Steven Muga: Such an incredible place of architecture; echoes of an 'Old World' past. It's difficult to believe this church/cathedral was built in 1886. 'Founded' is the key term. This place is beyond our time, it's interesting to see it's reflection in the 'modern' building across from it. Speaks volumes.

Randy Pruitt: Sucks in South Central

CaliLA 818GS: Walking into the St.James Episcopal Church was a beautiful heartwarming experience. I couldn't be more grateful to Ms.Margaret who's love for humanity is something beautiful and quite frankly, very rare. If you are looking to donate I recommend this place they actually care for human beings and see that the donations go to the community. There was something very authentic and beautiful about this place. When you walk into this place the love and generosity from the volunteers and Ms.Margaret is to be honest a bit overwhelming and I couldn't be more grateful. We were fed, clothes were given to our family and food to take home. I want to thank Ms.Magaret and the wonderful volunteers of the St.James Episcopal Church.

Alfred The Great: by humans, so we can't satisfy every person, but if you want to get a good experience in a god's communion, it is a good place for many people. It will be hard to maintain an atmosphere to welcome and serve weaker people; homeless and poor people, as exactly Jesus, and this church do.

Johnny Galindo: I have attended the services they offer on Saturday, And without question the very best of people you will ever come across. They are truly authentic in the help they are offering to those in need. And not to mention the volunteers that offer their services on Saturdays most of them are USC students. God bless and keep up the awesome work you do.

Виталий Коростелёв: Good day, my name is Vitaly and I am from Ukraine, from a once beautiful and glorious city by the sea called Mariupol, but now my family and I are left without a home and without a familiar life, and my wife received injured and became disabled, I defend Ukraine as part of the armed forces of Ukraine, but I am also looking for a new home and a new life for my family, at least until the moment when this is all over. I would really like to use the u4u program, and on the advice of many people, I leave this message for help right here, because where, if not here, you can find people who are not indifferent and ready to help.

St. Timothy's Catholic Church: what do users think?

Salie Villegas: Title: St. Timothy Church in Pico: A Welcoming and Spiritually Nurturing CommunityIntroduction:My visit to St. Timothy Church in Pico left a profound impact on me. From the moment I stepped foot into the church, I felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and inclusivity. The community at St. Timothy's is dedicated to fostering a spirit of love, acceptance, and spiritual growth. Here's my review of the wonderful experience I had at St. Timothy Church.Welcoming Atmosphere:St. Timothy Church embraces the values of hospitality and acceptance, creating an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. From the friendly greeters at the entrance to the warm smiles from fellow parishioners, I immediately felt part of the community. The church's architecture, with its beautiful stained glass windows and serene interior, adds to the overall sense of tranquility and reverence. Throughout my time at St. Timothy Church, I always felt comfortable and embraced by its loving environment.Spiritually Engaging Services:The church's services are thoughtfully planned and infused with deep spiritual meaning. The clergy at St. Timothy Church skillfully deliver inspiring sermons that address relevant topics and connect them to biblical teachings. The worship experience is enhanced by the participation of talented musicians and a choir that uplifts the congregation with their harmonious voices. The services strike a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, creating a truly enriching and engaging environment for worship.Community Involvement and Outreach:What sets St. Timothy Church apart is its active involvement in the local community and dedication to serving those in need. The church's commitment to outreach programs and social justice initiatives demonstrates its genuine desire to make a positive impact beyond its doors. Through food drives, volunteer work, and partnerships with charitable organizations, St. Timothy Church proves itself to be a pillar of support and compassion within the Pico community.Youth and Family Programs:St. Timothy Church values and invests in the spiritual growth of its younger members. With a range of engaging youth and family programs, children and teenagers are provided with opportunities to explore and deepen their faith in a nurturing environment. From Sunday School classes to youth retreats, these programs encourage young individuals to embrace spirituality and develop strong moral values, creating a solid foundation for their future.Pastoral Care and Support:St. Timothy Church has a compassionate and attentive pastoral team that offers support and care to its members. Whether it's through counseling, prayer groups, or simply being a listening ear, the clergy and staff are dedicated to guiding and uplifting parishioners during times of joy, sorrow, and everything in between. The church truly stands as a source of strength and solace for those who find refuge within its walls.Conclusion:St. Timothy Church in Pico is a place where spirituality, community, and service come together to create a meaningful and transformative experience. From the warm and inclusive atmosphere to the engaging services and commitment to community outreach, the church fosters an environment where all are welcomed and supported. Whether you are seeking a place for worship, spiritual growth, or community engagement, St. Timothy Church provides an enriching and inspiring experience that will leave you feeling nourished in mind, body, and spirit.

Siham Koury: The pastor’s homely:very simple and down to earth.Great sacred church for prayer and meditation Saturday afternoon and of course for the Sunday celebration

Roland Balamiento: My favorite church in LA.

Al Arrieta: My late wife's favorite church.

Maverick F: Beautiful mass. Stayed late to take a few photos of the beauty inside this church. Would've liked to stay longer but will return in the future.

Chester Paul Sgroi: I have visited this parish a couple of times when in the area. I really like that the way thie friendly priest adds a degree of sacredness to the celebration of Holy Mass through song and the use of ringing bells during the elevation of the most Holy Body and Blood of Christ through the celebration of the Eucharist. After the Masses there is coffee and donuts plus their deacon actually gives good homilies. This parish has an active Knights of Columbus Council and a nice parish hall for which they are raising money to upgrade. My only nit with this parish is that the restrooms are downstairs with apparently no ADA access. The same holds true for the hall. Other than that, I really have had great experiences with this particular Catholic church and look forward to my next visit here.

ALARAS: PRAISE THE LORD!

Juan Ramon Figueroa: A very orderly church and a beautiful impression, in terms of its architecture.
