Alfred Tea Room: what do users think?

AlyssaMerced Lugtu: Ok wait this is one of my FAVORITE Alfred locations because of the ADORABLE pink decor 💖 Just an all around aesthetic spot. They have boba tea and dipped raspberry and matcha croissants ugh just the prettiest pastries!Recommended dishes Peach Blossom, Ice Cream Cone, Strawberry Almond Crumb Danish, Red Nectar, Thai, Chocolate Chip Cookies & Cream, Rose, Raspberry Croissant, Snow Dragon Buds, Clouds & Mist, Classic, Biodegradable Tea Sachets, Italiano Farmshop Sandwich, BF C Iced Tumbler - Forest, Hot Chaga Chip, Iced Golden Milk, Alfred Matcha 100g …

Joshua Koppeis: Got a matcha tea with boba here. Don’t really go to these places much so I had a few questions for the staff which they handled well. Lots of options here plus some vegan and other items if you have dietary restrictions. Cool part of town too.

Jonathan Tuil: Alfred tea to me is like the sister cafe to Alfred coffee, in the prime location in Weho. This Tea room has all the Tea of course but also the matcha and boba options. So for the days or people where we do not want coffee , this is the place ti go and it’s right down the street. It’s always nice to have the option when you want to switch it up or get something other than the classic cup of joe. very cute and has better seating in my opinion that the Alfred coffee and is more lowkey so i love. Enjoy

Kamila Cz: This is the BEST matcha in LA. I always get the matcha in blue and the boba… wow it’s the best in the city . The have a secret menu too try the BHH!!!

Leah Newhouse: If you're a matcha lover, make sure you make a stop at Alfred Tea Room. Several unique matcha offerings, and an adorable aesthetic.

Angel Richards: NIce

Pearl's Finest Teas: what do users think?

Rattana Bowyer: amazing, best boba in LA. We love

Michael Keonavong: Pearls Finest Teas is like a hidden gem I say like, because it is in the famous Fairfax street where allStreetwear retail is located. It also doesn’t have a flashy sign so it’s very low key. Every time I’ve been staff has been so delightful, every boba rista has been knowledgeable and they just make really good drinks. I’ve tried 3 out of their not so sure how many signature drinks they have but all have been different and good ! What made one of their drinks stand out to me is their Los Angeles Dirt drink, it’s so good, salty and sweet and they do it oh so well. Parking is street parking so typical for Los Angeles. And vibes are good it’s a very in and out type of place, but you’re able to chill there. Definitely come here for your authentic boba needs and take a loyalty stamp card cause it’s there for a reason.

Jenny Vu: , but the L.A. DIRT IS A MUST, especially if you're into creamy milk teas. And the boba here is TOP-NOTCH. Just wish they had more seating here because the store is tiny :

Rachael: Really great spot. Love the LA Dirt.

Amanda Buck: This tea room is a very traditional style tea. Great selection of tea! Very knowledgeable staff. Warm and welcoming environment. I love this spot! Perfect gem!

Mark Dorner: Amazing tea, authentic and can not find anywhere else

Ekaterina Ukhanova: Great tea selection and quality

bogdan bakhaev: Best chinese tea in LA. Highly recommend

Sarah Payne: This place is awesome. It's tucked into a small corner of a martial arts spot and SO worth going to. We were greeted by a nice, knowledgeable, and gracious man named Sky who walked us through each tea and a small history of each one. It was such an epic bonus learning about each tea and being able to smell each kind. We walked away with three different types and definitely plan on going back. Highly recommend stopping by this place.

Dmitry Fimin: Best Chinese teas which you can find in LA.Pu-Er is my favorite one 😀

Russell Feingold: Go no further!! Top quality loose leaf tea - leaves from living trees. For anyone interested in experiencing the nourishment of quality tea, from beginners to those with a seasoned tea practice - this is the place in LA!! Thank you Golden Dragon for carrying forth the medicine of tea and honoring it's sacred tradition, blessing the LA community with your care and loving discipline.

Rafael: Great tea and great service

T Tea Shop: what do users think?

Sylvia Stafford: I love the tea and have been buying here for years. Hope they remain open. The product is excellent.

Glen Chung: Great tea advice, wide and well-documented selection of loose leaf teas. I got a year supply of green and oolong and herbal teas here yesterday, after hearing a radio cooking show episode all about teas. I walked here with my dog and benefited greatly from the friendly, expert advice of the sales girl here.

Devon Knauth: Super cute little local owner tea shop In the heart of Farmers Market. Good prices and wide variety of loose leaf teas perfect your your regular tea lover !

Josie Baird: but I was determined to get some tea here so I came back around 12 the next day and was so happy when I saw them open. I got four different loose leaf teas and talked with the woman working there about what I was looking for and what I wanted to smell. She was super helpful and so far all of the teas as super yummy.

Droppedflame oseguera (Droppedflame): Lovely place and wonderful service 🙌

Denise Horton: I am such a huge fan of T Tea Shop, and so are all of my friends. The Mango in Kyoto has been the biggest hit in my office, and my coworkers crave it as much as I do. The cafe is beautifully organized and decorated, and feels cozy for a gal like me to get some work done when I don't feel like sitting at home or in my office space.

Taron Safaryan: Amazing place to find all kinds of tea you can imagine I recommend it

John Huber: Looks nice, few customers; Samples would help, but that's a thing of the past.

TJ LA: The lady was super nice and had the tea we were looking for.

Leah Martin-Brown: , you love the Farmer's Market and you also love Boba... THIS is the place for you!I love getting any of their Iced Teas with the Lychee popping Boba and the Lychee jelly. Super refreshing and less sugary than what you'll find at somewhere like Boba time.Friendly staff who are always happy to recommend type/flavour if you are lost. One of my fave stops!

Pavlo Kosovan: The blond girl who sold us tea was so pleasant and helpful to chose the proper tea. I really like the service. I just got back to Europe and had occasion to try the tea I bought and it is magnificent. Thank you!

Chado Tea Room: what do users think?

Jasmine Clark: Had an amazing time at Chado, our waiter was pleasant and explained the entire experience to us. Me and my friend chose the $38 dollar tea experience that included a three tier food selection including 4 sandwiches each, scones, and macaroons , and assorted tea infused chocolates our individually selected chose of tea , in cute tea pots, and wine infused tea. I told my mother about it and now she wants to visit.

Maya “Neverworld” Plastinina: Such a wonderful place for afternoon tea! The venue is absolutely gorgeous with some seating outside in a nice area away from the city noise. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and yummy. I especially enjoyed the chocolates. And, of course, the tea was amazing: flavorful, fragrant, and plenty. They have a great selection of teas, including herbal / decaf ones.I loved the fact they were pretty accommodating when we requested sandwiches to be swapped to vegetarian ones. Sandwiches were super delicious too!

Harlee Hall: Had the celebration tea service it was amazing! I am allergic to egg and they were very accommodating allowing me to switch sandwiches I could not have and gave me extra butter cookies instead of a French macaron. Tea was great and service was at a good speed it is slower than most restaurants because it is an experience and not them trying to get you in and out. I use a wheelchair and they were very accommodating for that as well!Dietary restrictions: Let them know in advance and they will help you make accommodations if availableWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into the building and they move seats around to make sure I could access the table perfectly

Pearl Cunningham: They have different types of tea, but I recommend the chamomile tea, it tastes so good!

Funnel Mill Rare Coffee and Tea: what do users think?

Deeya Loram: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Delicious tea, and the vibe and smell of this tea house is lovely.

Amanda Martinez: The coffee here is wonderful. Better than groundwork’s, blue bottle, or intelligentsia in my opinion.

Vassili SK: Finished up a tour of LA‘s best coffee shops with this place, the owners were really hospital, and willing to describe the details of their wide selection of coffee and tea. They use traditional techniques as well as modern cutting edge science to extract amazing flavors very high standard of milk steaming, and amazing selection. Definitely recommend the place.

Lucky Smith: Amazing coffee, tea, and customer service. Cappuccino is a must try. JC and Donna are very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Mika Nessa Chandra: , but they brew gong fu style. A traditional Chinese method of tea preparation, the tea is brewed in a small vessel with a low water:tea leaf ratio and for shorter periods of time

Christian Mulkey: Wow.

JP: JC and Theresa are genious when it comes to coffe and tea.The variety of coffee and tea is incredible.💯Matcha tea is freshly ground and I can smell the aroma of the matcha in each sip.💯Siphoned Milan dark roast is excellent!!

NICK MENNELL: Phenomenal coffee though the prices point is high. This little abode is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Santa Monica. I would say the truffle coffee is a must try. Also a great place for a meeting or to get some off-location office work done.

Isaac Bowen: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes

Marcos Cannabrava: Great specialty coffee and CBD coffee also.

Paradocs Coffee & Tea: what do users think?

Jessica: The barista was very friendly, hard working, quick and makes an excellent cappuccino. If you prefer European style coffee you'll love this place. Nice environment, dogs allowed.

Cam Bowman: Great spot ! Kind of a hidden gem, the pastries are next level good. I ordered the pumpkin croissant and it was moist, flaky and so good. Also got a latte which is hard to beat at this price, also good. They have a couple unique lattes and pastry options a few seats inside and the service was fast and friendly. Recommend stopping by

j l: It's welcome to see a great old time coffee barista. Owner-operator Taka keeps patrons satisfied with strong coffee, or coffee to taste. If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. I recommend buying the beans as they are roasted and / or blended by the proprietor.Parking: The parking is both tough to get into based on the busy street and limited in availability.

Ash Naccarato: The coffee, the pastries - unmatched. Single worker up front. Your hard work and dedication to the craft does not go unnoticed!

Will R: best arnold palmer i have ever had in my life it was insane

Deanna Hall: Paradocs’ coffee is tasty and the atmosphere is inviting. The coffee is truly Ethiopian and they sell beans, too. The pastries and croissants are usually out of stock before I get the chance to try them, so I wish they made more or baked more often. All around great shop.

Rose Tree Cottage: what do users think?

Cayla Cauble: I Went to Rose Tree Garden with my family for the first time and we will be back. If I could give 10 stars for service i would. We never had to ask for more of anything, our needs were anticipated at every mark of the experience. The food is delicious and the whole spread is truly a traditional English tea. Edmund and his wife who own and run the Rose tree cottage are the most pleasant business owners I have met. They greet you upon your tea time and check in throughout the tea to make sure everything is perfect while giving you high tea tips. Can’t wait for our next tea!

Rhonda Saunders: Charming. The food, ambiance, and owners Edmond and Mary make this a very special place. Pricey but worth it.Parking: Make sure to get there at least half an hour before your reservation. Parking on Bellefontaine or Pasadena Avenue can be tricky.

Alexis Sheehy: My husband, daughter, and I had a delightful time at Rose Tree Cottage. Edmond's regal greetings set the tone for a royal experience in this elegant tea shop, while Mary's refined baked goods and jam added a delicious touch. The charming decor evokes an English tea setting, and with Janet as the perfect server, each visit becomes a delightful journey into the heart of sophisticated tea culture. After the service, Edmund took “King Charles“ outside to have pictures with us. We left with full stomachs and full hearts after our wonderful experience.Parking: There are a number of street parking spots, and there is a small parking lot.

Mary Grant: An atmosphere of refinement, an oasis of calm, with perfect tea served elegantly. Freshly prepared British scones served by a true British gentleman. For those who thought Edmund was rude, he probably thought you were rude, and did not want to encourage you to return. Why should their home be disturbed at times they are closed? And why should their personal driveway be blocked? Those who expect a noisy, crash in anytime place should eat at MacDonald's.

David Azevedo: Los Angeles is a city of teleportation, and this delight of an establishment is no exception. Stepping inside saves you a flight to the English countryside, where places are not numbered, but named, such as it is at Rose Tree Cottage. Edmund and Mary make you feel both at home but also supremely pampered. Their grace and wit accompany the fullest of tea experiences. Your Welsh Rarebit, Toad in the Hole, and other favorite savories are all here. The freshly-baked scones have nary a crumble. And yes, the tea is delicious.

DRNK coffee + tea: what do users think?

Maria Mitchell: Great taste

C Franklin: Friendly service. After going a few times, they began to know my order: Earl grey latte. Amazing flavor with rose notes! I'm glad to have tried it and now I will order it every time I go there.

Firdavs Davronov: if i go to los angles i will definitely go in..

Michael Smith: Just I'm feeling to go there again because I can’t forget their HoT coffee!

Kelly James: The only downside is that if you're coming here to get something to go, the wait is sometimes a little too long. They are definitely not as efficient as they could be, so sometimes it feels like there aren't enough employees to handle taking all the orders and making all the drinks. They work hard, but waiting 10+ minutes for a drip coffee is a little ridiculous. If you're in a big rush, you're better off just going to Starbucks a block south.

Jane Morgan: Went to this place at around 4pm on Sunday and it was a lovely study spot. Although the "quiet zone" was packed, the downstairs area had a lot of space and was overall quiet. I ordered an oat milk macchiato and it was delicious! The blueberry lemon scone, on the other hand, was very mediocre. I loved that it wasn't too sweet but I did not taste any blueberry or lemon flavor.

Alan Hernandez: Ahhhh this is the definition of a hole in wall cafe it's very small and if you aren't mapping it out like I was you could easily miss it. Though, the place is bumbling with people coming in and out. There really isn't much room to sit so most people take their drink to go. But if you have the chance order your drink in store and enjoy the cafe and the sweet staff there.

Christina Wonder: Great location to meet with friends. Bring your appetite because portions are large. I usually get one for a take out, their espresso is really smooth and good.

Alister M. Robinson: Always super nice. And remembers your favorite drink 🙏💝🎊

And on top of that it is tucked away into this little section of Chinatown. The wholesome chill vibes really hits me perfectly, and on top of that the deliciousness of the alcoholic steeped tea drinks were just fantastic. Rose & Blanc Tea Room & Venue: what do users think?

Elaine Long: tea sandwiches and desserts. Simple, elegant and scrupulously clean tea room. The teas are absolutely delicious, and if you order hot tea, you get your own pot! This is both a lovely spot and high quality tea for the value. I'll definitely be returning here! Do make sure to arrive early, as parking can be somewhat limited in the underground parking lot.Dietary restrictions: I have an almond liquids allergy, and they were very careful in selecting things that I would be able to eat. Just talk to their team if you have a problem. They are helpful in knowing their ingredients and finding alternatives.

Michelle Barnes: , a scone with jam and cream, a cream filled madeline, macaron, and a cup of fruit. They also had a fairly wide selection of teas, including herbal and decaf. I went with Paris for Her, good though not as flavorful as I was hoping, and my friend selected Big Ben. The egg sandwich and scone were my favorites of the bunch. I wasn't as impressed with the desserts. Both madelines were burned and I was not a fan of the macaron, whose filling had the texture of a lemon bar.Vegetarian options: Offer vegetarian tea if requested ahead of timeParking: Small underground parking garage

Nasser Akeel: Nice place

Charlene Morton: Anywhoo, started the night off with my BF with a nice Syrah and Pinot. Unfortunately one of the bottles we ordered was a twist off. :

Abraham Stone: What a cool vibe in here. At first you think you will be hanging out in the front of the house until you are taken downstairs and welcomed to a very large space lit up with so much wine, bars and nooks with couches as well as high top community tables. Great service, they allow you to taste before you buy, and probably should with most glasses being 20+. They offer flight tastings also. It felt like a younger vibe with city workers celebrating an end to their work week. Fantastic vine list and a good place to come for a drink. I'd keep it at that only.

Jayson Lennon: This is a fantastic venue for small events. Had my baby shower here and the staff was friendly, the interior was perfect, and we all had absolutely delicious tea. The location has free underground parking so it's super convenient to show up and enjoy your time here. This is a nice hidden gem and definitely recommend it for small events or just to enjoy a nice cup of tea.

angela c Cook: Cannot say enough nice things about this place.

Ten Ren's Tea Time: what do users think?

Miriam Miriam: My dad introduced us to Ten Ren back in the days when boba tea was just starting to get popular in the U.S., and he would always buy a big pack of individually wrapped green tea matcha mochi snacks from this store to bring home. I love Ten Ren teas and they were known as better quality teas than other trendy boba shops back then.

Joe Abraham: Love this place! The owner is super knowledgeable on tea and hella friendly. Virtually everything from the store and the beverage bar is imported from Asia.

Danielle Higgins: Love this place! The Vietnamese ice coffee is so good-not overly sweet, the red bean milk tea with honey boba is one of the best I’ve ever had. Great spot to buy chai, chrysanthemum, rose teas. They also have bulk teas.

Scott Molvar: Great boba and milk teas here.

Lisa Mary Moreno: They have a lovely selection of loose teas, packaged teas, and gifts. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Lydia Gardner: This place is so calm, it helps me to read, study and finish my college assignments in peace. They have different types of tea, but I recommend the chamomile tea, it tastes so good!

J J: I was in town for a week, I stopped in and got some gunpowder green tea. It’s the best green tea I’ve ever purchased. Whenever I run out I’ll order some more.

James Wan: One of Chinatown's original tea shops and with close relations with other Ten Ren locations throughout Southern California sells some of the finest teas you can find on the market. The selection here is amazing and complete with a large assortment of black and green teas from regions all over Asia. This is also where you will find King's Tea, aka King's Oolong, simply known as #103. King's Tea is a special Oolong blend that incorporates Ginseng. King's Tea is a blend that no cup of coffee will ever equal if you're asking for a pick-me-up.Most folks visit their counter for milk teas and boba, and there is no disappointment here. They brew their tea concoctions and those who actually enjoy tea will even get the tannin that a strong tea will give. There is also an assortment of other flavors too including fruit flavorings and some creative Asian examples.

Dalia Angelica Rea Naranjo: I got some green tea for my aunt in Mexico I was trying to find some good tea, this was the nearest to me and I didn’t really know the area for some good tea. It was closing and I get there maybe 10 min before closing. I asked if I can come in very friendly staff. They let me in and gave me some information as well about the teas.

Shamey Cramer: This is the ONLY loose leaf tea shoppe I frequent. Their lavender tea is the best. Very aromatic.

Paul Bailey: Favorite spot in Chinatown to buy loose leaf tea and Boba drinks. The taro and mango are my favorites!

Grace Wong: Definitely hit the spot on a hot summer day!!! I got the lychee tea with less ice and aloe Vera jelly. So good. My friend had gotten the coconut strawberry cooler/smoothie and that was sweet and delightful. The exterior doesn’t look like much but the drinks are refreshing and there’s seating and AC. Come here if you’re in Chinatown and looking for some cooldown beverages!!

Han Stw: Ok bubble tea
