She is a professional through and through, and I was amazed at how well she navigated my little one and I through the newborn photoshoot. Breannah Alexander Oppenhuizen: Ani and her team created a safe and comfortable environment for our family to take photos - and for a family of five that is no small feat, particularly with a newborn. She is an incredible photographer and professionally she has perfected creating the type of environment one seeks when taking intimate family photos. My newborn was at ease the entire shoot and she has an exceptional way of dealing with young babies to ensure they are comfortable and create some of the cutest picture perfect moments through how she positions them and their props. Lisa Wick: Ani is a magician. I had my 10 month old in for a session. The baby peed and cried the whole time. I was certain Ani didn’t get any good pictures, how could she? Baby wouldn’t stop crying. Ani was patient the whole time and really sweet. I was totally shocked at all the adorable pictures she managed to get!! There were so many it took me over 3 hours to narrow down to 20 something. Ani is an artist. Her attention to detail is insane! Book her, but not until after I get my next session booked! She is in high demand. Worth every penny!!
Rosalina Castillo: If you want amazing portraits, Ani is the one to hire. NO DOUBT about it. I am sooo grateful that I went to Ani to photograph my maternity photos and the newborn and family photos. I am a planner so I loved that Ani invested time with me ahead of the shoots to plan all the details: wardrobe, colors, hair etc. For the newborn photos, she even gives specific instructions to follow beforehand to help the baby be comfortable and calm during the shoot. My maternity photos captured the happiness and excitement in a classy and timeless way. The newborn photos I will cherish forever as the captured so much detail that I would have never thought of. Aside from her expertise and vision, Ani is the one to go to because she is unbelievably patient and responsive. Also, the studio itself is wonderful. So comfortable and my husband and I appreciated all the amenities that she offered us during the long shoots. For all the work and time that goes into before, during and after the session, plus the photos that you will keep forever, the price is very fair. So WORTH IT!!!!

Katie Watson: Updating after my 2nd session!After an incredible newborn session with Ramina, I came back for my son's first birthday to do a cake smash shoot! She gave me lots of options and made helpful suggestions to create a cohesive collection of picture setups. My son was a bit more shy and cried a couple of times, but she was incredibly patient and got amazing pictures of him smiling and crying that are absolutely beautiful. The studio is truly set up to be comfortable for all of us, and the outfits and props she provided were perfect.Original:I've been joking that the best investments I've made as a parent so far are Ramina and my night nurse! The session was so calm and lovely and Ramina took great care of my newborn during our Newborn Family session. She knew exactly when to give him breaks, but mostly just kept doing her magic and soothing him when he'd get a little fussy. I got to sit back and relax during the session and enjoy her lounge area which was a lovely chance to eat lunch two handed while my baby was taken care of.The images are beautiful!!! She got all of the types of shots I'd told her I loved from her portfolio with other babies and incorporated all my color requests. I also didn't realize that the 3-4 setups would include different styles and backgrounds so the options she's given me are way beyond my expectations!!

When I searched for newborn photographers Ariel was the only one I found who did natural pictures and who was amazing at capturing the newborn essence in the most beautiful way. Communication in the weeks leading up to the session were prompt, detailed, and super flexible discussing on a call when emails/texts weren't enough. We met her at this lovely hidden garden and the time flew by laughing as she guided us on how and where to pose. The pictures came out amazing and will be treasured for years to come! Definitely considering future photoshoots with Ariel when the time comes.

We had the opportunity to have Matt and Jess capture our daughter’s newborn pictures in April 2022. Our April baby was supposed to be a May baby…but she had other plans. Without a flinch, Jess leaped into action and help to set the new date and time for her pictures. She sent us a detailed email of what was needed and how to prepare. I made a deposit for our family session with his wife, Jessica, during my third trimester. She was very friendly and informative about the session and what we needed to wear. I found it helpful that she had nice white lace tops for the photoshoot because I was stressing out about what to wear.On the day of the session, Matt and Jessica welcomed us to their lovely home. My husband and I are introverts and we both felt comfortable being around them. They are super friendly which made the session fun and exciting. You provide them with the due date and let them know when baby has arrived. Our daughter decided to come almost 4 weeks early and as soon as I let them know, they scheduled the session date. Their instructions are so clear and detailed. Initially, it might seem overwhelming but you realize how great of a system they have. They are on it and it shows! The session lasted a few hours and shortly thereafter, we received a link with the pictures taken. We picked our favorites and Matt cleaned them up and sent them almost immediately.These photos are an investment. These aren't the JCPenny Photo studio pictures that we were used to growing up. We are so happy that we decided to go with Matt and Jessica and that we have these photos forever to remember this time in our lives. Matt and Jessica.....thank you so much!

Not only that, having to admit that and hire someone to do that is just... Awkward... But Heather is someone whom we could rely on to put us at ease with her great sense of humor and accommodating style. To be specific, she did our newborn shoot and was patient with us throughout the process. Babies are unpredictable and as a mother herself, she understood that acutely, in such a way that she anticipated how to adjust the shoot to fit our baby's temperament, letting us know when our various windows of opportunity were for some shots. Her experience is invaluable and the work to show for it even moreso.

Communication was easy as we were able to set up/decide on the details of the shoot with a few short emails and brief phone call.On the day of the shoot, Heather easily coordinated our multiple family members. She both advised us how to take advantage of our environment/lighting as well tailoring her photos to our request.She contacted us about one to two weeks after the shoot to choose our final photos. We did this through a webcam conference call where she patiently went through the shots from the day. She methodically helped us to narrow down our favorite photos with great patience.We are so happy with the quality of the photos and overall experience!
