Easton-Rancho Park Archery Range: what do users think?

Sho Gi: Awesome place to practice archery!

Kay: Everyone is respectful, grounds are always tidy, and most importantly, it feels safe. Oh and bathrooms are located nearby

j moonies: We’ve had a rough time of it, but free public classes are happening again. Saturdays at 11 AM, and every second Sunday in f the month at 1:30 PM. There’s LOTS of availability since we’ve been down since COVID. If you want to give it a try, how’s the time

Philip: Just started 5 months ago. This is a great facility. A free outdoor archery range with shade in the middle of the city. How awesome is that. The programs aren't really fully functional for classes.Otherwise if you're an intermediate+ archer, it's cool to check out. They have 4 ranges at different distance. The locals are very helpful when they are around. The city needs to get the ball rolling on letting the passionate volunteers start offering classes and loaner gear out again. They never fully recovered since pandemic regarding what activities and experiences the volunteers can provide.Apparently pre-pandemic it was a great packed community of archers with events and gathering happening regularlyCheck their FB page for the most up to date info..

Jeff Tong: A free sizable archery range, clean too! They've got 4 different ranges of varying distances. You do need to bring your own equipment including targets. There seem to be occasional classes taught here but it was pretty empty on the Saturday we went

Dennis Zhen: Archery range is free!

Jack Loh: Excellent facility with friendly and knowledgeable archers to hobnob with. Great place to target shoot and decompress

Andre Harrington: Great place to kick back and decompress. My only issue is to be care if you are out by yourself and it is getting late. Be aware of your surrounding at night.

Lex Schwartz: Amazing place!

Paulette Malveaux: Bill is an excellent coach!! Very personable; very patient!!

Martin Gutierrez: friendly people straight tips from friendly strangers

Yi Yue: Volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help

Mark Greydanus: Cool

Pasadena Roving Archers: what do users think?

Brandon M: Amazing! First time archer, long time gun shooter. Very different, but still similar. Nina was a great instructor, patient with our newby group and very hands on. 10/10 would recommend and return!!

Misty Winters-Krumweide: I love the Pasadena Roving Archers and the outdoor range. I took the first time archery class, and the instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was instantly hooked. Since then, I've taken a few returning archer classes, which have been helpful and loads of fun. Would definitely recommend this place and this group to anyone who wants to try something new. If you're interested in signing up for classes, you have to be on their website at exactly 12pm on Fridays because the classes fill up within minutes. If you want to be able to shoot by yourself, you'll need your own gear and get the safety certificate.

t akinstou (E-Nebula): Quite the experience for a first time archer. It was very fun.

Stewart Pei: It accommodates both beginners and advanced archers. Surroundings are all natural without artificial decor. Watch out coyotes who considered themselves a long term residence. There is also a casting pond available for its members.

May Chen: I signed the first time class for my niece and nephews at $5 each kid. After you park, cross the bridge and the place is located to the left behind some trees. Very friendly staff.

Ron Jobbes: Permit card required

jessibev: I love love LOVE this place! My sanctuary away from the city life. Highly recommend

Adrian Zamora: Great place for the whole family to enjoy.

Mario Zermeno: Great instructors. Learned archery here with my daughter. After 2 years We are still hooked. Everywhere we go and participate in archery people are impressed with our skills and safety. Once we let them know where we learned, everyone basically says the same thing, “Well, you learned from the best.” Thank you Roving Archers!

V Ramos: Fantastic place to be outdoors, and practice in peace. Theres plenty of lanes to shoot. Trees for shade if needed. It's fairly accessible. It's a beautiful area to simply be in. It is crucial to visit the Roving Archers website.

H Hawk: A five star review for a five star range!Proud to be a member of our wonderful club and volunteer organization.Come try a first timers class, that’s what I did about 10 years ago.Let your Dreams Loose!

Carissa Carns: William tell or robin hood? you decide

Woodley Park Archery Range: what do users think?

Barbara Walt: Nice place to enjoy the outdoors

Scott Wolff: Archery range is nice and they keep it super safe. Beginners to long range they have it all. Instructors are great and know their stuff and Andy is great on advice as well as the only person within at least a 50 + mile radius that does any type of work on recurve bows AND crossbows which is a major, major help . There are a lot of things at this park for the entire family and really kid friendly. B.b.q. birthday partys. Lake, birdwatching, soccer ⚽️, or

Paul Chevalier: Great for classes and there is a longer range of you have your own equipment. Instructors at the classes are helpful and are a good source of info. We’ve been doing the returning classes for about 8 mos.

Downtown Nikki: Lessons and range time available, instructors kind and helpful. Come learn a skill and enjoy some outside time!

Bee Madd (bm.): 4 lessons in and I'm loving it. the instructors are knowledgeable, kind, super helpful, and overall just an amazing experience. so glad I gave it try. you should too!!

Mark Arbing: Beginner class is $5. Instructors are great - friendly and really helpful.

Hope Rosemary: From several months ago:Have gone a few times now. Love that I can shoot arrows and throw sharp things here. First visit I broke our ax, whoops.Successfully practicing my archery and knife throwing skills. Hope to keep coming back, always a good time. Be mindful that it gets quite hot here since it’s up in the valley. Bring hats and sunscreen, lots of water or fluids for hydration. Or plan to come earlier or later in the day to avoid the midday heat.Community is very mindful about making sure the range is clear before anyone retrieves arrows and then back safely behind the shooting line before lifting bows again.Pretty quiet on this Friday morning visit.

Cat&Bunny: So lucky to have this place for the public to use. Look into their free classes and get started! Great for kids.

Gato Sosa: I love this place, very friendly people and trainers. It's free to come in and practice.

Miguel Angel Gutierrez: What a gem. Everyone here is really friendly.

Amy T: Google map very good

Jennifer Horne: Open from sun up to sun down. Always space to shoot, even when it’s busy. Very peaceful and I love the people I’ve met here!

David Pimentel: I ❤️ this park.

South Bay Archery Lessons: what do users think?

isaiah wilson: SouthbayArchery is an amazing facility for any aspiring archers. Led by Coach Paul and Coach Lani these two coaches have developed a program and a system that is safe, educational, never ending challenges, and loads of fun. Their big personalities are hidden in the shadow of their vast amount of knowledge for the sport from technique to working with ones own anatomical structures. They also offer open shooting on a regular basis that allows some to come and hone their skills. If you are considering archery in anyway shape or form, this is the place to begin your journey.

Tomasz Boinski: Perfect 👌 Super cool Family 👪 Sport!! Amazing Coaches 👏

BleuStar TheCat: Coach Paul has set up an awesome teaching style that’s both fun and informative. It’s a great facility!

Aayush Kapoor: Great instructor !

J. Mark Schwanz: Coaches are great, really well set up.

Jeremiah Miller: Wow, what a great experience!! We learned so much in just one lesson. Improvement was fast and noticable.

1nonlyGreekGod: About the Coach:Other than the obvious facts that Coach Paul is a Level-4 trainer, experienced, and patient; what I liked about training with Paul is his optimistic affirmative criticism. Without any mockery, he deliveries the feedback using constructive verbiage that keeps up the morale in the trainee. His choice of examples, words, is sure uplifting. He is a good conversationalist, too.About the facility:It is spacious & quiet inside. And has got its own parking outside. The location certainly is safe to park the vehicles outside without any concern. And, as other reviews stated, there sure are factors like affordability and a wide range of practice equipment for rental that makes this place appealing and convenient.

vanessa gomez: Paul made the entire experience so memorable and fun. He is a great instructor, who knew how to explain what corrections to make. Was so cool to see everyone gradually improve throughout the lesson! Went for my brother who was a natural at archery and had a great time. He even hit a “Robbin hood” so cool. Thank you!

Mori: Paul is an amazing teacher and gives off great vibes! My sister and I had a lot of fun gradually improving throughout the lesson. I highly recommend coming here if you're interested in archery!

Sara Corwin: Paul was a huge help in giving me confidence under pressure, a steady hand and the right mindset to train for success and ingrain proper form into muscle memory. I shoot a compound and use his tips every time I shoot. I absolutely recommend private lessons for anyone serious about improving their archery abilities whether it be with recurve or compound bow.

Damen Massey: Randomly got invited and we had so much fun. The staff was super nice and informative and attentive. A couple more lessons and we will be zombie apocalypse ready 😋😋😋Definitely will be returning

James Leight: We brought our scout troop for a group lesson of about 13 persons. Coach Paul and Coach Lani are outstanding. I learned more in the one lesson than I had ever about archery skills. Paul and Lani are very positive and excellent teachers. Their facility is really set up well. It was a great experience and I am hoping that my scouts who want to learn more and improve their shooting will sign up for lessons. An outstanding place to start and improve your archery skills with a great bunch of people.

Mo Mo: My daughter is 8yrs old and had a great first lesson with Paul. She loved it. Says Paul is a nice and kind, funny and caring guy. He was very patient and always in a great mood. We made another appointment to continue lessons immediately. I highly recommend this place!

JOSE OMAR GUILLEN: Absolutely the best coach you can find!

Charles Porterfield: South Bay Archery Lessons is great. Lots of selection. Had the two bows we wanted in inventory and got fully set up that day.

Tyler Schmidt: Great place to shoot.

Amanda F: for teaching archery =
