I was terrified that my baby wasn’t safe and I couldn’t make an appointment anywhere as my medi-Cal was pending, I had just started the enrollment process. It was taking longer than usual and I was already atleast 2months. I went to Obria and they helped me with a grant that paid for my ultrasound that day. It was the first time I saw my son and they were able to make sure he was safe and sound and confirm my pregnancy of course. My son is 2 years old now. I will never forget the kindness of the staff and how helpful they were. They sent me home with clothes and diapers too.

Yasmin Cordoba: I am a very detailed patient and if something is not good I rate it as good I also rate it and this clinic seems very good to me. Suddenly sometimes they put a slightly careless girl or someone in a bad mood at the reception. But it's not something that really affects you. The doctor is good, the nurses are very good, especially María is a professional at her job since my veins are very thin and cannot be seen and she always knew how to take blood samples from the first puncture. And what can I say about the obstetrician-gynecologist, for me he is the best, he provided me with good support and my birth was spectacular. You should not underestimate a place just because they do not answer the phone, the clinic is actually very good and has professionals

A XS: This clinic is a fantastic clinic to go to for free STD testing. It’s a good habit to get tested regularly for STD’s whenever you’re with a new partner, and this clinic is where ya needa be. They accept walkins and are FREE! No insurance necessary. You don’t have to call and make an appointment scheduled for next week, because they accept walk-ins you’ll get seen whatever day you go. However it would behoove you to make an appointment so that you can get in and out quicker. But in the event that you don’t my suggestion would be to show up just as the clinic is opening. In doing so you’ll be able to get tested and meet the Doc without having to wait very long at all, max 10mins wait. Which is wonderful if you have a busy schedule and aren’t trying to wait too long to be assisted by the Doc. This clinic is fast, discreet, and did I mention free?? Hold onto the card they give you, so that next time you visit them you won’t have to do the whole sign in process over. They really do make it quite convenient. The only drawback is their parking situation. The lot gets full hella fast, so that’s where showing up early also makes good sense. But parking in LA sucks in general. This place is a 9.8/10. -.2 for parking.

Receptionist was also very helpful.The best part is they have a small parking lot right next to the building which was nice because difficult parking is something that would stop me from visiting a place.

Cheyenne Figueroa: I’ve been to PHCT for all 3 of my pregnancies. My most recent time just about two weeks ago. This place is truly a gem. They are so so so so kind & so informative. The energy in this office is amazing! Debi & Victoria made me feel soooo loved & welcomed. They don’t try & persuade you to keep the baby if that’s not your choice, they more so provide you with support & information & let you know that if you change your mind they’re here for you & your baby & even if you don’t, they will still be here for you. 10/10, recommend!

Dulce rivera: Great place!! I went to take my pregnancy test and they also did my ultrasound before I could get my insurance transferred. Very amazing women here they are all very helpful and they help with resources there are some very helpful classes they offer and give points to use for things that are needed for baby. I wish I could of found this place for my first 2 pregnancies but fortunately I was able to find them for my 3rd baby and they are great! They check up on you and any questions you can ask very helpful!!

Maddy S: Today was my first day at Planned Parenthood and I went in for STI testing. I was extremely nervous and I have really bad anxiety around getting tests done especially getting my blood drawn. Nurse Karen was seriously one of the best nurses I have had in my lifetime. She was so comforting and personable, she made me feel safe and seen!! I trusted her so much and she got my blood drawn on the first go which has never happened to me ever. If possible, go to her for your healthcare needs! You will not be let down. Thank you Karen for being the best caring and patient nurse around!!

Sigh…hope all encounters with front desk staff could be more understanding .But once you are with the provider, wonderful service…thorough, reviews options, takes their time, thoughtful, warm.Big kudos and appreciation for all staff at PP!
