Jacqueline Cerniglia Dion: Started getting into film with a point and shoot. Lab sends through high res digital assets in a couple of days via wetransfer. They always pick up phone and are super reliable.
Jeanet Mendez: I love how easy and convenient Berry flash is . Whenever I want to put some pictures around my house, I just upload the pictures I want through berry flash and get to pick them up the same day or sometimes the next day but super fast and easy.
Clarissa Kusel: This photo printing shop is WONDERFUL! After ordering prints online from another location that came out terribly, I had to rush-order custom-sized prints. Berry Flash worked with me 1:1 to make sure my prints were exactly what I wanted, even sampling a print for me to review. I have since gone back twice and would truly recommend using local businesses to print photos as the customer service, efficiency and quality cannot be beat!

They have gone above and beyond for me and I just want them to know that their hard work is appreciated.
Nick Larson: Processed and scanned my film so quickly. I decided I wanted the high res scans instead and they were quick to respond over email and send me an invoice for the difference. Film turned out great!

Palak Shah: .The studio in the lab had a professional camera, and a person who knew how to take pictures. And I was able to get digital copy & prints right away. I believe I was charged $21, if I remember correctly. A few months later immigration asked me to send the same physicals photos and I was unable to get any of pens to work on the backside of the photos taken to write my name & file number. I walked in to the studio recently and the lady was so helpful in getting me to meet the requirements, and lending me a pen instead of forcing me to make new copies. In this world of dying customer service & increasing unjustified tips, I was glad to see an efficient small business thriving in LA. Thank you, again.

At first seeing that it was a mom & pop company, I thought they would be overwhelmed but they really have a system and always been early with my developing and scans. The process was so good that I actually picked up my film camera and started shooting consistently.The major plus is when I walk in, they know my name and actually treat me with respect like a family-customer which is rare in California. It reminds of going to my neighborhood corner store back Brooklyn and papi knows you and your family.

Came to buy some film I needed for class and also for shooting for personal work! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and Angie was so helpful in choosing film stocks and pricing and was able to pick and choose the film I wanted! Overall a great positive attitude and left with a great impression. They do developing & scans as well as other services regarding to photography. If you haven’t been here yet I would definitely recommend them and check them out!

Ji Kim: Chris is running the helm at Contact Photo Lab. Some of the coolest people that I met here at this studio, amazing space to make all your dream photo projects come to life.Contact is the only place I know of in LA where you can get Museum quality prints for your personal and passion projects whether you are a professional and or amateur!
Joab Louis: The prints that i’ve have done at Contact surpass my experience at other photo labs. I really appreciate their attention to detail, quality and customer service. Chris, the head printer, really knows what he’s doing. Love these guys!

Jeff Hewitt: Printing, dark rooms, and scanner rental services. They have a flextight Imacon scanner for rent at $45 an hour, which is relatively reasonable. It's also next door to a bar / restaurant, so you can get some food and a drink after you're done.
Todd Stephens: They may be the only public dark room around but the staff truly is helpful at getting you what you need, and even offering considered advice if you ask for it. For all that goes into maintaining a dark room, they do well.
Boris Och: The best public darkroom in LA. Highly recommended
Cinema-Styles: This is a safe haven for creatives and a place where inspiration is in full supply. The fine people who curate this treasure are in actuality the jewels themselves.

The copy of the digital photo I submitted was not high enough resolution for a quality print. They were very quick to let me know that and gave me some great details on what the size and resolution parameters should be to have a presentable print.I was able to have the photographer send the higher resolution image and the Team from The Actor's Photo Lab took it from there. They did the Headshot crop, set up, chose a great font and submitted back a proof in less than a days time.I made a few tweaks and finalized with them shortly there after. The prints were ready the following day. I pre paid over the phone and my daughter was able to go in and pick them up with no difficulties and said they looked great!I highly recommend The Actor's Photo Lab.

Victoria Vann: Love the option to order less than 25 headshots, that's the main reason why I chose them. Other places make you get a minimum of 25 and from experience, I've never used that amount in a year even having more than 25 auditions. The reality is, casting won't always take them but you should always have one on hand anyway. Also, I know I'm gonna shoot new headshots later this year, so the ability to just order a few of my current headshot is very economical. Great quality, great price and very friendly. BTW, I don't live in Los Angeles. I had it shipped to me with no issues. So happy to have discovered this place, will go to them for all my headshot printing needs.

Started from what is pixel?, how do I enlarge/modify to printable sizes?, etc etc.Of course I educated myself a little first but I called for more questions - Ardy was willing to help me and patiently answered to all of my concerns. Their turn out time is fast & accurate, curbside pick up is efficient, prompt response and customer service is great! I appreciate for having printing service place like this in local area. Though their hours are different than what it says on google - I recommend to call them first before you go pick up.

Brian Stalnaker: Great little spot for fast and convenient photo development and scans. Emailed via WeTransfer within 2 days @ $18 per roll. Is it the finest quality you’ll find? No, but if you’re looking for a simple development, this place is great. No issues with the scans. Customer service is straight to the point; meaning if you know what you’re doing there, it’s great - if you ask dumb questions and make accusations, you’re going to get some pushback. Nathaniel Kaufman: I go here pretty often, have NEVER had an issue. Whereas other labs I’ve had problems with turnaround, people beating around the bush, and last but not least, RUINED NEGATIVES, these guys have never given me any issues - mom and pop shop as stated but their expertise is top notch, you can tell they know exactly what they’re doing.Some labs your negatives will be left to new people who are training and might mess up your roll, had it happen 3 times already to me at different shops. These guys are tried and true.While I can’t speak to the poor experiences people have had in the past, I’ve only had good experiences and have always gotten professionally developed and scanned photos back from them. Great prices for the new film age too.Maybe I’m lucky, or maybe I understand how problematic some of these ‘new’ film labs can be once you look past the vibey aesthetic and know quality and experience when I see it. I think any shop that’s been around as long as these guys merit a reason - it’s because they do great work!
