Jeff, owner of Westside Scooter Service, is simply great. He is a mechanic from the now-closed Route 66, so former customers should already know the reliability of his work. Jeff is accommodating, he takes time to explain the work he's done to your scooter and why, and his prices are very fair. I highly recommend him and his shop.
The shop was a little hard to find, but Jeff is amazing. Great service, fair prices, super quick and friendly. The address is technically on Jefferson, but the actual shop is accessed from Slauson. It's next door to the tire center in a little shop used by a bunch of artists/builders etc. called "The Guild." Jeff doesn't always answer his phone, so doing a drop-off is kind of hard. Definitely make an appointment. He gets texts at the number listed.

F G: Great service, had my vespa fixed, I reccomend to do an appointment. The address/entrance is kind of hard to find since the entrance is on Slauson, while the building address is on Jefferson.
Haas Snelling: I've had to do a lot of work on my Piaggio X9. It's one big maxi scooter. At 500ccs I hurtle it down the highway with incredible speed and power. I've used other mechanics and the options for them were limited because this particular vehicle is not very common around here. I always felt uneasy after thier services because either I was overcharged or thier obvious lack of expertise on this specific model was unnerving. It's important to me to feel safe going such long distances and at the fast speeds the X9 is capable of. After my transmission service from Jeff my scooter has never scooted better. His knowledge and quality work has restored my confidence and I'm so grateful. He even showed me some things The other guys had done wrong! Scary! The prices were beyond fair for the peace of mind I now have. I think I've finally found my go to place for everything. I don't want anyelse inside my scooter! Thank you Jeff!!

Nancy Burcham: when R66 closed. My daughter took a spill on the scooter. The engine and carb were all full of oil, and the blinker broken off. Jeff completely cleaned everything out and did a tune up for a reasonable price, and he didn't completely gouge me for the blinker either. I really appreciate his expertise and highly recommend his work.

They’ve even comped a service when there was an issue in order to make me feel valued and not cheated when I had an issue with the scooter.When my Scooter was stolen, i was heartbroken and they ordered me a new one and had it at the shop within a few days.I always feel VIP here and am baffled at the bad reviews.
