I’ve seen him do magic for kids and I’ve seen him do magic for adults, and whether you are 5 or 85, Trenton’s magic will amaze and astound you! I especially like his “Coins of India” trick and a trick where he had one audience member pick any card of a 52 card deck, and after having audience members give him enough random digits for a phone number, he called the number and the person that he called PICKED THE SAME CARD AS THE AUDIENCE MEMBER! I don’t know how he does it, but Trenton the Magician never fails to impress a crowd.

Dan Hardy: What a fabulous night! We love good wine, delicious food, and magic so we attended David Minkin’s Magic and Wine Show in Anaheim with family and friends to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed every moment! The delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine made a fantastic start to the evening and I’d recommend doing that, but it was the magic that made the night. We have seen a lot of close up magic and large Vegas productions and David’s show left us shaking our heads and talking about different routines for weeks. Even being so close in such an intimate setting we could not believe our eyes. David’s skill is incredible, his routines engaging and original. If you like magic you should not miss this show!Additionally, David came out for pictures after the show and he is delightfully personable and easy to talk to. It is obvious that he loves what he does and really cares about the audience having a great experience. His entire staff is delightful and the ambiance is elegant. Our group of 10 included ages 24 to 62 and every one of us raved about David and what a unique, memorable experience this was. All I can say is “Go!”.

David Canwell: David Minkin is hands down my favorite magician. He combines three things people love - wine, food and magic in a casual setting! As a fellow magician, it is natural to want to figure out how illusions work and I thought I knew everything about the craft after 40 years of study but David Minkin stumps me every time! I handed him a quarter and he bent it in his bare hands. I have no idea how he did it. I watched him carefully and he never reached into his pockets or used any misdirection. That was 21 years ago and I am still at a loss as I look at the quarter framed my wall.. He levitates cards over an audience and then magically they return to his hand like a boomerang! I have NO IDEA how he does that! His prowess with props and mystical stage presence are without peer. David loves his fans. If you have a picture taken with him, he will post it on Facebook. You could be a tourist from Kansas just passing through LA or an A-List celeb, he loves all of his fans equally. He is authentic and very kind. During the COVID crisis, he performed for kids at the Children's Hospital of Orange County and didn't charge a penny. An extraordinary man of honor and the best close-up magician you will ever see! I guarantee it!

frank paparozzi: Brick and mortar magic shops are getting harder to find. Great ones are harder still. This is a real gem, and that’s coming from someone who grew up hanging out at Al’s magic shop in DC and Denny & Lee’s in Baltimore. We are lucky to have this shop.

He also processes orders in a very timely fashion - orders have always arriven sooner than I expect.If you are considering getting into magic, I can’t recommend highly enough visiting a real brick and mortar store. Mystery and Magic Dinner Theater: My wife arranged this - what an awesome experience! Great close-up magic, great food and drink offerings, and as the finale a stage show from two skilled and funny magicians with a wonderful after show which was by far the topper of the evening... making it all worth the very reasonable price for quality live entertainment. We had an AMAZING time and were very blown away by the magic tricks. Highly Recommended! The customer service and wait staff were also outstanding, which was especially helpful since we were visiting from Arizona. Don't miss out on this must-do experience in Los Angeles!
