Poinsettia Recreation Center: what do users think?

Tommy Ramsey: It was really awesome.Playground: Your kids are going to love it.Restrooms: The restrooms were clean.Dog-friendliness: You must keep them on a leash.Picnic area: Beautiful green grass.

Julio cesar Cruz Dionisio: Playground: Incredible for little onesRestrooms: Super clean, they should put a urinal bar.Dog-friendliness: Yeah

Frank Padilla: Cool cruising spot if you know what I mean boys...

Malgorzata Sowa: This park is a great spot for pretty much everyone. It's got loads of space, making it feel never too crowded. The basketball and tennis courts, along with two baseball fields, mean there’s always a game to join or watch. Dog owners will love how welcoming it is for their furry friends, and the vibe is super friendly overall. There are bathrooms, so no worries about long days out, and it's packed with fun stuff for kids and teens to do. If you're looking to get active or just hang out, this park's got you covered.

jordin Lang Johnson: Sprawling urban park and recreation campus with seasonal youth sports and a full roster of popular arts, dance, music and enrichment classes for kids. Also several tennis courts, outdoor basketball, lovely shady childrens play area and an abundance of green space to enjoy. It’s so big and so popular that there seems to always be new people there, not quite as close knit of a community feel like some of the the other smaller parks and rec in the area. There is also a very large walking track and possibly the best selection of outdoor workout equipment than in any other nearby location. I mostly enjoy it because I can work out while my daughter attends ballet class. Perfect situation for parents. Public restrooms are available and cleaned regularly which is an added bonus.

Jason Pullen: Send to be a lot of people just hanging around at night. For no apparent reason…

Panic Responsibly: The doods at night. Woof

Keith Johnson: 2/13/24 Update: The sidewalks remain cleared of encampments. It's such a great park, it deserves to be better cared for.1/23/24 I'm informed the fencing was extended and the new tents have been removed.1/16/24 Tents are returning unfortunately. Right next to where the fencing that was put up ends. This is what a mess our city Hollywood has become. We're told we need more housing but we also need something in between - empty spaces to use for "rough camping" where we can provide services such as sanitation, mental health, housing and more. We can't continue to live like this, encampments are ruining our neighborhoods and our businesses and our quality of life.1/11/24 Encampments have been cleared, using the mayors Inside Safe program. And the sidewalk fenced off to prevent them from returning. Of course those who don't participate with mayors program unfortunately will simply move to another sidewalk in Hollywood.12/26 Neighbors and park users have united to get their council member involved to resolve this encampment issue. But other than occasional cleanups nothing's being done here to house the homeless - if anyone them are interested.Unfortunate how the nearby encampments are ruining our parks. It's as if no one cares about the safety of our neighbors & local businesses.

Tom Gallagher: Great vibes and nightly hangs with many good doggies. Ours loves it here.

Jesse Covarrubias: It was entertaining I can honestly say I didn't have a dull moment while I was here

Hitch Basketball Courts: what do users think?

Marc Geisemeyer: Love it

Abraham Moreno: These beautiful blue basketball courts is a great example what every pickup basketball court should look like. These beautiful blue courts are better than blacktop courts.Stay away from blacktop bball courts because the blacktop will get your hands all dirty and black, and get your ball all dirty and black. These nice blue courts look better than the blacktop courts at Venice beach! These blue courts are in myGOLDEN listof the best and nicest basketball courts for everyone to play on!

Joevanny Ruiz: 10/10 would recommendbring good shoes if youre a shifty player tho the courts be hella dusty sometimes

Tam Do (TamDoViet): Great place to play basketball! Very diversify and crowed. Very competitive. What I do not like is that people then to reserved the place for parties or events. I drive an hour to get there so I get mad sometime. Overall very good courts.

David S. Whitt II: You can go anytime you want to but they close around 10

Henry: The very best!

Fred Marzouk: Great place

Paul Walton: Great outdoor basketball courts.

Alpine Recreation Center: what do users think?

Miriam Miriam: This was the place my siblings and friends came to for many activities! As a teenager,I joined the lion dance group and the master would use one of the big gymns here to train us. We would do many sets of sit ups, push ups, and other exercises, as well as rehearse for the lion dance performances. It was so fun! I also remember having piano lessons here as a kid. I haven’t been back in over 20 years so I wonder what it is like now.

Wendy Sur: My son's been part of the basketball team for about 2+years.. really love the people that run the program and the coaches! He's learned so much! Thank you!

Jonathan Axtell: Love this place. Great community center with lots of programming for kids and families

Hazel Velasquez: Great recreational park!

Yaozong Xie: Alright

Peter Tam: Great venue for young and old. Two full-length indoor courts and three outdoor courts for basketball. Playground for kids.

Steve Soboroff Court Park: what do users think?

Michael Martinho: Great spot for tennis and basketball. We call the tennis court “the secret garden”

Natalya B: given that there's a playground and sports field/court adjacent. This is the biggest drawback.Bathrooms available right next to parking.Playground itself is nice. Gated. Tot play area as well as play area for older children. Some sheltered picnic tables and some uncovered. Benches all around. Small trail for children to ride bicycles. Grassy area.Restrooms: Bathrooms available right next to parking.

We Roll Up: One of the nicest parks in LA.

F T: Really cute park, very well kept and lots of attention to details - the water fountains all in working order, the toilets are clean and there are 3 benches under some trees for people to enjoy a little picnic.2 basketball courts with seating options to watch the games, and it's steps away from a nice trail. It has a little playground for kids, the only place where dogs are not allowed. Dogs are allowed everywhere else in the park. Not a lot of parking space, and that's limited to the park customers.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly everywhere except from the playground

Lance R. Greene: Clean and peaceful. Good sportsmanship practiced while playing basketball. A nice play area for children, tennis courts, a play space for your dogs. More areas should be so nice.

moneygangkaz: Took son to play basketball

Daryl Adams: Nice, clean, quiet until your kids make noise from the fun lolPlayground: Rubber matted, dexterity testing apparatusRestrooms: Clean and close proximityPicnic area: Not big or a lot but good enough for the area size

Jeremy Nicholson: Basketball court near me... and this is where I popped the net

Letty: Park is private, and have rules. Yes there is security and people need to pay attention to rules posted on rule board. Parking available only for use of park.

Stefen Hill: Great park with 2 basketball courts. There are normally people shooting around who are willing to play pick up Wednesday/Thursday evenings

Wendy Limon: Such a hidden gem I didn't know about this park and I've lived in the area for years!Playground: Well maintained, clean and has a gate door for safety.Restrooms: Cleanest public park restroom.
