Maddy S: Today was my first day at Planned Parenthood and I went in for STI testing. I was extremely nervous and I have really bad anxiety around getting tests done especially getting my blood drawn. Nurse Karen was seriously one of the best nurses I have had in my lifetime. She was so comforting and personable, she made me feel safe and seen!! I trusted her so much and she got my blood drawn on the first go which has never happened to me ever. If possible, go to her for your healthcare needs! You will not be let down. Thank you Karen for being the best caring and patient nurse around!!

Always keep quarters somewhere in your bag/car.Checking in at a planned parenthood is always A THING…some are blunt some are kind…i always found it so interesting that they seem to identify as women however they can come across a bit judgy in a moment where the client is already feeling so overwhelmed and emotional. Sigh…hope all encounters with front desk staff could be more understanding .But once you are with the provider, wonderful service…thorough, reviews options, takes their time, thoughtful, warm.Big kudos and appreciation for all staff at PP!

They made me feel welcomed and safe and answered all my questions for me.I had a bad experience with van nuys planned parenthood hood In the past and was scared to go again but this location although it's 40 minutes from me was worth the drive. Gabi Chepurny: Love this location, been going for practically a decade. In recent years they’ve gotten really good about the wait time. I get there 10-15 min early and I’m taken back within 5 min of my appointment time. Great facility, knowledgeable doctors who actually want to help.

Super_Mario: When I had my first appointment, it was good. I didn't really have a problem, and I always got an early appointment, so I wouldn't have to deal with waiting. I do feel like a lot of people end up having to wait, and most times, they're understaffed, so a little patience, and you probably wouldn't walk into any problems. Also, consider that it's in the van nuys area and it's closest to most people.
B A: I had an appointment today and it was a comfortable experience. I was so nervous to show because I’m the type to look at the reviews before going somewhere lol but to be honest all the ladies were so sweet and kind and had so much patience and not just for me but for everyone that was there. Ashley was the one who got me my appointment literally the next day and was so nice on the phone. Fatima was a sweet heart gave me advice and talked me through everything made me feel safe. Thank you Fatima! The doctor there was amazing, super kind and funny too she made the entire experience very comfortable. I will definitely recommend Van Nuys location to my fam and friends. Thank you all so much!
