4worldlovers: We make all our food fresh daily in our kitchens “from scratch” using the best ingredients such as local eggs & produce, extra virgin olive oil, french chocolate, imported olives & cheeses, garden fresh herbs such as flat leaf parsley, tarragon, rosemary & oregano. We marinate and roast our angus roast beef & carne asada, farm fresh-raised turkey & chicken and bake many of our own specialty items.

Our chili, soups, sauces, salad dressings, spreads are unique and proprietary. We do this so that we can deliver the "homemade quality & taste" that is the hallmark of LA Cafe! And because we love you, our customers!

4worldlovers: When we started Eggslut, we wanted to offer a product that we felt was missing from the market. We'd like to think we're offering something a lot of consumers enjoy --- hence, the line. We do our very best to accommodate all customers that choose to dine with us. We try our very best to expedite the process without skipping out on quality & service.

We wanted to offer fresh, quality products cooked to order. Because we use a higher quality product, there is a higher price for our delicious egg sammies. We take a lot of care in making them, so our hope is that you enjoy them all the more.

All our sandwiches come on a brioche bun or house-made biscuit. We do not currently offer any gluten-free bread options. We do offer a no-bread/sub salad option on all our dishes, and most of our sandwiches can be made without any meat. We cannot guarantee a gluten-free meal, as some of our other ingredients may contain gluten.

It started out as an idea between friends. Blu Jam, a casual cafe that was born in Hollywood and utilizes seasonal local ingredients to create gourmet breakfast and lunch dishes at an affordable price. Friends and partners Kamil Majer and David Fris shared that dream, which ultimately became a reality in 2006 when our doors first opened on Melrose Avenue.

The food is phenomenal. There are a lot of things I want to try, but no matter where I go for breakfast or brunch I have to try Eggs Benedict and this was a top 5 easily. The sauce was perfect, the eggs were perfect, everything about it was perfect.
