Srujana Reddy Jaidi: My experience with 1st Choice Driving School was great. Huge shoutout to Donovan, my driving instructor. Being a complete novice in the world of driving, I was pretty anxious at the start. However, my instructor helped me tackle my driving fears and patiently guided me through the basics, explained all the rules of the road, and made sure I didn't make the same mistakes again. Donovan was friendly, patient and was tough at times but only to make sure you pass your driving test. He goes the extra mile to motivate students and help them succeed. Would highly recommend to take lessons with Donovan. Thank you again!!

SYEDA ASMA TASNIM: Great school, highly recommend!!! They help to schedule DMV driving test appointments and gives you a car for your test if you choose the car test service. They also send reminder emails 2 hours prior before the service. I had a Hyundai Ionic which was really comfortable to drive.I haven’t been driving for more then 5 years since I left my country and moved to LA. I’ve taken a two hour lesson and passed the test. Mikey was my instructor, he was really nice and helpful to point to the rules different here then my country and pointing to my mistakes so I corrected them and passed the test.
Sujay Jain: Primo driving is an excellent place to learn driving. I really enjoyed working with their instructors, especially Michael. He gave very clear and practical explanations for so many different rules and situations.

Sarah Anschell: I had the best lesson with Mikey!! He couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful during the lesson. By the end of the two hours I legitimately felt like I had improved as a driver and felt way more comfortable behind the wheel.
Wardalynn Mimouna: Incredible instructors. I specifically requested to take each class in a different car and with a different instructor so I could learn the most. I especially enjoyed my classes with Ellie and Eddy and took multiple with both of them. I started out being super nervous and learned so quickly thanks to their encouragement and tips. They always asked me where I wanted to drive that day so I was really able to get practice all over the city. Ellie and Eddy were incredibly friendly and gave me such a sense of confidence on the road. I could not recommend them and Primo enough! VERY SATISFIED.
Minseung Kim: I highly recommend Andrew as an instructor. He always makes students feel relaxed, encouraging to practice driving safely. His instruction is super clear, easy to follow, and always useful for the test. Especially on the test day, he walked me through from warm-up to check-in, giving me all last minuate advice that I should keep in mind during the test. I also met other great instructors. Kathyruth is an expert at teaching how to park and Reyli explains well things you should improve on. Without their lessons, I would'nt have passed the test at first trial. Thank you so much!In addition, the office is responsive, easy to communicate either by call or via email. Its online portal for enrolled students is very convenient to schedule lessons.All instructors and staff members I contacted are kind, patient and nice. I dont have any regret about choosing Primo as my driving school.

Bari LeBari: My experience at Primo Driving School was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! If I could give 20 stars I would!! Huge shoutout to Byron and Carlos. Byron got me pumped up and ready for the drivers test. He polished my skills and helped me work on my abilities. And most importantly, he was an amazing guy who made sure I felt confident and sure I would do well. Unfortunately, during that test, there was an issue at the Culver City DMV where I couldn't take the drivers test, but thankfully Byron helped resolve the issue and was able to reschedule it for the next day. Then the next day, Carlos took me down, polished my skills and I passed! God is good! Big shoutout to Benji, Sean and Eddy who were my other driving instructors and for Chris who took me on my first drivers test. I am so grateful to Primo for helping me learn how to drive!!! You guys are the best!!!

A Mayor: Just reserved with Jaelyn. She explained everything and made me feel comfortable! We are set up for Stick Shift and after reading reviews, I may want to try it myself, even though I already know how. But great experience so far and by far the best start. Spoke with many other companies and these salespeople put on some hard pressure. But Jaelyn was totally wonderful and explained all our options and sold us on her working with our schedule and suggested the best times to do our lessons. We got rush hour, night time and day time no traffic for the 3 days. Very professional so far and if the actual lessons are even better, lookout for the best review known to man. Referrals are big and I will make sure I spread the good word. You don't get 5 stars with over 200 reviews if you didn't do it right. Great hire with Jaelyn and keep up the great work! Happy New Year!

Unknown: and even though a learned a bit, I felt like their teachers only added up to my anxiety, I felt awful behind the wheel and like I'm doing everything wrong and bad. I found Perla through reviews and just want to say SHE'S THE BEST teacher I've ever had, she's calm, friendly, chill and very very professional and encouraging, I seriously admire her driving and composure! She helped me to fix all my mistakes and bad habits I acquired from previous teachers and gave me confidence that I can be a good driver. I passed my test with ease and wasn't even that stressed overall. I recommend that everyone take their lessons from Perla, she's seriously the best, I'm very grateful for her hard work and honestly gonna miss our lessons! Thanks Perla!

So kind, patient and a great teacher.I haven't driven in years - I'm from London and moved to LA a few years ago - so I wanted to gain confidence driving around a busy city like LA and understand road rules better. I took Ford's 18 hour package which includes the DMV test and was so lucky to have Perla teach me. Anyone would be lucky to have her! I passed first time and have taken away a lot of knowledge thanks to Perla.Definitely learn with Ford whether you're new to driving or needing a refresher.

And if your schedule permits and Perla's availability allows it, I highly recommend taking classes with her. Perla is kind, encouraging, patient, and comfortable to be around, and it is visible that she genuinely enjoys and is excellent at her job. She'd correct me when I made mistakes during classes without making me feel bad. She was verbally correcting me and visually showing me the correct ways through miniature cars, drawings, notes, and her driving, which were extremely helpful. Thank you for all the help! 🙌🙌
G M: I highly recommend this driving school. After taking 6h of driving with a different school I left extremely scared of driving. I then booked 18h at Ford Driving School and passed the exam on the first try! Steve is an incredible instructor, knowledgeable, patient, and very supportive. In only 3 weeks he got me ready for the exam and I couldn’t wish for a better instructor!! Then Jose took me to the DMV test and did an amazing job at preparing me for the exam, he made my stress go away and really gave me the confidence to succeed! Every employee I met at the school was so agreeable, understanding and flexible. Best driving school ever!
bridgette boone: I’m 24 and never learned how to drive. So I finally got down to it and I decided to the same driving school as my younger siblings. I was even lucky enough to have the same teacher as them Steve. I got to ride around with Steve and he was awesome. He really conceptualized the reasons for defensive driving. He’s one of the best teachers I’ve had! And I’m a kindergarten teacher myself! He was never rude when he had to help me make a correction. He made me feel really safe and we had really great conversations while driving around. I got the confidence to start, because the first couple of times you drive can feel daunting. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I think doing this driving class helped ease tension between me and my parents. When I did go to drive with my mom for the first time I had already practiced 4 hours with Steve. Which I think made all the difference.

Both sessions were great, and the instructors were friendly. Learnt a lot very quickly.I also requested a vehicle and instructor to drive me to the actual test. Luis accompanied me. First guiding me through the test routes, then waiting at the DMV while the test was completed. Passed the test on the first try!Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend.

Both were excellent, personable, and professional.Cynthia helped me feel more at ease on the road, and Antero really aided in the know-how of what to watch out for on the road.They both provided useful techniques for me, and I'm happy to say that after the 3 lessons provided - and frequent practice in between - I am much more comfortable on the road. I recommend spacing out the lessons a bit to once a week and to practice each day in between to get the most out of your lessons.It was also pleasant and efficient to take to them on the phone and to schedule/reschedule any appointments.Solid experience overall.

Also, big shoutout to JUAN. Juan is the guy; he knows how to make you feel comfortable when driving. There is another guy that starts with a K..Kaillon..something like that, but he is also amazing. Instructors here are respectful and kind, especially if you have no driving experience.

Really wouldn't have done so without him!

Lombardi Barrera: definitely helped me a few years ago when i was terrified to go to the dmv for my drivers test. the instructor whose name i forgot now, was very helpful on correcting me when i made a mistake while driving and gave me helpful tips that i use till this day. about a year after, i sent my little brother with them when he was ready to go in for the drivers test. and over the years, ive been sending a few other family members with them and they have all gotten their license on the first try.

SDB SDB: I took a total of 8h within a week and a half and passed my test. Prior to this I had failed my test many times over the years because I didn’t live in a city where people drove and I was always a very nervous driver and nervous about tests. I had three different instructors, all three were amazing and had their different styles of teaching but Miguel took me to the test and had really good calming energy and really helped me ace my test. A Winick: I needed to take the CA driving test after moving from a foreign country. Gustavo was a great instructor for the one hour test prep and I easily passed with his help. Reasonable price, I’d highly recommend Community Driving School!
