Jonathan Tuil: Man was i happy to find this place ! The two gentlemen that run it are amazing and made me feel right at home. I came in for a coloring to bleach and tone my hair and make it as platinum as possible without doing any damage to my sensitive scalp. Ended up taking a couple hours and a small second iteration and we got magic. i was so happy with the entire experience it went by so fast.Not even lying this was my best experience with bleaching my hair in all the 4 times i’ve done it. A few have been nightmare stories so what a relief.The total after tipping came out to 300 which i wasn’t expecting. i looked on the website but i should have asked before and gotten a final estimate so that’s my bad. The quality was worth the price and it took 2 hours so i understood.Overall for hollywood i doubt your gonna find better . These guys know hair and will give you exactly what you want. worth itRequested style: bleach and toner

Daria Argiro: I came to Mane Duo after feeling frustrated with previous cuts and admittedly I had some very specific requests- that being said, I was so impressed with how attentive Joey was throughout my whole experience at the salon. He really listened to what I wanted and asked about how I usually style my hair and what products I used so we could work towards a realistic goal that I was going to be happy with outside of the salon. I couldn’t be happier with the results, my hair looks exactly how I hoped it would and with the advice he gave me about styling it’s been so easy to recreate the perfect blowout look on my own. Not to mention how kind and welcoming both Joey and Misha were! I’m looking forward to going back to them and couldn’t recommend them more.

Not only myself love my new look but also my friends and my coworkers… I’ve received so many compliments!I also purchased the volume foundation and spray which helped me to get the fullness since I have very thin and soft hair, and they smell awesome compared to many other brands.I can tell that both of the stylists are having extreme good sense of fashion and they are very honest about what looks good on you and offer recommendations. I am currently a UCLA student and I’ve learned that Joey graduated from UCLA with a masters degree!! Misha taught me how to take care of my hair at home with great patience! He is amazing—I moved to Montecito a year ago, tried 2 people there, and now very happily make the drive to see Myles. I have never had better haircuts, a better hairdresser, and a better time! His assistant Jungko is a treat as well. Even if we move further, I will make the trip on happy little wings!
Last May, Leslie gave me the shortest haircut I've ever had and I sure I'd have to go back in a couple of months for a trim. Fast forward to November! The shortest haircut I've ever had also proved to be the BEST haircut I've ever had! No kidding, not only did I get a TON of compliments after getting this cut, but it grew out so well I felt like I didn't need a trim for 6 months! Aimee: I booked an appointment with Sterling at Gamine Beauty by the recommendation of a close friend whose haircut I was admiring, and my experience surpassed my expectations. Sterling spent the time to assess what I was hoping for in a cut, and we looked at some of the photos I brought in and we talked it over. I appreciated his clear communication about what he thought might work well with my hair type. Sterling meticulously and carefully cut my hair and made precise adjustments to give me a cut I feel so incredibly fabulous with. He’s a lovely and cool person to boot so it was fun chatting with him while he worked on my hair. Overall, a 5 star salon experience and I look forward to returning to Sterling at Gamine for my next cut.
