Hide's Shiatsu: what do users think?

Min Lim: Second time here and it was great. Thank you.

Sawa Kobayashi: Excellent! Definitely be back very soon!

Jessica Chu: Love this little massage shop! I've been coming here for over 10 years and always leave feeling loose and relaxed. Be warned - the massage is no joke. The therapists will find those giant knots and dig in with their elbows, knuckles, and knees until they melt away. They'll ask what your specific pain areas are and then destroy you for the duration, but it's worth it! They also make sure to ask you if the pressure is okay, so there's a chance to adjust if necessary. Parking is in a big plaza lot with lots of spaces.

Vanessa Monique: I had a very good experience and feel better I carry so much stress . Thank u ! I will be back

Samantha K: Very excellent, therapists Sunny and Taro have helped me a lot with shoulder tension. I’ve been here almost 10 times now. The front desk woman is always super nice as well and it’s clean

B Kim: I've been regularly coming to Hides for about 10 years. I've moved over the years and now travel 90min when I'm in need of their expertise. I sit mostly for work and need this to avoid physical suffering. It helps manage my arthrititic pains too

Lorena Ponce: I loved it! Thanks Jessica.

Amanda Park: Love this no frills massage place. They will hone in on your problem areas and get the knots out.

Shawn Karama: Been going there for over 25 yrs ! Great professional staff

Christopher Andrew: The best in the business. Great intuition and very reasonably priced.

Deana Deakin: Best massage in town great prices

Laura Fernandez: I had an amazing experience after being with the worst head and neck pain for a week. I was referred by family to see Sunny. I’m so glad I went. I felt almost instantly better! I can’t express how good my experience was just to say 5 stars is an understatement!

Tasos G: Amazing experience and relief

Shiatsu Alchemy, Brian Ramisch CMT: what do users think?

Phyllis Champion: Customer service is excellent.

Irina Bronfin: I’ve been seeing Brian for a year now and heading into my second year with complete gratitude and appreciation for his work! Brian’s intricate knowledge of the body coupled with his instinctual healing methodologies… is magic! I can’t explain how Brian does what he does… and it really doesn’t matter! He’s my go-to guy for cranio sacral therapy and I’m just so thankful I found him!

Rati Tripathi: Brian is a skilled massage therapist. On each visit, he has helped me identify which muscles are sore.Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, his neighbors had my deranged, obsessive stalker, Rajiv Philip of U-Akron, Grange Insurance and resident of Columbus, Ohio on the phone. The grating, raspy voice of that criminal element joyfully chatting with Brian's neighbor destroyed the benefits of my visit.

Zarah Mahler: I’ll start by saying I’m prone to skepticism when it comes to energy work and some holistic forms of medicine. I’ve had both good and not-so-good experiences with alternative body therapy. I just received my first massage/treatment from Brian and I’m nothing short of floored. My body feels entirely different than it did prior to my treatment with him, as does my emotional and spiritual state. Brian is one of those rare talents you seldom come across who is both technically gifted and intuitively tuned-in on a level that defies words. I am so deeply grateful for his service and will be back without a doubt. What a treasure.

Nikki Segal: . It was the fastest healing i could find before leaving. Post surgery, Brian’s treatment helped treat my jaw and mouth to make sure I was still moving it in order to keep it mobile and to sing properly. I’ve never felt more energetic healing apart from physical jaw relief in my life. He is incredibly intuitive and in tune with the body. I highly recommend Brian’s services if you are experiencing TMJ or have severe lock jaw. Any healing treatment is obviously a process but I can assure you will feel the difference even after just one session. Thank you Brian for your help!

Orit Portogez: Brian is a true healer. I had a two hour shiatsu massage with him twice in the past 2 months and I am looking forward to more sessions with him. Experts are hard to find nowadays, Brian is one of them.

Joshua Ben Israel: My wife had a massage here for her TMJ and it helped her tremendously! Thanks!

Ann Cleary: I became so interested in the alert dream-like state that was happening during our sessions that I nearly forgot what had prompted me to schedule a session in the first place. I went for a total of four weekly visits; after the first two a persistent lumbar ache and a general sense of low energy disappeared. It has now been months and they have yet to return.

Angel: To who ever is reading this, you came to the right place for healing whether it is emotional or physical pain and trauma, Brian has healing hands you can trust, I received shiatsu and craniosacral therapy and reiki total duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, you can hear your own inner voice tell you what you need to work on and that’s the best feeling, set your intention and see what happens. This really helped me connect to my true self and that is priceless... peace love and light 🙏

Nick Kretz: I’ve been seeing Brian for over a year now. He’s an intuitive healer and expert massage therapist. Always grateful for how relaxed and rejuvenated I feel after a 90-minute session. Thank you Brian!

Sean Alexander: Words fail me right now

Sabrina Bornstein: I recently threw out my back and had debilitating pain. Through good fortune, I connected with Brian and after our first session, he had noticeably reduced my pain. I've continued to see Brian and have found such relief and increased movement after each visit. He's incredibly intuitive and able to read and understand bodies in a way that is a true gift. It can be hard to find the right person to do body work, and someone you can trust, when in a state of pain. I couldn't be more appreciative to have found Brian as he's been, without a doubt, one of the greatest factors in my recovery.

Korinne Papalexis: I have been a patient of Brian's for almost a year now and he has truly been such a gift as an addition to my team of healers. I have a Chronic Illness and before Brian, there was only one other masseuse I would allow to touch me and she is halfway across the country. Every single massage I had prior in life left me in pain, for days. I was super apprehensive and not an easy patient; Brian not only was completely respectful of my concerns, he listened to them, he showed that he had researched my disease and different types of treatment that could be helpful and he proved me wrong that not all massage therapists are not for me. When I got to Brian my entire hip, upper leg and butt area could not even be touched without severe pain for at least 2 years, now it's almost completely gone. Brian is a truly great massage therapist with skill and a true gift. He also has wonderful kindness, professionalism and a genuine concern for each of his patients and their needs & pains. I will never look for another massage therapist until Brian closes his doors.

Jennifer Lynn Morse: Brian is a completely gifted healer and body work practitioner. He is very intuitive and super present during each session. I came to him because of a chronic pain that I knew was something deeper, more energetic, and no other chiropractor or massage therapist could touch it. After just one session with Brian and I felt so much better, more relief and release than I’ve had in years. Highly recommend !!

Ben White: Brian is a bulwark of attentive and conscientious professionalism between me and my chronic jaw pain. Cannot recommend enough!

Kaitlin Waldron: Brian is the most intuitive and effective masseuse I’ve ever experienced. He is incredibly knowledgeable but also kind and attentive, taking into consideration your needs for each visit. I could not recommend him more!!

Carolina: I have been seeing Brian for a little over a year an a half and I couldn’t be more grateful for the work he does on me. I have several lower back/hip stiffness that sort of builds up with the time because I work a lot on my feet and Brian knows and understand my body so well that every time I visit him I leave restored and sort of rebuilt. No therapist has ever really focused so well in my issue and Brian found the way to get deep into the problem and release the tension that builds in that area of my body. Not only he is a great therapist, his energy always makes me feel safe and take care of. I highly recommend Brian’s work and hope I can keep it as my therapist for as long as I live in Los Angeles.

Suzanne McElroy: Brian is a gifted masseuse. He can readily accommodate my titanium hip and still get energy flowing. I feel so energized and balanced after my session with Brian. I highly recommend him.

denise kalfayan: First time trying out massage school, I would drive by everyday going to work and wondered about it. I finally went and it exceeded my expectations for being with a student. National Holistic Institute - Los Angeles Massage School: what do users think?

Raymond Joyce: NHI's dedication to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment stood out. They empowered me to explore a wide range of holistic modalities and wellness practices.NHI cultivates a culture of academic excellence and hands-on real-world learning. NHI equipped me with the practical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the field of holistic health and wellness.Overall, the National Holistic Institute's steadfast commitment to holistic education and individual growth positively impacts the lives and careers of its students, nurturing a community of passionate, skilled professionals dedicated to promoting health and wellness.

Favi Camacho: Attending NHI is the best choice I could have made. They have helped me find work I love and join amazing volunteer opportunities since I graduated in 2012.

Side 2 Side: I have always had great massages at National Holistic both Los Angeles and Berkeley.Once in Berkeley I was really looking forward to my 1st Tandem massage. The man at my feet was amazing, and I had to have him change positions with the woman who clearly didn't know what she was doing. Not such a good experience. However, my massages and both my guest that I introduced to the school's massages have all had wonderful experiences.I just wish for today that you were open.

Juanita Rodriguez: I’ve had a great experience at NHI. I’m had way through my Junior year and have learned so much from anatomy, kinesiology, deep tissue, body mechanics, Swedish massage and the list goes on. I’ve enjoyed have different teachers to get different perspectives and techniques. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to start their massage therapist journey!

John Thomas: Wonderful service I love that restaurant

Lorina Hill: I have been receiving massages at “THE NOW” along Ventura Blvd. After a couple months, I finally asked my Massage Therapist where he was trained and he told me, NHI on the corner of Vineland and Ventura. I went there to check it out and attended their open house. I felt at home. I could feel the closeness and good camaraderie among the students. Now, I am one of their students. Although I already have a career in nursing, I felt as though having massage therapy skills, which I love, would be something I look forward to everyday. I love receiving massages. My classmates can attest to that as I always ask for more even when the session is over. The instructors and staff at NHI are awesome. They are all very welcoming and approachable. I am very appreciative of their dedication. They are very supportive toward the success of the students. They constantly check on us and give us updates about our current curricular status and are very accommodating. For example, if any of us find ourselves in financial difficulties, and can't afford to buy food, NHI has a shelf full of dry goods for any of us to eat.Additionally, our school is well known at sporting events. Recently, my instructor organized a volunteer massage for the runners at the LA Marathon. I experienced it firsthand, it was fantastic to be able to help the athletes, and they were very appreciative. I cannot wait to have a private practice of my own and be my own boss!

Elizabeth Alvarez: So i just received a myofascial release session with Lou from studio city, amazing session. highly recommend getting a massage from him.

Ro De La Fuente: Enrolling at NHI has been the beat decision I have ever made in my 35 years roaming this planet. The teachers love what they teach and are constantly learning themselves. The students are, for the most part, compassionate, helpful, generous, and entertaining as heck. I cannot imagine a better place to learn a career that will actually provide what the motto promises: have work you love. This place is like Hogwarts, but for massage, and is just as magical and whimsical as can be achieved in this reality. I LOVE NHI TILL DEATH!

Lorinda Pulido: I've been to several vocational schools including one being a massage therapy program. None of them compared to my experience at NHI. The Mentors and staff care about your paid experience and education. Every instructor pushes you to be successful and prepares you for your future of massage.

Ruzanna Seelig: I am in love with this school! I started my Core program this January, and in just 2 months I can tell that I’m a completely different person. First of all, the curriculum is great, and being very methodical and analytical person who prefers to take in the information from A to B to C, I really appreciate the way the material is presented, structured and explained in both practical and theory classes. Teachers and staff are extremely nice and helpful, and what I love is that they will take their time and make sure you understand everything while being very understanding with you. Hands on experience is like no other! Love clinics, where I get to massage customers and get feedback that I need while in school. On top of that, I already started my externship with spa, which is amazing, considering that 2 months ago I had no experience in massage at all. This school really makes you go into the real world and get as much hands on and networking experience as possible. The energy of school is so welcoming, I wish I could live here. I have met so many great people! Can’t imagine what it will be like by September, when I’m supposed to graduate, looking forward to this moment while I enjoy every single day spent here. Highly recommend to anyone who is considering massage therapy as their profession.

Stefania Zavval: I have been attending NHI for almost 2 months now and I am so impressed with how much useful knowledge I've learned already. Also, I love that we started practicing body work almost right away. The staff has been so kind and helpful, and they always make the class fun! Looking forward to the rest of my time here.

Jacqueline King: This school is very hands on learning. Instructorsw are very helpful . Also they encourage you to do better and get you help when needed. The school and people are very nice and helpful!!!

Hiro Bower: When I came to NHI, I felt inspired by the core program, but I was afraid to enter the field. I decided to continue on through their Advanced Neuromuscular program to help build my confidence. To be honest, I hated the extended program at first. I considered quitting many times, but thanks to my mentors and friends, I felt inspired to continue. I am so grateful that I did. I became a better therapist because of this program, more importantly, I think I have become a better person. More caring and compassionate, more patient with my self and others. I have learned to be a better part of my community, and I love the work I do to give back to the world. If you’re thinking of joining, I promise you it’s not a waste of time. You get what you give, but if you choose to push through the challenges, I promise the people and the program will help you discover a part of yourself you didn’t know you needed.

Jocelyn Menendez: Very welcoming and open , administrators/staff will guide you every step of the way to fulfill enrollment and ensure you reach your career goals .

MELODY BLOOM: Excellent for pain relief

Tomoko Japanese Spa: what do users think?

Xu Duan: Great experience! I booked a 90 min massage with bathing. It was comfortable, private and total professional experience. They serve tea while doing the foot massage and follow my full body massage. The suite was clean, scented, quiet and private. Great room for people to enhance the relationship and have some focus and relaxing time together. Price wise, it is acceptable considering the service they are providing and they offer gifts for you to take away at the end of the session. Will be back and highly recommended.

Wally: Incredible.

Paloma Arias: You will be getting your moneys worth from this unforgettable, above and beyond experience. Tomoko is the ultimate “treat yourself” and a must visit when in Beverly Hills. I look forward to coming back!

Raiza Aaron: If there was ever a time you want to pamper you and your partner/ spouse/ best friend this is the place so relaxing definitely would at least experience this once

Anita Yardemian: One of the most zen, beautiful and clean spa experiences.

Shanna Schindler: Always a great massage

Yoshi: Had an amazing experience, the hospitality reminded me of Japan. From check-in to check-out, nothing felt rushed. The massage was one of the best I've received. The therapist was precise in working on my targeted area. Every movement/technique was intentional and not wasteful as to idly pass time.

Ben Morgan: Fantastic massage! The whole experience was really great!

Tamara Andreas: Been here twice and each time has been amazing. The place is extremely clean and you feel pampered as soon as you enter. You can tell right away the masseuses have been trained professionally. The ginger tea is a nice treat while having the foot massage and if you get the couples massage + sushi, that area is a nice treat. The staff are all very nice and they have their own designated parking which helps on that street.

Anum Tariq: Had a great massage. Started us off with some honey ginger tea, a foot bathe and then a deep tissue massage. Highly recommend !!

Elizabeth Goodstein: Kumi was by far the most extraordinary therapist I’ve ever worked with. She was lovely, unbelievably kind, made me so comfortable, and she has unparalleled talent. I’ve already made two more appointments with her.

Emily Racioppi: No wonder this spa has an incredibly rating! It’s truly one of the unique and relaxing spa experiences I’ve had in LA! I did a 90 min prenatal massage and I could not be happier with the treatment. From the minute I arrived I was completely comfortable, the slippers, the robe, the private room, the delicious tea and the thoughtful details! It’s on the pricier side but clearly for a reason! Highly recommend

YOLO Foot Spa: what do users think?

Nina Beckhardt: Wow. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Incredible. Will be back.

Henry Mensing: and I know it would’ve never gotten found if the folks working here didn’t care. Amazing massage, amazing customer service, great price, 50/10 I’ll be coming back asap.

Ana Julia Fishman: Clean place,I really enjoyed my massage and my husband enjoyed his.Customer service was very professional. And prices were good!

Kristina Pineiro: Always a quality massage!

Emily Arrow: I love YOLO! My fave massage spot in LA by far. They’re great at being flexible with freelance schedules and the massage therapists are intuitive and awesome. Plus a free hot stone massage is included with every massage, which is wild considering their already great prices.

Matthew Graham: Well last nite was greatCindy & Mike are awesome withThe hands & we will be backWe go every week to new messages spots-Fallow me for more great spots in LA -

Isabelle Rossi: Chris was incredible. I really enjoyed my session which felt like the perfect combo of shiatsu and lomi. Very thorough and efficient

Will Hayes: , and you should too!

Jess Scott: One of the best kept secrets in LA. Is it a secret? No but what a way to start a review on google. In a city where massage parlors are as common as donut shops and gas stations it’s hard to know which ones are legit clean professional relaxing etc. Look no further, because while Y may indeed OLO, at YOLO, you can actually get this once in a lifetime treatment whenever you want. Parking is plentiful, the availability spilleth over, the communication great, and the hot stones worth every pebble. My pro tip for you is to remember to use your library voice inside. I once came into the lobby talking like a carnival barker and I felt like a real dummy when I realized there was a sensual stone massage happening mere inches away. The prices here are so reasonable you can and should tip $20+ or more.Update: This is still my top spot. I tried a few others in the area and they aren’t consistent like YOLO.If you want to be truly pulverized ask for Kelly. The receptionist kept referring to Kelly’s strength but I was truly not prepared. Yes it gets to the point where you’re trying to remember your safe word, so if that’s your bag this is your woman! you feel so transformed afterward you wonder if you should really be driving yourself home or phone a friend!
