Nikolaos Skandalis: Some items are on big discounts, some not. The later in season, the better.Entry-intermediate level equipment. Got sli boots, pants, thermals, beanies, gloves over the years. Helpful staff, place is fair.
Chris Alderfer: Came in to get a new snowboard package initially. Evan was so amazing and knowledgeable! However I ended up leaving with a new board, bindings, boots, gloves, goggles and a bib because their prices are so good!

Debbie Myers: I was in the store on Friday when this incident happened and I saw the employees trying very hard to help the customer. The customer Jack Wu was very rude and demanding. I agree with the woman who said it was unnecessary for the customer to call 911. I am in Customer Service and this customer was out of line. Shame on you Mr. Wu. Why would you waste taxpayers money to call 911 because you didn't get your way when there are real emergency's going on in the world? Shame on you! You obviously have zero concern or regard for hard working people and find it amusing to threaten someone's ability to take care of their family by trying to get them fired or arrested, all because you didn't get your way. Shame, Shame on you!
Dannetta Williams: I was just about to write a "raving" review on how awesome and knowledgeable the employees at this store are when I saw Jack Wu's review. I happened to be in the store when this ridiculous "incident" happened. All I can say is that you, Jack Wu, and whomever your companion was were SO incredibly RUDE! I can't believe I over heard you threatening to call 911! Are you serious? The employees that were trying to help you were doing everything in their power to appease you and YOU were completely unreasonable. How dare you threaten someone's livelihood by calling 911 for something so absolutely ridiculousI even thanked the employees for being so professional when dealing with you and your companion. Pay no attention to this unreasonable person. This place is awesome!
John Hirlinger: Niko got me and my husband hooked up with two great sets of gear. Only took us about two hours from the time we walked in to the time we walked out with our brand new gear and headed up the mountain. Great shop with tons of selection and knowledge. Thanks Niko!

josh cooley: I’ve got the foot of an ogre but Derick absolutely went to town on my boots and bent them to his will with skill and precision. Surefoot take the time to make it right and when it comes to boot fitting, their approach is equal parts old school know-how and cutting edge tech. But most importantly, I don’t get rushed out and they make my 119 last fit into the 104 boot I’ve got. Their customer service has won a customer for life.

Robert Lion: Every once in a rare while I meet people who really love their job and care about their customers. From the moment I walked into the door at Sure Foot Santa Monica until I walked out the door I felt like I was the most important person in the world. Ian went above and beyond my expectations to help me understand how to select and fit into the right ski boot. Literally he dedicated a couple hours to ensuring that I had the correct boots for my feet and skiing level. And they fit me like a glove. Along that boot fitting journey I learned everything I needed to know about how to adjust my boots and get them dialed in. I was so pumped up through that experience that I purchased a set of heaters for my Nordica Speedmachine’s. Kudos to Derek for empowering the team to engage with their customers the same way they would want to be treated.

Erick Ely: they did a great job, and cheaper than doing at REI or otherwise.
Eitan Paster: but on the receipt when I picked the skis up there was an extra $30 charge and the ski had a machine wax done on it, which I was planning on doing myself and not get charged for. I also asked for the skis DIN to be at a minimum of 6, but the person working there refused because their calculator said 5.5, which I understand for insurance reasons, but most other ski shops I have been to would set the DIN ti be custom if I signed a waiver, or if I handled the screwdriver myself.
Jack G Haren: They have been here for 30 years for many reasons. Best and only repair shop in the area.
Michael Kayem: Ive been going to Summit for 30 years, Hands down this is the best ski and bicycle store. Staff is friendly, great prices and great work tuning up skis or bicycles. Look no further this is the place!
Matt Eldridge: that the bindings weren't consistent. I brought it back to the shop and they fixed it in ~10 minutes. They were extremely apologetic and gave me a refund that I hadn't even asked for because of the hassle. They clearly care about their customer service. Not sure when I'll need to use them again, but I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
Nathan Tsuji: Incredibly nice and helpful!! I had a bolt come out of the bottom of my clear while on a ride and he gave me a new bolt and checked both my shoes free of charge! Will definitely be coming back here for all my bike needs!
Noah Becker: Jason there is amazing and has worked on our bikes several times, rebuilt an old road racer into a city bike for us for a great price, works on both of our Stumpjumpers, and now helping me with a new wheel set, cassette and derailleur install. Also have had a few pairs of skis mounted here. Everything is done tip top, dialed in and super pro. If you have anything from very simple to terribly complex bike or ski needs, they will have your back.

Sam Ostler: I rolled up with two old road bikes in desperate need for repair in the midst of the pandemic. They were able to tune up both bikes for a very fair price and did it pretty dang fast! Very friendly staff. These folks are working extra hard these days cause of the high demand and are still pumping out repairs and services. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a bike shop that is not filled with egos.

Tianxin Xing: My 8 years old son had great experience over here. Ivan and Corner are very good coaches. Very informative and knowledgeable. Ivan always picks up the phone and is very responsive. He corrected some postures and improved within one session! Recommend to anyone who wants to improve their techniques. Especially during the off season, you can keep practicing and carry over in winter on the snow.
Stars Above Balloons: First time training to be a skier and Ivan thought me the fundamentals. Something that being on the slopes can’t help. He was attentive and very informative. Loved the experience and ready for the slopes.. highly recommend

Christina C: I went skiing for the first time last year and had a huge fear of it, so I wanted to get some lessons in before skiing again this year. I tried SkyTechSport for the first time in January and it is absolutely worth every penny. The instructor is so kind, so patient, and an excellent teacher. He made sure I felt calm and comfortable so I could start to get over my fears and actually begin to shred. After two lessons I’m feeling confident, I understand what boot size I should be, and I’m not stressed out about skiing at all!
Amanda Bain: Everyone in LA needs to try this experience! Connor is such a great teacher and is very encouraging and patient. The ski boots they provided fit great and were very comfortable. I have little skiing experience but picked it up quick and had a lot of fun. Connor was able to adjust the settings to make it easier and made sure I felt safe! This is a unique and awesome experience that I cannot wait to come back and do again!!
Conner Vacca: SkyTech is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in snow sports off-mountain. I worked with their representative, Connor, at the Hollywood location, and he helped me improve upon my snowboarding technique, along with introducing me to skiing. Though I had never skied on a mountain before, Connor helped walk me through the basics, and I was up and riding in no time. I would HIGHLY recommend SkyTech to anyone in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area who is looking to improve upon their existing skill set, or just to try simulated riding for the first time! I’d give 6 stars if I could! Keep up the good work Connor and SkyTech!

So, we went to try this place out and my son Paul loved it. I would recommend Arbor to anyone looking for a skate or longboard deck, and happily recommend Arbor Venice to anyone who is interested in checking out a board. Their snowboard gear also looks great and is highly regarded, but I have not yet tried it personally.

I don’t even ride an Arbor just yet, but I know my next ride will be an Arbor just based on design, and customer service alone. Andy Valencia: If you're the type of person to really value what they buy and rathers spent the money one than twice, this is your store. Pricy items but worth the money for the most part, some items can be defective.

Geoffrey Walker: The fact that they still do ski rentals is definitely a plus. The hoops they make you jump through to rent suck. I have multiple reservations throughout this ski season. When I called to add another weekend to what I already have reserved, they told me that can only be done in person and only if I make an appointment online beforehand. They are about half an hour or so away from where I live, so it will take 90 minutes or so just to see if they have availability for the weekend that I want to add. They would not connect me to the rental desk to find out. An online appointment and a trip out there is apparently the only way I can even see if a reservation for an additional weekend is available to book. Ridiculous? I think so. However, another plus is that whenever I've gone in, the people that work there were very pleasant and helpful.

First time I walked in just to check the place out I ended sticking around for an hour just talking to him even though I wasn’t there to buy anything. I went back recently to get some repairs done on my board, and Rafa and Jeff working in the shop are incredible. Not only were they able to complete my repairs right there while I waited, they answered all my questions about snowboard tuning and gave me some advice on how to do some more minor repairs myself. Highly recommend this shop.
