Macy Smith: I took the sampler class because I was just starting to explore my love for floral design and now I want to return for more classes! Michael is a wonderful teacher who is delightful and witty while demonstrating and explaining in detail how to create beautiful flower arrangements. He has lots of professional experience and knowledge and can throw together gorgeous bouquets in minutes with ease. Truly a great person to learn from with lots of useful tips and tricks on how to put together stunning arrangements that catch the eye and last a long time. He also encourages students to make us even more excited to work and keeps a light and fun energy in the room. 10/10 would recommend anyone thinking of taking flower classes to take Michaels, I promise you will not be disappointed.

In the 2-day course I learned the fundamentals of floral design. The skills I learned in that short time have provided me with the foundation to move forward in floral and create a style that is just my own. Michael is a fabulous teacher. If you are interested in learning the skill of floral design and business, you have to connect with him.I created the bouquet pictured with the skills that Michael taught me. I have only been doing floral for 2 months!

mia robertson: I learned so much from Michael. He is a great teacher his technique of floral arranging will help at any level. He shows you how to make gorgeous arrangements and really encourages his students. I can’t wait to go back and take his other classes at advanced levels .
Donnie Moves: I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant about signing up for any classes after shopping around and attending several other design schools and seminars and being very disappointed. My husband and I are looking to go into business soon with our own arrangements, it has long been a dream of mine to open a flower shop with my name on it but I am just getting my foot in the door and really didn't know where to start. We attended for 5 days and Michael guided us through each piece, from simple to intricate, in a way that made the intimidating fun and gave me confidence to go out and do my own thing. For those that stuck around for the whole class, he gave us an in depth look into the business side of things and taught us a few tricks of the trade I never would have other wise thought to even consider.Thank you Michael, I recommend everyone come check him out next time he is in town!
Jacob Shepard: Best experience ever. I saw Michael on the Today Show and then found his school here in LA. I’ve been to many classes here always trying to improve my skill. As a woman in class stated, “I spent $5000 in London and 3 weeks with a well known designer and I learned more from Michael in one day!” Anybody not experiencing this was not at his school. So many flowers everyday. Far more than any other school and the way he explains design was magic. I went from OK designer to great designer. Really a perfect experience! Michael is honest, kind, and verrry informative. Wow I speak for the whole class - catch him in LA when you can. Some of my work is featured on his website.
