Everything is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing and diffently refreshing and the views of Los Angeles and it'd neighborhood views are beautiful and traffic wasn't so loud people were friendly and their dogs as well. Highly recommended for beginners and its very easy make sure to bring snacks, wear comfortable shoes, wear a hat and wear comfortable loose clothing as well.

G & R De Visser: Loved this park! We were there for a National Brain Tumor Society 5K fundraiser and it was a beautiful day. Clean park, lots of tables, people setting up for Autism Awareness Day event, birthday parties, a wedding, and lots of runners and walkers of all ages on the trails. It’s nice to get out of the concrete jungle and into nature!

must see places: In the movie " The Searchers " with John Wayne, some additional scenes were filmed in Bronson Canyon in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, and in Elk Island National Park.
Al Lang: The Bronson caves in Griffith Park is known to us old timers as the home of the batcave from the 1960s Batman series. It was my first time there, and it was sad to see that people have abused the resources sufficiently that the Park service was inclined to put up ugly chain link fencing over the entrances to the cave. Although I had to use my imagination more than the actual surroundings, it was a cool little hike up there

Numerous self-guided interpretive displays explain how from 1956-1968, San Vicente Mountain was one of sixteen Los Angeles area Nike-Ajax supersonic anti-aircraft missile launch sites. During the Cold War, Nike sites were located in defensive rings surrounding key urban and industrial areas throughout the United States. This site contained ground-based radar and computer systems designed to detect and track hostile aircraft, and to guide the anti-aircraft missiles that would be launched from nearby Sepulveda Basin to their targets.

Sergio De LA Torre: I love to come here to talk to my dog. It's awesome because it has beautiful views of downtown L.A. It's very spacious. The only downfall would be that there are skunks in the area. Please be careful and respect the land please.

Jose Fernandez: One of my favorite hikes in El Sereno. The hills are worth the effort and the views give a sense of reward. The eastern routes are more challenging than the western routes. They all have ample space for hikers, dogs, and cyclists. Shade is very minimal so I recommend you go early morning or late afternoon if you want to avoid the heat. The park has a drinking water fountain and 2 restrooms, plus some park tables near the start of the eastern routes. Parking is ample with paved and unpaved areas.

Just a five-minute walk away, you can reach a small pond where there were turtles, which was both cute and peaceful. Also, the view of downtown Los Angeles was stunning!
