I can’t exactly explain it, but if you’re expecting eggs or a reasonably close fake egg substitute, you may fee an abrupt and deep sense of disappointment, like a kid who excitedly took one lick of an icecream cone and the whole thing immediately fell to the ground. Like the first time you accidentally let go of a balloon and it flew away. My date happily took my eggs, and the date was incredible, so I left quite happy, just wanted to share my experience. Would recommend this place, given that you know what the menu is about ;

Tony Roddam: Very good. Google Maps said I had not visited in 4 years. Ouch. Used to visit several times a year. The taste and size of the fish portions are the same, but I also agree there is a bit less fish inside the batter. But what are you going to do. Getting less for more has been a thing since forever. And I've tried other fish and chip places and none can match the taste and crunchy yummy batter. I like salt too but this fish has never had much. I also love the Zucchini and mushrooms battered up and fried. Chips have never been anything special, just frozen crinkle fries. I don't know what "authentic" fish and chips should taste like but H Salt has good food. Need spice? That's what the malt vinegar is for, or my favorite the Tarter sauce. Go ahead and double/triple dip. Good stuff.

We had to do a second look when we entered and ask the staff behind the counter is we are in the right spot.We ordered the Classic fish and chips and the fried fish is not disappointing. The chips were a little sad and soggy for.my liking so we didn't finish it. The meal also came with a coleslaw which is OK. The fish and chips also came with tartar sauce which is not too bad and malt vinegar which is the sauce of my choice.The service is awesome though. So polite and genuine.

Ahmed Ali PT, DPT: This place is amazing! This is the go to spot if you want tasty, not overly greasy or salty, well balanced, amazing fried fish. The portion is massive, so do not be thrown off by its price. The French fries are just the way I like them, with a little bit of crisp but still soft and chewy on the inside. Do not sleep on the shrimp po’ boy either, the shrimp are juicy and flavorful. I tried their fish burger this weekend and it was a big tasty meal on its own. This is likely the best non beer batter or cornmeal fish I’ve ever had, and I’ve been in the Midwest, the south, and on the east coast. I drive about 30 minutes to get here and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting a seafood treat. Parking can be a little challenging, but I usually circle the block once and find parking right in front. I’ve been here twice in the last month and will continue to make it a part of my rotation.

The portion size of the fish combined with the fries on the side with tartare sauce, delicious mini dill pickle & the coleslaw was perfect....filling & still asking for more! 😋You have 3 choices to choose from when you order - regular, spicy & a third fusion version. I would recommend the spicy or fusion because, WHY NOT? You can't go wrong with any of 'em!! Go ahead and give this place a shot... It is the @eggtuck itself and the people who cook including the Chefs staff + the person who helps with the questions are all so courteous that you would want to go inside for one more! The place has a rating of 5.0 across multiple channels, something that you can't just make up without great food!
Jeana Allan: fish and chips down in Koreatown‼ This was the crispiest and most flavorful fish and chips I have ever have. My first visit I grabbed the Joon on Fire and the Classic - both had a strong crunchy coating/fry and the freshest, flakiest yet moist fish on the inside. The Joon on Fire had more of a curry flavor/heat to it as well. Chef also makes his own sides including his tartare sauce which accompanied the fish so well. Last night I went back to try his new K-Joon Fried Shrimp Bowl. It comes with smashed fried potatoes, sweet corn, sausage and garlic rice. The shrimp is cooked PERFECTLY and the garlic in the rice has just the right amount of flavor intensity to balance well with the sweetness of the corn and the savory/spiciness of the sausage. I HIGHLY recommend checking him out - he's a one man band doing amazing things with seafood! ❤

Maria Lee: Ordered sandwich delivery from Caviar for my out of town client and myself during a work meeting. I ordered the turkey sandwich and he got the blt. He said it was the best sandwich he’s had in a long time. My turkey sandwich was really really good too. The bread, thin slices of red onion, havarti cheese, sweet ripe tomato and what seemed like high quality turkey meat — it was better than I expected. Portions were good as well. David Pedroza: Today was my first time eating at Chips N' Chicks, and I choose the 3 piece tender two parm garlic and barbecue with garlic parm fries. When compared to other competitors' tenders, they were larger than I had anticipated when it came to the size of the tenders. Including the fries, they were some of the greatest I've ever eaten. When coming here I promise that you'll get the best for your buck! I wholeheartedly urge everyone who thought they had visited the finest chicken restaurant to visit this establishment instead.
