Christopher Nelson: Just a nice big sandy beach with a tasty restaurant and volleyball nets. It was windy the day we went and there were still people playing the the water. Cyclists were riding the path separating the beach from the parking lot and a single hang glider was braving the gusts. We just sat in the sand waiting for our flight. It was really nice. Approximately a 20min drive from LAX.Restrooms: We were here early May 2024 and the bathrooms were open

Rebecca Grant: Close to beach, clean facilitates, had security 24/7, and good place for dogs. One of the few places that allows fire on beach. Black guy across from me was drunk, beating his kids, Cops came did nothing, guy took off with his sewer line still attached, ripped out smelled bad. But the place picked up broken pieces. Also planes from LAX kinda loud.

This beach is not as busy with crowds as its neighboring beaches in Malibu and Santa Monica, but it does get its fair share in the summer. It’s nice and sandy, is perfect for sunbathing and swimming, and has over 3 miles of beach frontage and about 103 acres of beach.
The beach is great for families as well, since it is lined with plenty of volleyball courts and picnic tables. Surfing, surf fishing, sailing, and wind surfing are also popular activities at this beach. Beach wheelchairs are also available here.
This beach was named after Will Rogers, actor, philosopher, and cowboy. In the early 1930’s, Will Rogers was the most popular and highest paid actor in Hollywood. Despite the country’s economic hardships of the Great Depression, in 1930 Will Rogers was earning $300,000 a picture. He was also a radio star and his syndicated column was carried in more newspapers than that of any other writer. Will Rogers was killed in a plane crash in 1935. Ten thousand mourners filled the Hollywood Bowl to honor him, including virtually every movie star and studio executive in Hollywood. At the time of his death, he was still the number one star of 20th Century Fox Studios.

D.O: I would recommend cause it’s clean and has a lot of amenities, but there is too much dogs left on balconies and they bark day and night! It's unbearable.. it resonates a lot in the residence !
