The ReCYCLIST Bike Shop for Used Bikes Sales, Tune Ups, Bicycle Rentals: what do users think?

Adam Friedman: Top notch selection and expertise. Thank you to Jim and his team for setting me up with an amazing bike. I recommend The Recyclist to anyone who is looking for ANY type of bike. Exceptional service, I will never go anywhere again.

Jane Skerritt: Very friendly, informative and thoughtful owner. He explained and showed me things about a bike that had never occurred to me. I bought the perfect, prettiest, fun bike from him! Highly recommend for customer service, prices and knowledge.

Jorge gol: Great little local bike spot. Hooked meup with a bike and a lock to boot.

Barrett Brown: Loved coming to ReCYCLIST, Jim was so helpful getting us setup with 2 beautiful bikes. Straight shooter and super knowledgeable!

Josh Levi Rodgers: Jim was fantastic, walked away with 2 lovely bikes. He knows his stuff, straight talker.

Scott Griffin: The ReCyclist, the bike shop that's worth the stop 🚴‍♂️🛒This place is like a treasure trove of two-wheeled wonders. Unlike those big box stores with half-empty shelves, The Rear Cyclist is bursting at the seams with all sorts of bikes. They've got everything - from sleek, futuristic models to those charming classics that'll make you nostalgic for your childhood. It's like a trip down memory lane, only faster and with more gears! But here's the kicker – the owner has a sense of humor drier than the Sahara Desert. You walk in expecting a typical bike shopping experience, and suddenly you find yourself chuckling at the unexpected wit of the shopkeeper. If you appreciate a good pun or a clever quip while browsing for a bike, you've come to the right place. Now, let's talk about the owner's secret weapon – negotiation skills. As I strolled through the door, he was locked in a fierce pricing battle with a gentleman. It was like a high-stakes game of bike bargain showdown. I had only come in for a simple lock, but I was ready for some haggling action! And when it came to locks, they had a splendid selection. The owner was as helpful as a GPS in a maze, guiding me to the perfect lock for my needs. So, if you're looking for a bike shop with a sense of humor, a knack for negotiation, and a lock for every purpose, look no further. I can't recommend The Rear Cyclist enough – it's a wheely great experience! 🚴‍♀️🔒😄

Magda Perez: Excellent service, they explain very clearly, they give you options, they don't pressure you at all, and the kindness is 100%.

Babak Missaghian: Very friendly

Fern Lim: Fernando was so fun and friendly and had my flat fixed in less than 15 minutes, all while chatting jovially with me! My bicycle and I appreciate you, Fernando!

Windi Craudia: Went here for a tuneup as I decided to sell my bike. They went above and beyond. Needed a new rim and a couple adjustments. They cleaned the bike up- great place and pricing.

Jafei Pollitt: Really loved this spot- I wasn’t pushed into buying anything I didn’t want and got to test two bikes in the back. Decided on a Giant bike for a decent price and Jim was so helpful and nice! Will definitely be recommending this place to others and coming in for any maintenance needs!

Ronald McCormick: I've had mixed experiences here, but overall good local shop.

Tonia Brock-Petroshius: Wonderful service and patient experienced staff

Bleu Sanders: Great place to score your latest two wheels...good staff .

dominique “Dmneek” rousseau: This place is the best! There is always someone walking through the door with an unusual request or need. Sure, there are people like me who come here for a bike because there’s was recently stollen, but this place is so much more. You’ll have to come out and check it out. I bet, you’ll be writing your own review once you do. Oh, and ask for Jim. He will listen to what you need and match it in real time, “with a wink and a smile.” He’s amazingly patient and it’s really refreshing to feel like you are working with someone who genuinely cares.

Ren Choroser: . Enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend. Other gentleman working on bikes in back was also very friendly on our way through shop.

Coco's Variety Bike and Prop - Open By Appointment: what do users think?

Dominik Reust: I bought a new gravel bike from Angelo in July for a four week trip. He was super helpful and accommodating. After four weeks they bought the bike back from me at a fair price. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Robin Graven-Milne: Such a cool and unique place for anyone interested in vintage bikes. Thanks to Angel for taking the time to show us around!

Robert Fulton: Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and local. Really great to have in the neighborhood.

Pedro Solis: SUPER ..Great service took my sons bike for brakes and had and great outcome with the service thank you .

Michele Grey: My husband loves them.

Ibrahima Diallo: because my partner had a flat tire so I rode 1.3 miles with my ebike and they gave me a free tire repair kit.

Seth M.: Place is awesome. Variety is the spice of life.

Michael Shifflett: Fair prices, knowledgeable staff and choice used parts for your project bike.

Chris Perez: I wouldn’t mind waiting 30 minutes max but shouldn’t take that long. The 3 brothers by USC took them maybe 15 minutes and also cheaper for the labor cost.

Hector Del Aguila: Very good

M. James Watkins: The best bike shop on the Eastside. Knowledgeable staff who make every costumer feel like a regular. Good prices and good selection. All though I haven’t asked but I feel if they don’t have it they will get it.

Guy V: The nicest people. They take care of you. I bought a really nice bike for my son there and they fixed the brakes after the warranty period for no charge. Bought a USB light and they exchanged it after 3 months when the button didn’t work. No receipt needed and questions asked. Most places would tell you to go through the manufacturer. They also repaired my old mountain bike for super reasonable prices. They’re super professional.

Jose Sotelo: Never been in the shop. Review is for the gentleman that came out and asked if I needed anything which I did cause I had a flat. He sold me a inner tube even though the shop was closed and got me back on the road.

Fran Krause: My favorite bike shop. Great inventory of really high-quality bikes, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and close to the LA River Bike Path!

Capri Sun: 👍
