Considering the possibility of vision-related headaches, he ensured my prescription wasn't overly strong. Additionally, he advised me that I won't need to wear glasses frequently, suggesting I trust my intuition regarding when to wear them. He also cautioned against prolonged use of glasses, noting their potential to cause headaches. It’s always nice to feel cared for during a visit to the doctor’s office. Thank you to the entire staff, Patricia, and Dr. Yap for making it such a pleasant experience.
Elena Sy Su: Accepts VSP. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Store was nice and clean. Got an eye exam for the first time in many years. They a lot of modern equipment and did quick tests which was cool to see. I was interested in Ray Ban sunglasses and they had more options than most stores I’ve been to. Had a great experience and would recommend.

Scheduling was easy, great communication, and professional experience. Dr Maureen is brilliant and found that I’ve been wearing prescriptions .25 too strong! She updated me to a more accurate prescription and new contact lenses that are the most comfortable I’ve worn yet.

I had been going to my previous optometrist for 20 years and I won't be going anywhere else after finding this place.It was fast, convenient, pleasant, and I would highly recommend Dr. Jonathan Gording Optometry to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Gording was equally lovely and patient; I especially appreciated how he took the time to make sure that he gave me the best advice for my own needs instead of just suggesting the most popular brands. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in the past 20 years of being a glasses/contacts wearer! I'll definitely be suggesting his office to all of my myopic friends!
Mary Menzel: Dr. Gording takes his time and really thinks about what your eyes need, and then comes up with the right prescription for better vision and more comfortable eyes. I've had vision problems for decades and have seen many optometrists, and I think he's the best.

Laura D'Auri: I had the best optometrist in the world. And then he passed on. But guess what? Dr. Stybel is even better! Another friend and I both worked for optometrists and for contact lens labs. We probably communicated and worked with most of the optometrists in the LA area. Dr. Stybel is the best, by far. I have never seen so well as I do with the contacts and glasses he provided. The office is upscale and the staff is great , very helpful and always available. Dr. Stybel has cases and cases of beautiful eyeglass frames of every type, from RayBan to the best European and Asian brands. Go here. But bring your wallet cause it's not cheap. But then, you pay for the best. After all, it's your eyes.
