Kevin Longrie: Fewer and fewer books these days. I remember when this opened. I remember the original Alias over by the Nuart. I remember wishing I was a grad student with a job here. Love the section, love the staff; wish I had more good bookstores like this near me.
Nash Holcomb: Used book stores are essential! Here you can find all sort of stuff from popular titles to plenty of obscure or hyper-specific works, like a book on artwork from North Korea for example. Definitely worth a visit for any book lovers, especially if you’re into philosophy or political science

서은아: I was so happy to see Aladdin Bookstore in LA that I went in. There are both Korean and English books. It is located on the 3rd floor and there are many restaurants and cafes around.

narae kim: You can park at the H Mart building, and if you get a parking stamp, it's free for four hours. The books are diverse and well organized. Above all, the staff were very friendly. I plan to visit again next time I go to LA.

Things that are WAY out of print.. like "The Joy of Crock Pot Cooking." Lol...It's just a lil slice of heaven. They even have a readers nook where you can come & quietly enjoy your book treasure in peace & comfort. It's seriously never ending... I just love it.

I finally went there and found the mirage is actually paradise. Julio Moran: Avid vinyl collector here. Used to live walking-distance from here but hadn't been back for about 20 years. It was more about used CDs back then, and I bought a boatload of them there. An ammicable place with great stock. Finally had some time to spend there again and was glad to see it hasn't changed. Still a very nice bookstore, and of course when it comes to music, it"s more about vinyl now.I would say it's a tad more pricey than the standard, but wouldn't call it expensive. And their selection is pretty good - not much filler stuff as in most other places. As a music fan, I highly recommend you check it out.

SC: One of my favorite used books and records stores. I’ve been going here for years! I could be here for hours going through the books and the records. Rocco, the owner, knows his store from front to back and has an exceptional collection of first editions. This store is tucked away off the busy streets and is a gem in the neighborhood.

Now it's right in my backyard!This one is just like all the rest - decently clean, well stocked, and full of nonsense from floor to ceiling. The prices are usually okay and comparable to eBay for stuff like figurines. You might find a few mispriced items, so check online to make sure you're getting what you want at the best price possible.
M M: Great selection of books! They also have a big magazine section to the left of the entrance. I usually go to look for magazines like Japanese vogue.

A pleasurable exchange and book conversation with Quinn and Emma who placed the order and upon my walk today stopped in to pleasantly find out it was there in a punctual manner. Their team work and friendly demeanor exceptional. I call him The Mighty Quinn as a reference to the song and the fact we both prefer the Manfred Mann cover! Good to have some lighthearted humor in the mix.If you look at the photos closely there is one with the bag. Pay attention to the store stamp. Quinn stamps each bag one by one!!! This is how much heart and love goes into the endeavor. Support this store and share with others who love books and writer events.
