Anna M.: Reading comments about this ER department I had a fear to go there, but I did anyway. At the arrival I was well taking care of at the admission. Next step a nurse Patricia who asked questions and made very clear that she is a nurse with a talking down attitude. I guess we still have this attitude problem with some of our nurses.Third step was taking vital signs and I was walking inside immediately, no waiting time.From this moment everything was well planned, all diagnostic tests prompt done. Not sure why many of us beds where in the always when there where clearly empty rooms. Perhaps insurance status.. Either way it is HIPAA violation, because doctors discuss with patients loud the diagnoses , medication etc front of all other parents. I had Dr Isaac Baas who did an excellent job and he was friendly had a big smile. Nurse Angel was a true Angel. All technicians were polite and friendly. The only thing that, the both near by restrooms had no toilet papers and hand towels. I take one start off for some female nurses attitude and for the bathrooms conndition. But otherwise the service was outstanding, fast which is the most important in an Emergency Room. Thank you from bottom of my heart for everyone who was taking care of me. Namaste!

Kim Mitchell: , this woman smiled at my sister, unrolled her napkin and handed it to her, removed her food tops, spoke to my sister with complete kindness and small talk for like 30 seconds, gave us both a big smile, told us to have a blessed day, and was on her way. That occurred almost every meal with different people, including the food service director who stopped in her room to make sure she was happy with her food service and could he do more with her dietary needs - WHAT!!! Her food got cold talking to him, and he took it away and heated it up for her. WHAT!!The EVS gal came in to clean our floor with a smile and a cheerful hello, and other kind words, asking if there was anything else she could do to make our stay more comfortable. My sister asked if she could get her another blanket, and she had a new one in seconds. This was not the job of EVS - but this gal was happy to run and get a blanket for my sister, and kept cleaning the floors. WHAT!!I could go on, like the guy at the little snack shop by the front door, who had a smile and greeted me so kindly and happily every day!!! OR the security guards at the front door who I felt like I was becoming friends with, they were so kind to me.The cafeteria staff was very nice, but the cafeteria in general leaves a bit to be desired needs some TLC for sure.My sister is on the mend at a rehab facility - which is a huge difference from her previous digs at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana!! Now the nurse call button is answered within 2 hours

Dr. Moon and his team we’re able to put my knee back together with a rod and three pins in my ankle. I’ve been admitted to the hospital for almost 2 weeks now for pain control and physical therapy. I have a great team that looks after me and awesome staff of nurses with exceptional doctors that do their job I have a orthopedic team that looks after me a pain management team that takes care of me not to mention Dr. Moon and his partners, who at this level one trauma center simply provide the best level one care anyone can receive in this town. Ken: I cannot say enough positive things about this facility.My wife and I are both veterans, and on December 13th, we traveled 4.5 hours from home to the West LA VA hospital for what we thought would be a quick CT scan appointment for her headaches. Little did we know, it would turn into a two-month odyssey.The CT scan revealed a brain hematoma, and what started as a one-day visit turned into two brain surgeries and extensive in-house therapy at the VA.We received top notch medical care including exceptional Therapists, on-site medical staff and neurosurgeons from UCLA working with the VA. These surgeons checked in multiple times daily and were always available to reach.During this incredibly stressful time, while I was busy coordinating her first surgery, I received a call from the LA Fisher House.The staff's kindness and reassurance were a godsend. They offered to make accommodations for me to stay at the Fisher House during my wife's stay and throughout the holiday season.I cannot express enough gratitude for the friendly staff, the warm and comforting surroundings, and the incredible support the Fisher House provided. It truly made a world of difference during a very difficult time.

The bad thing is that there is absolutely no one who knows Spanish and that is the only worrying thing. , but my experience in this hospital is 10/10 😊

Supergirl Toybox: Recently, I got diagnosed with appendicitis and I came to this hospital. The nurses and doctors and very funny, kind and know what they're doing which I really like. They know how to calm a child while doing their job efficiently. Love this place!!
