Not only he is a master in his sport but he knows how to talk and understands each child and how to ensure they have fun while using discipline. We feel very lucky and grateful to have met him and we will definitely do other classes or camp again."
"Don't know how he does it. Give Master Alonzo 3 children or 25, they all seem to love him and love the combination of discipline, respect and learning that he gives to them. And they learn to give back the respect to him and to each other. My 8 year old granddaughter loved it, was never bored (which for her was a bit of a miracle), and she wants to do it again. Rush hour traffic to get her to and from Master Alonzo's camp was worth every minute. I think she will always look back on her classes with him as being part of the joy and achievement of her childhood."

Caron Pelletier: FBTS is by far my daughter's favorite summer camp. She's loved going to their Santa Monica location for the past several summers and is looking forward to it again this summer. She adores the staff and they take great care of their campers. There are so many activities to choose from my daughter never gets bored. It's really the only camp she wants to go to!

He came home happy and full of sand and salt each day! Very personal, professional, and they all care about every kid. They have a lunch program too.

Beyond fun, supremely well organized and run like a well-oiled machine, with excellent, mature staff who return year after year. The owners, Eric & Billie, take great care planning and fine tuning all to make it a safe and super fun experience for kids and no fuss for families. Endless activities for every interest, including lots of well organized and well supervised ocean activities.

We all feel that she is able to enjoy the ocean and safe and taken care of. The counselors remember her from year to year. And the counselors seem to love being with the kids. Overall, a beautiful Southern California experience. We will be coming back!

Jarett Wegner: My son has been attending Fitness by the Sea for the last 4 summers because he just LOVES it! This camp is the best part of his summer. The counselors are attentive and fun making sure my son comes home each day with a huge smile on his face. It is incredibly safe- many staff in the water and on the beach paying close attention to the children. Sunscreen is also applied liberally. There are a variety of activities to do all day ranging from arts & crafts to gymnastics to soccer to swimming in the ocean. The campers are given choices throughout the day - they can be in the sun or out in the water or in the shade, whatever they'd prefer. We’re DEFINITELY coming back!

Kelli Ferrone: Amazing summer camp!!We needed “childcare” while school was closed and enrolled our 4 yo in Sandy Days. It was 9-3:30 even for 4 year olds. I went in with little expectations and it blew me away. She came home so tired and so happy every day. The counselors do a great job of keeping the kids busy and loaded with sun screen. They did age appropriate activities. Highly recommend. We’ll for sure be back next year!

Megan Walker: My two kids have tried several Westside day camps, and Sandy Days is the only one they've truly loved. Most importantly, my hesitant, slow-to-warm-up son is happy there. The director, Sina, welcomes every kid daily, and he consistently hires counselors who are engaged with the kids, sensitive to their needs, and fully committed to them having a fantastic day. I feel totally safe leaving my kids IN THE OCEAN with these people! They've taught my kids how to be safe and have a blast in the waves, and when they don't want to be in the water, there are lots of other fun activities going on. We can't wait for another summer at Sandy Days!!!
Jon Zimmerman: All Year Long, all we hear about is how much our Daughter can't wait for Summer to come..... Sandy Days is her favorite camp and has been since her first day 5 Years Ago. From the camp director to each of the counselors, they are all amazing and make sure every kid is having a great time all summer long and loving their time at the beach. And the best part, the kids get to decide what they want to do!!! What could be better then that???

There’s so many fun activities to do. They also do birthdays and other parties. They have an after school program during the school year. They have a summer, winter, spring, and a two/three day Thanksgiving camp.

Such fond memories.. the flag pole at night..the small sleeping lodges with a row of beds … sinks snd toilets outside. sending and getting letters from my mother while there… and we only lived blocks away😄. Aric Haut: Sports Plus makes the dreaded summer break easy for us. Our nine year old son has attended the last two summers and every day he looks forward to going to camp. There is a variety of sports and field trips which always keep his attention. His favorite is the big field trips on Friday's. He loves telling his other friends that he goes to Magic Mountain, Raging Waters etc. Last but not least, all the counselors are cool and I feel my son is in great hands.
Jennifer Donaldson: My 11 year old daughter attended gymnastics camp for the last two summers and now cheer/dance camp this summer and absolutely loved both. Availability of early and late care to let me work a full day was invaluable! We will definitely be back next year.
