Jack Walker: The nicest people in the world! Once when I was a kid, I biked to this area with a friend, we locked our bikes at the corner. When we came back, my friend lost his key... We didn't know what to do. We saw that there was a locksmith here, so we stopped by. He wanted to charge us 100$, to chop our lock, since he needed to close his shop for a few minutes, while he would help us. But when seeing we were young, and had no money, he did it for us, for free! I will always remember his kind favor, would love to repay him back one day, don't know what I would've done without him.

I've heard horror stories about those kinds of keys not working so then I found this lock Smith. Drove up they had my keys cut in less than five minutes. Bright clean shop, professional service, would highly recommend!

Michael Yeh: working beautifully. I will not forget watching him work. He was so nice, very patient, highly skilled. Showed me many little things.More recently, I had a broken Schlage keypad lock. Brought it in. Met Max, who started by mounting the lock on a simulated “mini door” in the work area. He tried a few things and got the lock working. Plus he graciously taught me a few things about the mechanism. Then he re-keyed the lock for me. Total cost: $20.While I was at the store, several people came in, including a property manager with many locks to be re-keyed, and another guy whose massive exterior lock had been damaged during a break in. The staff took care of everyone in a capable and professional manner. This is a really friendly place where you can see skilled experts at work. Much respect.

A short time later I received a call from Paul requesting that I return to the store. He indicated that the repair technician/Carlos Ventura, had opened my safe and found a small box of valuable jewelry. The box was promptly turned over to his Manager, Manuel Cuevas.I had failed to see the small box of jewelry when I emptied the safe. It had slipped to the back into the shadows and had been overlooked by me.Thank you all for the safe return of jewelry which has great sentimental value to me. You were all prompt in informing me of my property and of returning all the items held in the box which is greatly appreciated. I respect and value the honesty of the people employed by Southern California Safe Company. Also the price for the repair of $130 was great!

Rich: . Once I finally was able to install it, the door went up just as described and instructed. I did have issues with the digital lock but that was not Vault Pro’s fault, the lock from Sargent and Greenleaf was defective. They made it right and I received a new lock, which was plug and play, and now everything works great. I love the fact that everything is American made and veteran owned. Please keep up the great work!!!

The safe was built on time and I was contacted as soon as it was available for pickup. I brought back the upper shelf to have the long gun hole enlarged and it was completed within a day and exactly what I asked for. Would highly recommend this company and their products. Narciso Lamadrid: I bought one of my safes about 30 years ago, and still is in perfect working condition. The only thing i have to complain about it is that the inside frame edge is sharp I've gotten hurt a couple times.
Jay Oliynyk: Ordered a vault door with the high gloss finishing in 2023, quality seemed to be great and the customer service rep Sam was very helpful with whatever questions or follow ups later on with the product.Shipping was very well packed and no damage. Only thing I would plan on is longer than expected delivery times, also make sure you have a plan on moving these doors they are very heavy and awkward.

Junk Mail: Overall a good experience with Sportsman Steel. Originally found them just from Google and the owner, Kevin, reached out to me about it after my initial call. I was in contact with Sam, one of their sales reps, and he helped clear some things up, getting set up with what hooks I would need for specific firearms on the safe door. They did a good job of sending updates and what I would likely expect as it's sometimes difficult to buy an expensive safe without seeing it in person. The shipping company was fantastic as well, delivering it into my garage for easy installation, with a great install referral for a guy in my city named Ronnie. Theres certainly something to say about the build quality too - seemed to be very tight tolerances and heavy construction. Nit picky stuff is that the auto lights inside don't always come on without me putting my foot over it and wish they stayed on for longer than a minute or so, and the digital code pad is a little loose. I would still rate it 5 stars due to them going out of their way to get the job done and will likely buy another one from them when need be.
raul medellin: Bought my safe 7 years ago. Door didn’t open on a Sunday evening and I HAD to get into it. Unfortunately had to breach it. Called in to Sam on Monday to explain. They took in the safe, welded it back together, repaired the door, repainted the safe and had it back to me in 7 days. Sam was responsive and kept me in the loop on the progress with calls and photos. Very happy with the customer service.
Kyle Marshall: I purchased my Sportsman Steel safe in 1999. It has served me very well in the last 24 years. Yesterday I could not get the door to open. I have a spinning combo lock.I called Sportsman Steel and my call was answered on the second ring. Kevin walked me through the fix and he stayed on the phone with me while we worked through the problem.After two and a half decades of hard use my combo had drifted one number.I have a new combo now and the lock and safe work like the day it arrived at my house in 1999!That is what I call great customer service after the sale!!Thanks againKyle MMonroe, NC
