All great but all the tee boxes were move a couple yard forward .

Wonderfully kept course. Not long but some tricky holes where mistakes can be easily made. Always a great walk on well kept greens!!

I read the reviews and people swore by the greens and knocked the Tee boxes being shorter due to reseeding. Last time I played golf here I noticed I was double charged. I play this course at least once a week so I brought it to there attention today and they rectified it immediately. Love a staff who are willing to keep their customers happy. So happy I joined their men’s club today.

Course was in great shape, some bare spots on fairway for some holes, Greens are in wonderful shape and great speed at the moment --- but for some reason, fellow golfers DONT fix divets made by their balls landing on the green! Maybe for some reason it's too much work for the golfer hitting a good shot onto the green? Suggesting the staff provide the tool and instruct folks to fix their divets. ... See More

They double charged me for my round. I am playing there on Monday. I will let them know and hopefully they will correct the issue.

This by far is my favorite course. The staff is the best. Shoutout to Julian who makes playing here the best.

Course was in great shape, green we good but very challenging. We walked the course and we ran out of gas on the 16th hole. Did not know there was that much hilly area in Alhambra. Will play it again.

This fairly easy course is one that I recommend to all my friends. The layout is fun with some challenges that keep you on your toes. It usually plays pretty fast and is always green and in good condition.

4worldlovers: The history of the Weddington Golf & Tennis Club parcel is a rarity in Los Angeles, for it has been owned by the same family continuously since the 1890s. The Weddingtons were originally from Iowa, but like many Iowans and other Midwesterners, the family moved to the Los Angeles region to try their hand at farming in the balmy climate of Southern California. Wilson Weddington, formerly a sheriff in Iowa, visited the region in 1890 with his wife Mary and two sons Fred and Guy. On the property that is now Weddington Golf & Tennis the family operated a sheep farm then switched to wheat and finally casaba melons before stopping agricultural operations as Studio City became developed.

Leasing the property from the Weddington Family, Joe Kirkwood Jr., son of Australian professional golf legend, Joe Kirkwood, opened “The Joe Kirkwood Jr. Golf Center” on New Years Day 1956. In 1957, Kirkwood, Jr. sold an option to the course to George McCallister, Sr., a golfer and investor in sporting goods and real estate and his partner and fellow Wilshire Country Club member, Art Andersen, founder of Western Freight and an industrial real estate investor and together they owned and operated what became known as the “Studio City Golf & Tennis Club” until June of 2007 at which time the lease with the Weddington family came to an end. With the promise that the facility would continue to operate as a golf and tennis center open to the public the McCallister and Andersen turned over the business to be owned and operated by the Weddington Family who changed the name “Weddington Golf & Tennis.”
