d anove: I was on the path to surgery for prostate cancer in 2012 when I came across this practice. 12 years later I've had no surgery and the ultrasounds and MRI's have shown no change in my prostate. I'm very grateful to have found this practice and couldn't be happier with Dr. Lam's knowledge and his counseling. My last question each time I see him is about any advances in cancer treatment and he always keeps me up to date should I ever need treatment. The good news: treatment options seem to get better all the time. Also, I have seen Dr. Scholz and can also recommend him highly. You might check out his well reviewed book, "The Key to Prostate Cancer."

Leszek Poppe: The surgery, including the anesthesia, went very smooth and no post surgery pain or adverse effects. Importantly, I could communicate with Dr. Josephson after the surgery by text messages. My recovery was better than I was expecting and I could mountain bike and ski in less than three weeks after the surgery. I am really glad I chose Dr. Josephson and Cedars Sinai for this RP surgery.

I am really cured?I was told, not so long ago, that people with the same cancer I had on my kidney would require surgery involving a large incision in the abdomen to get to the cancer and that one could expect to stay in the hospital for days or more.However, due to new technology and the amazing surgeon, Dr. David Josephson, I entered the hospital at noon, had my cancer removed, and walked out the same afternoon with no pain and no scars to speak of. I went immediately to eat my favorite meal and then went home to find my garden was overflowing with water. Without thinking about it, I grabbed a bucket and proceeded to clear the excess water and then moved on to do some other chores. When I stopped, I recalled that I just had kidney surgery, which I nearly forgot about, as if nothing ever happened to me.My deepest gratitude and appreciation go to Dr. Josephson, who not only made my necessary surgery painless and nearly invisible but who also removed all the kidney cancer so that no further treatment was necessary.

Imaging was done, I spoke with a very competent nurse practitioner then Dr. Ramin who was tired at the end of the day but helpful.Dr. Ramin and Vesalli offer excellent diagnostics and urological assistance. Letecia Myers: I’ve been seeing Dr. Peter Boasberg for awhile now. When I first saw him I was very ill, Dr. Boasberg figured out my diagnosis. He is very knowledgeable and patient. With every visit I’ve had with him, he always makes sure I am okay. His medical staff is always so pleasant and caring.

Fred Gamble: If you have melanoma, this is an excellent place to seek treatment. The staff are medically first rate and personable. They are at the leading edge in this field. I have witnessed healing beyond anything I could have reasonably expected!
Holly Rahn: We cannot say enough great things about this place. Our oncologist Dr. Hamid is incredible. We were referred here for a clinical trial from our physician in San Diego. We also went out to MD Anderson in Texas as well as Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida. Both Dr's that we saw recommended that we see Dr. Hamid too since we were living in Southern California. Dr. Hamid is very personable and when he had to break some bad news about a brain met that had appeared he could not have been any more compassionate. We had already been treated with a few drugs for melanoma and so finding a trial wasn't easy. Dr. Hamid would not go with that. He found something for us that he was able to bring out to Los Angeles and we were the first ones on it. The staff have all been wonderful! So friendly and welcoming. Make you feel like you are part of the "family". It's a easy location to get to. We were mostly treated at the clinic on Wilshire. I would recommend anyone to The Angeles Clinic that has cancer and looking for a team that will fight with you.

Sharon Merritt: I’ve had wonderful experiences at Beverly Hills cancer center. Dr. Chap was amazing. I was diagnosed stage 4 in November 2022. Finished all my scans and biopsy by Christmas and started treatment on Jan 10. All was cleared by end of May. Minimum side effects. I drive over 2.5 hours to get infusions every 3 weeks. Totally worth it. She dialogues with me and lets me have a say in my treatment. The nurses are great. There is a bit of a wait some days! I fired 2 oncologist before I saw her. She’s a keeper!

Dave Balch: Simply put, Dr. Chap at Beverly Hills Cancer Center is our hero. For 20 years she has successfully guided my wife through breast cancer, from initial diagnosis through two recurrences, two courses of chemo, and three courses of radiation. We chose to drive 100 miles each way for Dr. Chap and her associated clinics and hospitals resulting in over 45,000 miles; of course many doctors are closer, but there is only one Dr. Chap. She is dedicated, knows her stuff, fun to be around, and a bedside manner that can't be beat. What's more, her staff is outstanding with a special shout-out to Monica, her medical assistant, who is always on the ball and gets us whatever we need ASAP. Do you look forward to your oncology appointments? We do! There is no doubt in my mind that my wife is alive today because of Dr. Chap. Thank you Dr. Chap!
