David Sarmiento: I did find some camera components there making some purchases but there’s some limitations on low stock for some products. They cater to the newest cameras so if you’re still working with a camera you’re familiar with which has some age you’ll be limited on they’re selections. They have all the newest brands for those who can afford it but not so much of a inventory for climbing artists on a budget.

It's true that some sakes people may not know the answer to your question, but more often than not, they do. There is a ton of knowledge to conceive in this craft. Samy's is a relic, and it's a blessing to be able to go there and simply absorb what this man, Samy, brought to the world. May God rest his soul. Anthony Torres: Came here for Mathieu Bitton's Paris Blues Q/A artist talk on 2/25/24. What an incredible artist, photographer, designer, producer, and grammy winner. He shared marvelous stories of his upbringing in Paris, venturing to flea markets, buying up rare vinyl records, and his love for Prince. He spoke about moving to Los Angeles at age 14 to be with his mother and being immersed in the LA culture. He also touched on him moving to New York to attend NYU boarding school. This is where his career really blossomed. As of right now, Mathieu Bitton has designed over 1000 LPs and CDs. He is a world-renowned collector of Black films. He has worked with and photographed many celebrities and recording artists. He was recently given a grammy for his work with Dave Chappelle.What truly amazing life stories. We had an amazing time with an amazing person.Can not wait for the book signing!

Craig Diamond: What a fabulous place to stop by if you’re looking for a Leica fix. Michael is one of the instructors and salesmen who was happy to chat and quite knowledgeable about all things with the red dot.
Avedon Arcade: its great to come in and check out some art and the latest gear. It’s also nice to just get informed on the latest tech advancements.Parking lot is available but it is all metered like street parking like most of that area. Holidays though they’ll be off and free!
Vinoth Chandar: They had lovely cameras but I went to buy some accessories and were short on them. However i had a great experience going around the gallery.
Norman Harris: Another amazing experience at the gallery with two very accomplished photographers. Great video presentations, question and answer sessions. Now I have two autographed books to recollect the experience.

Joe Dusel: The store is nice and the gallery is great. The Leica cameras looked terrific, and the staff seemed to be very attentive to the customers. The cameras and lenses are way out of my price range, so I did not personally check them out. I did have a nice time in the gallery. The store does have valet parking, so take advantage of it. Parking in the residential neighborhood next to the store will get you a fine, and I understand they are vigilant about it.

Tj Reza: Top photography paper place in the LA county. They have a corporate office as well for businesses. They have every paper you can think of for work. Unmatched anywhere I've been to around LA.

Gabie Y: Friendly spot with a great selection of classic and experimental films. The scan quality for 35mm was great and the price for scans and purchasing new film was fairly middle of the road for an LA film lab.

They were perfectly on time and sent the scans within 2 days and the lady who works there is so lovely. They packaged my negatives safely for my travels and were incredibly efficient and helpful. They were lovely enough to even clean up the images for me so I’m very happy. Thanks!
