California Superbike School: what do users think?

Allen Hanford: and making them pretty good. If you want to do better at club racing or just humiliate your friends at track days, CSS is worth every penny.

Jack Jones: Great program. Instructors are on it to help you improve and keep you safe. The 2-Day school rotates two groups with one on-track while the other in class or with coach giving you 7-on track sessions for a busy day.

Alexander Urban: I took the 2-day camp covering Levels 1 & 2 this past summer at Sonoma Raceway. It was PHENOMENAL!!! It was fast paced and they cover a lot of material, but they prioritize safety and never push you beyond your limits. I’d never been on the track before, but each lap I felt myself getting more confident and could see my times going down. I’ve already signed up for Levels 3 & 4!

Jerrell Council: Completed levels 1 & 2 with CSB at VIR, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and plan to take levels 3 & 4. These guys know their craft and are helpful in communicating it to the students. I highly recommend this to anyone on any skill level.

Jeffrey Griffin: I wish I'd taken this school before my first track day. I learned so much in 2 days, and the environment was absolutely great.

Chad B: I highly recommend this class for anyone who rides a motorcycle. You will learn more in 2 days than a lifetime of riding. The entire crew was great

John Robinson: Great school, I learned a ton. Staff and presentation is top notch, the coaches really get excited when you make progress. I've done the school a few times and I'll go back a few more in the future 😊.

Andrew Pittard: Great experience! Have already signed up for more. Johnny was an excellent coach, the staff and instructors are incredible. Learned more in 2 days than a lifetime of riding. Thank you!

Robert Davis: Amazing experience. One word: WOW! And addicting. Just finished Level 1 and 2.The best, coming back for Levels 3 and 4Thx for the trip!

GrandPa West Coast: This “MACHINE” called the “California Superbike School” is just that …. A well oiled machine that keeps you on your toes. There IS NO stand around time being bored and your classes will be filled with stuff “you never knew” ……. And then they slap ya on your bike and practice what you were just taught!!!!I started at level 1 and worked up to level 4 within the 4 days I attended…… the improvement was impressive. There is NO WAY I could have learned this stuff “on the street” or from my favorite YouTuber. You will ride - learn - ride - learn - ride -EAT - ride and learn some more ….. you WILL leave exhausted whether you attend 1 day or all 4.If you are reading this and are even remotely considering attending this school - DO NOT HESITATE to go. When you arrive you will see IMMEDIATELY what you are paying for ……… you will leave well satisfied and start the process of scheduling your next session.Good luck - go get ya some!

Dave Hillsden: Awesome experience. Great coaching!

michael (Motoaddict): CSS is the best school for anyone wanting to improve skills on a motorcycle. Overall the coaching staff has helped me become a much safer and faster rider.

Lee Tippett: Probably the best thing I've done since passing my test to be honest. Everything is so friendly and you learn so much! Even if you only take one thing away from the day you know more than the day before! I would recommend it to anyone and will be doing higher levels next year!

Zac Spencer: This is the best school for teaching you how to ride a motorcycle ever! They will show you things that will open your eyes on how to position yourself and to get comfortable and confident before you even get to the track! I loved this school and want to go back! Coaches were spot on and class room teaching was extremely important! Well done!!

Steve Berde: I’ve completed all 4 levels yet I continue to learnmore with each class I take. Can’t say enough positive about CSS.The entire experience is excellent. They’re very organized. Professional. Fun.The coaches are all highly skilled riders yet they shine in their ability to see what you’re doing and where you can improve.I’m schedule this July at The Ridge for my seventh class.

Westside Motorcycle Academy: what do users think?

A. Chadi: I’ve been trying to get my motorcycle license for a long time and west side motorcycle academy was the best decision I made , the instructors are very helpful Danny and christy are the best I learned a lot from them and very professional if you want to learn more this is the place for you I recommend it 100% on my own risk

W Nicola: After illness kept me off my Gray Ghost for 2 years, a refresher course to get my skills up was in order. WMA is a good choice. Ericka was patient, provided timely feedback and has an enthusiasm I look for anytime I am in a training class. She was methodical in her approach and demo'd all the skill practices. Getting my skills up with this shop was a very good call for me!

dustin Stollberg: Just took their licensing class this weekend and got a ton out of it - great instruction, super rad friendly, funny and really drill everything in well - I am so GLAD I took this class instead of just learning on my own - no doubt I saved myself some future injuries and anxiety due to poor training and technique. Definitely coming back for their intermediate and advanced classes later once I get some practice. Well worth the money - I can't recommend this class and their teaching enough. Thank you!

david stableford: I loved this course!!! This is a great course to take for anyone who is serious about riding a motorcycle and wants to stay safe. I am so glad I took the beginners course as well as a refresher course. I learned solid techniques for handling my bike and strategies for staying safe on the road and feel confident that I am putting them to practice every time I mount up. Thank you Amanda and Ericka and the rest of your staff for your service to me and the community of bikers out there. Keep up the good work!!!

Daniel Boluarte: First and foremost, I rarely write a review about any business, but I had such an amazing experience, I had to share. After combing through the reviews, I decided to take a chance and sign up for the CMSP Motorcyclist Training Course at Westside Motorcycle academy and I am SO GLAD that I did. From the very beginning the instructors were incredibly informative, took the time to explain any questions I or the group had, and made us all feel comfortable. Everyone had a great attitude and a wonderful personality. The class room element of the coarse has a lot of great information and gives you the chance to review it after your time with the instructor. The next two days were the riding course, and my personal favorite. Since I’ve never ridden a motorcycle and my last time on a bicycle was a very long time ago, I was nervous about getting on two wheels. Both instructors were so helpful that I forgot about my nerves and started riding right away! You take things slowly, learn to feel out the bike and your weight, but on day one, I was hitting my curves well. It’s such an exhilarating experience, and as long as you take the time to learn how to be safe, it’s something I recommend anyone do. I think it’s also important to note that there were a great mix of men and women, with some people around 100 pounds, and others around the 210 mark. After I passed the course, I went to the DMV, took the final written Motorcycle test which was super easy after my class. Now that I have my M1, I’m taking refresher courses at the academy to help me with some intermediate techniques! If you have any desire in learning how to ride and getting your M1, this is – Hands down – the place!UPDATE: July 26 2018It had been about a year since I received my M1, which I happily got through Westside Motorcycle Academy, and I finally decided I wanted to start shopping for a bike. Since it had been so long, I really didn’t feel confident that I retained the skillset I picked up during my initial training course. It didn’t want to go through the written class sections, so I reached out to Westside Motorcycle Academy to see what options I had. I was really happy to find out that they offered a refresher course which let me focus on what I was most worried about, remembering and improving my skills on the bike. The experience was much different and definitely better since the class was smaller and we got even more personal attention from the expert instructors. I was EXTRA lucky as the founder of the school helped with the class. We first got time on the course to get my comfort on 2 wheels back, then we started working on advanced techniques which were really helpful. I was frustrated with myself and a bit rusty, but both instructors helped me focus and really perfect the areas I needed to work on. Regardless of whether you are looking to get back into riding after a long break, or just brush up on your skills, this refresher course is a must! I also can’t stop praising the instructors at Westside Motorcycle Academy who continue to make every experience amazing. Can’t wait to go back for my next refresher.

fuchee vang: The course was fun and instructive. I never rode a motorcycle in my life and they gave me the introductory skills necessary to become proficient. Don't be late! You will not be allowed to participate, but the bright side of that is their not out to steal your money they will work with you to reschedule. A few people had to do that in our course. I highly recommend this course to all and thanks westside motorcycle academy for a great experience!

Ian Denchasy (Talk Story): Took the course with my wife and had a GREAT experience. She's never ridden before and came out with a solid understanding of the fundamentals and good basic riding skills. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were happily surprised to see so many female instructors and attendees!

Lloyd Xie: Super useful for refreshing my confidence in riding. I waited 2 months since first learning to get a bike and the amount we forget is surprising! The instructors are super cool and will get you excited about riding!

Mária Zborovska: I have 0 motorcycle experience and just passed the beginners class. Instructors were absolutely amazing, super professional, made me feel OK about failing here and there, encouraged us throughout the whole class, were super helpful and patient with any questions we had. I believe this class is bare minimum that every driver should take. I loved it, had a good time and will totally take their other advanced training courses too!

Bill F.: hiatus from riding. Very nice lady taught me and was patient, concerned and helpful. Remember, this is not a game, this is a very inherently dangerous hobby/skill, and you want good teachers who minimize the risks by teaching you how to ride well and safely. The few low-starred reviews seem to be from people who either cannot handle the truth that they are not cut out to ride, or from people who want a cheerful, smiling, cutesy-wutsey instructor who gives a trophy to everybody for showing up.... Which is great in bowling, not so much in motorcycling. Nobody ever died at the bowling alley.Anyway, my experience was FIRST RATE, and I am going back for the full class.

nick vasquez: and were very patient and helpful providing excellent guidance and instruction... and just all-around good people. Class was fun and was a much needed refresher. I will be back!!

Jay Sea: $258 - that's probably less than getting some preventative xrays and a basic doctors visit or two, or even replacing some parts on the bike from laying it down, or doing something silly

joey durant: This was such an awesome experience for me. The instructors are amazing. I am honored to have had this course and being taught by this team of instructors. I look forward to more training in the advance classes.

Ethan Chen: The instructors are very nice and patient. I learned a great deal about safe maneuvers on a bike.

Mathias McCaster: who wrote it. After reading this company responses and knowing how “consumers” when upset can go on a rant, I now know that I’m coming into this place soon as I get the chance!Thank you for providing feedback for the prospective consumers suck as myself!

Moto Republic - Motorcycle Sales, Service, Gear & DIY: what do users think?

Loring Greene: So sorry to see this fine establishment close. Jeff King is such a a stand-up guy and I pray that his new location will be local.

Jon Killeen: These guys have always been great; friendly, reliable and fast. They will be missed.

Daniel Segraves: The best moto DIY, mechanic, and shop there ever was. As I write this they are slowly closing up shop, so support them while you can.

santaclausutube: Interesting place they have bikes for sale. They have some parts and work base and lifts that you can rent with access to tools in welding pretty unique.

Nicolas Fertray: Passionate people with impeccable service from the pros and cheap labor, thank you, open even on Sundays, and that's really cool, thank you, Frenchie Niko

geovanny cruz: Been coming here to service my GSXR 600 for years now. Jeff is a great owner and person, always very attentive. Their mechanic work is always top notch. The MOTO republic community is awesome!

Kevin Ko: I ride an R nineT and have been going to Moto Republic for years. I recently did a private wrench with Jeff for an exhaust upgrade. We ran into what would have been a dead end for me, but he easily figured out the solution.  He makes the process fun and stress free.  I was very hands on and learned a ton.  Highly recommend!

MyName DoesntMatter: Wonderful place! No one pressures you to buy anything or purchase a service. Very welcoming shop with no pretentiousness. A totally easy going environment, whether you’re new or experienced.

James Gilbert: Great experience with these guys. I snapped the head off a screw in a little car part, they took the piece and made time in their schedule to extract the screw and re-tap the piece and get it back to me the next day. Everyone was chill and friendly. Would recommend.

Victor Bosch: Moto Republic's motorcycle repair service exceeded my expectations in every way. The team's expertise and passion for motorcycles were evident from the moment I walked in. They diagnosed and fixed the issue with utmost professionalism, ensuring my bike was running smoothly again. The level of communication throughout the process was exceptional, keeping me informed and involved. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. Additionally, the pricing was fair and transparent, providing excellent value for the quality of work performed. Moto Republic is my go-to place for all motorcycle repair needs, and I highly recommend their services.

Natt Mintrasak: feel very comfortable in class. They explained the mechanics of chains, sprockets, and the hands-on approach is top notch. I think the most important thing about spending the couple of hours there in the garage was the fact that in the end, you learn more about something you don't normally pay attention to

Glenn Porter: The absolute best motorcycle shop in LA! DIY area has clean spaces, every tool imaginable, knowledgeable pros nearby, and great vibes.

Ralph Navarette: JEFF JENNY FRANCISCO VERY GOOD AT WHAT THY DO I RECOMMEND 1000 PERCENT

Melrose Moto: what do users think?

Jorge Avila: Melrose Motto, has been servicing my 2016 Honda Shadow Aero 750 Motorcycle for over two years now. The owner Chris, is a master mechanic and his technicians are as capable as well. The timelines and quality of their work is second to none. Their prices according to services rendered are competitively to the industry. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. All posses: verbal, people and public relations skills. A Great shop to maintain your motorcycle in tip top shape. I recommend my family, friends and the community at large to, Melrose Motto.

Kenneth Smith: My bike had a problem with the fuel system on a suzuki LS650. I was traveling through town and I needed help getting back on the road. In the same day I called The team here was able to get my ride running smooth again by flushing out my carburetor and took on a few other maintenance requests I had to get me back out on the road!Great service, Chris is very knowledgeable and communicative. The other technicians/mechanics in the shop were very kind and seemed eager to help out.Shop was also very clean and organized. If you need work done on your bike or a quick fix, I'd recommend this shop. Thanks!

Jeffrey NeverJeff: After moving back home to LA from SF with my Ducati SuperSport S in tow, I made the mistake of choosing a local branded Ducati dealership to service my motorcycle. It was from that terrible experience that I moved on and found Melrose Moto. From my first phone call there, which was answered by a friendly, straightforward and welcoming guy by the name of Chris, to now two years later, I have had the same consistently great experience. Chris is communicative, tells you what you will need, what you won’t need and is straightforward about cost. He keeps you informed along the way and has always gone above and beyond what was expected of him. As long as I live in LA, which I plan on being a lifer having grown up here, Melrose Moto will be where I take my motorcycles. I’ve tried many different shops over the years having lived all over CA, but none can beat the experience that Chris and the team offer at Melrose Moto. I could not suggest them more.

Finn Lanser: Very good mechanic! He is very competent and knows what he is doing!

Michele Coggiola: Best spot for serious riders

Иван Рюмин (Хром): Super

superdad ernie: I’ve Ben bringing my BMW s1000xr to Melrose Moto for 4 years now. It is always been great service. Chris the owner is a great guy and easy to communicate and he definitely knows what he’s doing. I definitely trust his work and I will continue to using his services. Highly recommended!!!!

Jeff Goodman: I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a bike mechanic in the area. They did excellent work, are a good group of guys, and took time to communicate in detail throughout the process. I will definitely be back.

Carol Roudillon: Eric is top, genuinely kind but more importantly he will take great care of your bike.Mine is my daily and it came smooth and felt strong on the drive.Definitely recommend, Eric and Ray are great.Carol

Jason Busse: First time customer and already I love this place. Everyone was nice and had great communication. Had a 10k service for my Bonnie and they finished up exactly when they said they would, faster than I expected - plus they washed my dirty bike too! Truly excellent service and I'll be back. Plus their retail shop has the coolest gear. Thanks guys!

Michael Altman: Had them work on my Honda 250 crf.Electrical, maintenance , etc. had the best experience. Great communication, no bull, as promised and very helpful.Only place I’ll take this bike.

Kenny Schelich: Came in to pick up a helmet from the weekend before and Emmett offered to hold my old helmet so I could come back to pick it .when I came back Ray helped me find the best deals for gloves that fit both my style and budget ! I wasn’t shopping for anything that day but it’s not everyday you fell good by shopping with such a great staff. I couldn’t resist highly recommend 5 stars!

Louis Liu: Chris is an exceedingly capable and thoughtful mechanic. Ray and Emmett are friendly and wonderful to work with as well.

Joseph Shin: Been to many bike shops in the area and I think I have a new favorite. Chris the mechanic was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix my bike quickly, I brought in cheap parts and he told me it’s wasn’t worth the labor so I took his honest advice which I appreciate. Ray who was the receptionist was very nice and a cool guy to talk to. He was very good at communicating and when I called and asked further questions he was able to satisfy all my needs. Will be back soon.Service:Engine repair

Kenneth Gatling: This place is awesome. I had the greatest experience, and the guys are very knowledgeable, passionate, and all other great words that can describe this business. My bike is there now cause my starter went out. Can't wait till my baby is finished. You guys are my go-to mechanics, and I highly advise others to bring their bikes there.

Cycle Depot Motorcycles: what do users think?

Mefé Pashié: Замечательные люди и отличный сервис

Louie Louie: 👍

Nicolas Fertray: Быстрое оформление, вы имеете дело с профессионалами по правильному адресу.

Scissor Tiger: Легендарный

Nicholas Matsas: Лучшее.

I M: Отличный веломагазин, где есть все необходимое для ремонта. Еще они продают велосипеды, и их у них много.

Kevin Preston: These guys are the best!

Abram Hodgens: Stayed open late for me and got my chain replaced in 20 minutes. 6/5 stars. Best motorcycle service I've ever had in LA.

Travis Minto: I've been coming to Cycle Depot for years since they open. Always courteous welcoming and took care of many of my motorcycles. Anything from simple oil change to total transmission rebuild on my Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 "Wally". Great crew to deal with. Double thumbs up.

Ride 2 Ride Again: what do users think?

Kevin Contreras: I did 6 classes with Ilyas from October until recently. I can't recommend him enough. He helped me go from wobbling around in the motorcycle to picking up speed and knowing how to ride slow on a straight line with confidence.I felt like I could have used one or two more classes with him, but decided to take a leap and enroll in the riding safety course at Bartels' Harley. Because of everything I learned from Ilyas, I passed the riding course almost flawlessly. Best guy in town. It's worth the money!

Tenby Powell: Great to deal with and a good selection of bikes.

Andra Gunter: I recommend this class to any that is just starting out as a rider. I learned a lot from knowing nothing at all about bikes. Combining this with YouTube makes it easier to understand. Thanks!

François Vella: I recommend if you want to rent a motorbike to visit the surroundings.Ilyas is also a 2-wheel driving instructor. Do not hesitate I am sure that he will be able to accompany you.

David Valtin: Good people, excellent service. Unbeatable prices. I will definitely rent again.

sari alsaeed: I would say he is a great coach, he helped me a lot and made me feel calm and stress free. His way of teaching is great and makes you feel confident and he is very understanding. I highly encourage taking lessons from him.

Ryan Keller: Affordable rental prices, lovely people and was a wonder renting a motorcycle for a few days.

Chad Ritchie: I've been riding since I was a teenager and I've had my motorcycle license for over 25 years. For a handful of years now, I have not had a motorcycle and I am planning to buy another one in the near future. I decided a refresher was a good idea but all the local courses I could find were for beginners and weren't a good fit for someone with experience looking to spend a few hours practicing and getting some tips from a seasoned teacher. Ilyas provided that service. We met in a Park and Pay location and for two hours he had me run through a number of basic exercises. My expectation was I'd simply be getting a quick refresher and be on my way - which would have been fine. The fun part of the training was Ilyas broke me of a bad habit I didn't even know I had. By then end of our time together not only was I completely comfortable riding again, but I also learned something new and was able to put it into immediate practice. I appreciated his teaching style, his constant feedback, and his focus on the details of my riding style. I recommend his service.

Ricardo: and fz09 and every experience is great! There's no large deposit or extra fees, just pay for the day and off you go. I highly recommend them and they even lend you a helmet & jacket.

bert jennings: I highly recommend using there bikes good people and service.

Alexandra Valencia: Excellent service!! Totally recommend!!!

A M: In short words - Ilyas is an amazing, intelligent, respectful & very patient instructor, Will absolutely highly recommend him to my family & friends. After reading tons of amazing reviews I decided to give Ilyas a call & not to go to a group class training school & so glad that I did. I am 48 but really young at heart, last rode motorcycle 28 years ago & mostly rode 70 - 100cc small bikes so I had a fear of heavy sports bikes. I told Ilyas that I am in the process of purchasing a motorcycle & will like to get training on my motorcycle, Ilyas agreed to give me lesson on my motorcycle but suggested to use his instead coz incase if I drop it, I won't mess up my new bike & I felt that was really thoughtful of him & agreed to use his bike instead. Lesson day came & was I nervous. I told Ilyas that I want to learn like I never rode before & saw a smile on his face. Wow! did he make learning simple for me, every step was like crafted especially for me, from sitting on the bike to putting into first gear, riding, balancing, maneuvering, braking, relaxing, he made riding so simple & so much fun that by the end of 2 hours I was riding so relaxed with so much confidence & I was so full of joy, the only regret I had why I didn't call Ilyas 20 years ago.I had booked a haul trailer to bring my motorcycle back after I purchase it & it was about 140 miles away but instead I decided to ride it back & ride I did, about an hour on streets & the rest on freeway. I am really thankful to Ilyas for his amazing teaching skills & the care he puts into teaching, He taught me how to ride again.Anyone reading this, look no further & give him a call.Thank you Mr Ilyas.
