Clau Anguiano: It is completely free, and has a privileged location in the heart of Hollywood. I highly recommend visiting it, especially if you are a Pokemon fan.There are many unique pieces, and it doesn't take more than 15 minutes to walk through. I recommend the food upstairs.

I would always order the shrimp tempura roll with extra eel sauce and or the vegetable fried rice with no egg.It was so good and those were my favorites! Also comes with a miso soup which is really delicious too! For some reason I completely forgot about this place for about a year or two.On my way home last week I had a strong craving for fried rice. I immediately thought of Wasabi! I ordered it over the phone and went to pick it up. The service is always pleasant. I go in to pick up my food and the same lady that has been there since I first started going there back in 2018 was still there. I love that! She is very kind.I get home and my first bite of the fried rice in about two years or so WAS SO GOOD!!! I cannot believe I went all this time missing this goodness and forgot about it. Oh no never again lol. I try not to eat alot of carbs but I think once a week or every week and a half would be ok.I'm a big sauce person so I put about for or five packets of soy sauce and I use their Sriracha sauce packet as well. My my my it's so good even the left overs are just ask good. So happy I remembered this spot! Thank you!

The woman working was very nice and pleasant and was helpful to ensure that my dairy allergy wasn't a problem.The pork katsu curry was DELICIOUS. Possibly the best I've had. Jade Beverly: I was having a rough day and it turned out all I needed was a good meal. Very welcoming and friendly service with great recommendations. The skewers were so flavorful and juicy and came out surprisingly quickly for being such a full house. The waitstaff is kind and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious. If you’re wanting healthy Asian food with a lot of protein, this is the place for you. They handmade a miso sauce to go with the meat and oh my gosh it is so mouthwatering, fresh, and delicious. You will leave feeling extremely satisfied and not hungry. It’s about the same price as sushi but you’re getting way more protein and way more for your money, not just filling up on rice. This food is perfect for people that weight lift but still want to go out to eat because this place is super yummy, packed with protein, and guilt free. Highly recommend!!

Jolie Sheffer: I was in Little Tokyo for 5 days for work. I went to Monzo twice because it was so good. My favorite was the Uni udon. I wasn't sure what to expect, as I typically am only so-so about uni. But this was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Their kuraage was also delicious. The second time I tried the Mentai Squid udon, which was also very tasty. Service is brisk and friendly. A great place for a date or a solo outing.
Daniel Zhou: Came here on a Sunday night around 7 pm, wait for 15 mins and I was in.It’s a cute little shop that serves good udon. I tried the Takoyaki and it was fine, not great. Little too doughy for me.For the udon we tried the miso carbonara and the hot dragon. I would say that they were both good. Carbonara is very creamy and milky while the hot dragon packed some good flavors. The hot dragon felt like it was more food than the carbonara.Took about 15 mins to get our food so a bit slow but I think they handcraft the noodles so many that’s why it took a while? About $50 for two udons and an app.
Thao V.: I decided to try this place out since a friend recommended it while I was in Little Tokyo. I honestly didn’t have any expectations for an udon place because I’ve had udon at the Marugame Udon chain and expected something similar. Let me tell you that this place elevates their udon to the next level. The mentai udon was easily one of my favorite meals during my trip to LA. The sauce was creamy, savory, and sweet with the perfect balance. The umami from the mentai and shrimp complements the sauce so well. It wasn’t too rich and was just right. I slurped up all of the sauce it was that good. Highly recommend and would come back. Service was also very attentive and kind.

I think in a busy and small place like Hide the staff appreciates not having unruly kids; at least one of the waitresses expressed appreciation for our kids being polite and behaved.
Justin Metz: For a while now I've been coming to Sawtelle and have been meaning to come to Hide. I'm glad I tried it but I'm not 100% sure I'd come back. The sushi was just okay overall. There were a few standout pieces such as the yellowtail and some of the more fun specialty rolls. But a lot of the basics that I love such as tuna sashimi left something to be desired. It was not bad by any means but the cost was higher than I was expecting for sushi of this quality. There are better options in the area but it is definitely worth the try once.
