Connie Calderon: Overdue review, but I wanted to leave 5 stars for Shahar and his team! Earlier this year, we needed to remove a load bearing wall between two rooms to open it up into a large room. Shahar was so nice and so professional from the beginning. Dealing with contractors is often not a great experience because you don't know who you can trust or who would do a good job, there are lot's of people after your money without actually solving your problem. But, I have to say, this is a guy you can absolutely trust with your project. He has such integrity from the little things I noticed throughout the project, and he always kept me up to date on progress. He's on my list of go-to guys for home construction needs because once you find someone who does honest hard work, you can't let them go in LA.

Lorraine Wiener: Recently we found out that we have a view because neighbors below us removed or cut down trees. We wanted to see it better with a balcony but our city would not allow it. We hired Structura Remodeling to help us. They created a fabulous outdoor/indoor space that is just a jaw dropper. Once we started the project the building went fast. All of the workers were professional. All of the workers came when they said they would. Structura Remodeling worked with the city, to get all of the permits. Would I recommend Structura? Yes. In fact now we have hired Structura to remodel our kitchen.Update: We just completed our kitchen remodel. It is gorgeous. All of the craftsmen who worked on the job were professional, worked hard, came when they said they would, knew what they were doing. The office manager, Carlos was always available for all updates and Kobi the owner is honest. Yes it was expensive, but worth every dollar. Donna Blanco: I had been unhappy with my old kitchen for a long time. I needed more space. My son had a remodel in his house, and he encouraged me to go ahead and remodel my kitchen. He found several contractors to consider. He introduced me to Kobi, as Kobi had done his remodel. Of all the contractors I interviewed, Kobi was easily the first choice. He was understanding of my situations and patient when I had difficulty deciding. He worked with me to help me get what I wanted. Showed me design of several different ways to do the project the way I wanted. We completely gutted the kitchen, and took out a wall, which made a big difference in giving me more room and open space. We also did new flooring through out the house, insulation and rewired part of the house which was the old original wires and put in a new electrical panel. Communication was great, as I had Carlos thr project coordinator whom I could call with any concerns.I now have a beautiful kitchen that has more space and is more modern! I would recommend Kobi and his team, to anyone who wants to do a remodel of any size!

Kobi and his designer quickly came up with a plan and provided a materials list of the items we needed to buy.A detailed inspection revealed the floor joists were smaller than expected, which required a change because our desired slope wasn’t possible. Kobi’s team quickly came up with 3 options for dealing with it, and waited patiently while my wife and I considered the options. It took us a few weeks but once we decided, Kobi promptly proposed a start date.They worked fast, and I had to shop quickly to get the items here when needed. They removed all the old fixtures, replaced damaged studs and joists, created a new floor slope, installed new floor and wall tile, tankless water heater

Eric Sue: We contacted Structura Remodeling to get an estimate on some considerable kitchen and bathroom remodeling we wanted to get done. Kobi was able to check out the house on relatively short notice and spent a good amount of time walking through the project, giving me his thoughts, and taking measurements. He came off as super experienced and honest, even taking the time to give me his thoughts on other contractors' estimates.Kobi even put in time over the weekend to get us an estimate since we were under some time pressure. His estimate was very detailed and the pricing was fair. However, it slightly exceeded our budget so we had to go with another option. This isn't a negative against Structura Remodeling in any way; it just wasn't the right fit for us at the time. I don't doubt that Kobi and the Structura team would do a great job if we chose to go with them. Perhaps on another project at another time.

Hitomi Takada: We had our full house remodel and landscape work with Spazio LA. Our project manager was Shay and are very impressed with him. He was always available when we needed to talk with him via phone or in person. His responses to our question were very timely and very satisfactory. He was very well organized to manage the construction schedule. We had frequent in person meetings to go over the work each week. Although our remodel took place in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic from January 2021 to September 2021, Shay managed to complete the remodel work within our expected time framework. Due to COVID-19, labor shortage and supply chain issues, the work could go longer than 9 month but he was able to finish by the end of September 2021 by a very good construction management . When work quality did not meet Spazio’s standards, Shay did all necessary rework at their costs. Shay and Sapzio took full responsibility of completing our remodel work till the end.Only one thing we did not like was workers did not timely clean trash and it accumulated at certain times. We suggest more frequent trash cleaning at construction sites.Overall, we had an excellent remodel work experience with Spazio LA. We are very happy about our new house and enjoy it every day. Rodney Mason: Spazio LA, with Shay Shuster as our project manager, took our dated and impractical 1950s house and gave us a beautiful, updated and functional home, offering creative solutions and original design ideas that elevated the final outcome beyond our original expectations. The remodel included every room in the house and the back yard. Shay and the team, including Essie, Gonzalo, and Rafi, and Daliah, were personable and did an excellent job of chaperoning us through the whole design and construction process. Shay was attentive and very responsive. We were very appreciative of his accommodation of our schedules, which made it possible for us to maintain our work schedules with little interruption through the entire process. He was in constant contact by text message, phone call or email where appropriate. Once the permit was approved, work started immediately and we were impressed by the level of activity, which sometimes included multiple teams working on different sections at once. As can be expected with an old house, problems and unexpected findings occasionally arose and were handled promptly with ingenuity and thought. The few things that did not turn out to our satisfaction were redone with no hesitation. Spazio LA is a one-stop shop that makes the client’s life easy with designers, architects, structural engineers, landscapers, and contractors coordinated with speed, efficiency and oversight. The reason I contacted them was not only the great reviews, but it's a father / son team. Shawn, the son, e-mailed me back promptly and mentioned that their company does not work on commercial projects. They try to stay in their lane, and specialize in single family remodeling, custom bathrooms and ADU's. I called him later in the day and he was very honest about the companies work. They like to specialize in a few areas. He spent about 20 minutes on the phone and offered to reach back out if I had any questions on building out my current rental home or adding an ADU. Would definitely use them in the future.

Robert Schmidt: doesn't double speak. He doesn't undersell the cost of things or hide costs that will arise outside the scope of his contracted services. If you ask him how much something will cost, he tells you flatly. In addition to this, he's organized. We communicated almost entirely over whatsapp, and for the majority of the project, I wasn't even on the property, but I found the whatapp dedicated chat was super useful, because the search functions are excellent, and you can export the whole chat which is a great way to keep track of invoices, payment receipts, etc.Project Management - Being offsite, I was greatly reliant on Mike to not only keep me involved, but also to provide daily pictures, and occasionally to coordinate with my main house's tenants needs.. No, but I don’t think hands off remodeling exists unless you are willing to pay the money for someone to do that for you. Overall though they were great to work with. Even after the project, they are willing to come out to fix things for me which is really great and helpful.

Dora Tung: This is not my first time working with Elena and Dmitry of Pulsar Construction and there is definitely a reason I called them again.The first time my family worked with them was when they repaired my parents’ bathroom after there was water damage. They were thorough and timely. I was so impressed that I called Elena again when it was time for me to remodel my house.Again, Pulsar Construction far exceeded my expectations. Initially I called to remodel two bedrooms, one of which was to be converted to a nursery. I replaced the carpet with vinyl flooring, repainted, and tore down the old closet doors. Dmitry and his team also repaired the balcony and the wall damaged from a leaky roof. While going over the house we found a leaking pipe and Pulsar was able to upgrade the plumbing as well.I called them right before the holidays and they were able to start sooner than anticipated and they worked diligently to finish up in time for me to enjoy my “new home” before I had to return to work. They were so hard working and sometimes would work until 8pm.It was a joy working with them and I fully appreciate how well Elena communicated with me.
