Carlos Hernandez: To all customers , please when you cook in your kitchen do not keep the birds close to the kitchen , everytime you put the pan to warming up , the pan despite an a chemical the one makes the birds sick, so please keep them far away from the kitchen.

We've always gone to Parrott's Naturally in Woodland Hills for food, toys, cages, clippings etc. Judy, the owner and the other ladies that work there are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They boards birds while your away, and have a huge variety of different foods. Even some home mixed that Keeps love. It's about a 20 minutes half hour drive from where we live, but the best place to pick up food that's good for birds. Pricing is fair, and if they don't have something, ask Judy. Suzanne Margolin: After buying two parakeets at Canoga Discount Birds, which one died within a week….and going to the store to complain, my husband came home with 2 more. I was worried that these might die too so I took them to a vet and had all three checked out. They tested their poop, because one had diarrhea. Within a month two of my birds died and we were left with Sky who needed to be treated for his ongoing diarrhea and mites. He had to be treated every 2 weeks from May 1st to August 14th when he got a clean bill of health. We wanted to get Sky a friend so after researching, I came to Birds Plus on Burbank in Van Nuys. I am happy to say after a month already Luna is great and Sky is happy. When you look at the birds at Birds Plus…..they all look so healthy and the owner is so kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store. Luna is the yellow and green one.

tita: Amazon-ing! I took my amazon parrot here to get her wings clipped, nails, and beak filed for the first time. Unfortunately, my parrot flew out of carrier and hit her head on the window. Fortunately, her caretaker did a great job of comforting her. Afterward, her beak, wings, and nails were in great condition. Thank you!
