Mark Beisswanger: Imperial Party Rentals did a fantastic job setting up for our wedding of 130 guests! It was a difficult venue on the sand at Venice Beach consisting of 19 tents, 13 round banquet tables with umbrellas, and 260 folding chairs for the tables and a ceremony area mid-beach.In the months leading up to the wedding, Maricela capably worked with me to specify and recommend the items necessary to achieve my vision for the event and was always positive when we made change after change. The set-up personal arrived on time Saturday morning, communicated well, and were flexible to set-up per the colored stakes marking the sand. When it was hotter than expected that morning they did not complain. Audrey jumped in to help out when need be. The pick-up at night was done thoroughly such that the sand was left in pristine condition complying with the County permit.I can't say enough how thankful I was to use Imperial. In previous years I have used larger multi-divisional rental companies for large events, but I will always us Imperial in the future due to their personalized care and exceptional performance

Bara Hur: What a nightmare - if it wasn't for my wedding coordinator that vouched for this business and said this company is indeed a real business, I would have moved on to another event rental company. I submitted a quote on April 11.I received a response, and I replied to that email requesting to make an adjustment before moving forward with payment. No response. I sent a follow-up email April 17 and April 21. No response. I submitted a new quote on May 3. You get an email saying someone will reach out between 24-48 hours. It prompts you to give them a call if someone does not reach out after 48 hours. A person never reached out. I call and get in touch with a person. She says she is unable to get to the order that day, so she will give me a call back the next morning to work on the order. I clear my work schedule the next morning to make time for this call - they never call. It is now May 31 - and I give them another call. She said she will not be able to give me a call until after 4pm. The last time I spoke with a representative, she said she would not be able to address my quote that same day because it was after 4pm and after business hours - and then, she never returned my call. We'll see if 7th times the charm. Stay tuned - will update the review after getting in touch, if able to get in touch.UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with the senior manager and received my quote on June 2nd. Having received my review, she reached out directly to me and apologized for my experience. She offered a discount to salve the experience over the last couple months, which I really appreciated. I could tell she was sincere about her apology, and that this is a small business that is dedicated to giving their customers a great experience. They are also aware that they are short staffed and it is making it difficult to meet the demand of the wedding industry following its resurgence, post-covid. Especially given my wedding coordinator's ardent recommendation of this company, I'm eager to move forward with them. Will update again following my experience using their rentals for my event.UPDATE ON MARCH 26: The MTB Event Rentals team have really up leveled their customer experience! I do not wait more than 2 minutes whenever I call with an inquiry or request for support. They are responsive, helpful and I'm looking forward to their partnership at the event!

Lindsey & Dan: We recently commissioned MTB to do our wedding rentals, and we were thrilled with the selection and the reasonable cost – especially the funky, multicolor water goblets that added a unique touch to our dinner tables. Delivery and pickup was totally painless. The people there are all friendly, and they’re real experts who are particularly helpful when it comes time to picking out specific items and colors. We’re giving four stars, however, because it’s incredibly difficult to get ahold of them. There was more than one multiple-week-long period where both of us, as well as our planner, left multiple voicemails, emails, and call-back requests without hearing anything back. It all worked out in the end, but you may have to work unexpectedly hard just to get someone to take your call. Once they do, everything will be great.

They even have a show room you can visit so you can see linens, plates, and whatever else they provide in person. We really appreciated visiting as it allowed us to chat and get opinions and questions answered by their crew. Though we did have to follow up and pursue a few threads of communication with them, they were always kind and prompt. Check them out and see for yourself to make your next event pop with personality!
