Sterling spent the time to assess what I was hoping for in a cut, and we looked at some of the photos I brought in and we talked it over. I appreciated his clear communication about what he thought might work well with my hair type. Sterling meticulously and carefully cut my hair and made precise adjustments to give me a cut I feel so incredibly fabulous with. He’s a lovely and cool person to boot so it was fun chatting with him while he worked on my hair. Overall, a 5 star salon experience and I look forward to returning to Sterling at Gamine for my next cut.

Anna Tichborne: and about 9 months ago she put in my first set of extensions. Firstly, the quality of the hair is exceptional - it’s so natural looking and she has so many colors, highlights etc, secondly, Anush’s technique is so good - I’ve had other hair dresser friends comment on how well the extensions are placed and blended with my natural hair. I have no issues sleeping or washing the extensions, sure you need to be careful with them but it’s very easy to do so. I would happily recommend Anush if you are considering getting extensions. You won’t regret it!
Deloies Baskin Boatman: Hello Everyone,I recently got married and wanted that long flowing hair like a princess. However, I was not to fond of the more frequent used methods of hair extension such as sew-in, glued or tape-ins. I tried the sew-in, but the inability to feel my scalp, the tremendous pressure and pain made me remove them immediately. Waste of MONEY🤦♀️. The other methods I did not try, but was not fond of any type of adhesives being put on my hair.So, after several months of research, I came across ANUSH😍 I have fallen in LOVE with her micro-link extensions. First, I am a BLACK woman, and was amazed by Anush talents to work with ethnic curly hair. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER😁The extensions were almost a perfect match to my hair. The quality of the hair was like no other I've seen or felt before. The hair feels soft, natural and very very minimal shedding. The installation was a couple hours. However, Anush put them in so quickly and easy that I couldn't believe I had finished.The extensions are comfortable, lightweight, and feels like my own hair. The wedding was amazing, and everyone loved my hair. They actually thought it was all my hair Also, I love the versatility of hair styles I can do. I am able to wash, blow-dry, curl, flat-iron or wear it up or down. Needless to say, prior to my adjustment, one or two of my extensions did fall out but it did not matter at all.Lastly, I not only appreciated getting great extension work done, but the educated experience about hair care and maintenance with Anush was priceless. Anush specially picked out a keratin formulation that would make my hair healthier without causing any damage. She also took the time to talk to me about all my hair concerns and I confided in her that I had been suffering from hair loss/thinning. She recommended a vitamin regiment, specific shampoo and conditioners, and next generation scalp micro needling treatment with a restorative hair serum to help with the hair loss. 1 month after our first session, and 2 months after starting vitamins, I started to see little hair follicles and was noticing significantly less hair loss. After my second session, I started to see baby hairs all around my hairline and an increase of thickness within my hair. After my third session, without a doubt there is significant growth of my hair at my hairline and throughout my scalp! I trust Anush with all my hair care and recently she dyed my hair the perfect color without using any bleach/damaging products. My hair has never been this healthy or looked this good! 10/10 recommend her services!

I’ve been coming to Anush for years for the Brazillian keratin treatment and haircuts, and since I have very thick coarse Asian hair, she’s able to give me a thinning cut that blends my layers so that it doesn’t appear like a thick “bush” ... I always leave the salon feeling fresh with my new cuts. SInce I moved to New York City, Whenever I’m visiting home I have to drop in to give Anush a visit for my cuts and she’s so accommodating to squeeze me into her busy schedule. I love her because she doesn’t just feel like my hair dresser but my friend as well.

She has experience and she flat out knows what she is doing. She took me from dark brown to the pretty natural highlighted look I have now. I prefer lower maintenance color care and not only did she work with that desire of mine but she consistently gives the same quality results. I’ve done hair extensions, keratin treatments, and then we went through a refining process of exactly what my hair needed to look natural- YES EVEN AS IT GREW OUT DURING THE SHUT DOWN- I had roots but the way she colors it people just thought my hair looked a little darker in photos. Not like a skunk stripe if your hair gets over processed.Covid Update: masks are worn at all times. You must sign a Covid Questionnaire and have your temperature taken, your temperature is also recorded on your questionnaire. I appreciate that she keeps a record and takes this pandemic as well as her clients health seriously. She means business and safety!What I find odd as I peruse reviews is once in a blue moon there is something negative said about her services. I can’t imagine why, I grew up with hairstylists in the family so I know the do’s and don’ts and what quality work looks like- I wouldn’t keep coming back otherwise. But if you are a potential client, I would say use your best judgement. 2020 has brought out a LOT of fussy Karen’s, check their other reviews- are nasty reviews their thing? I’ve had thick hair all of life but as I’ve gotten older, my hair started thinning, getting brittle and more recently started having spots where my hair was falling out. It was debilitating and wearing on my confidence. Anush spent a half hour talking to me on the phone before I even came in. Assuring me that we’d find a solution that worked. She stayed in touch with me and rearranged her schedule to fit me in before my trip abroad. When I met her, I knew instantly I was in good hands. She’s honest, isn’t afraid to express her opinion, and transformed my look so drastically that I feel like a new person. She really cares about enhancing the way you look on the outside and also speaking positivity into your soul. She did microbead extensions that resolved all of my issues. She took her time, made fire I was completely satisfied, have ne thorough after care instructions and even sent me home with a special brush and comb for extensions. She had me come in a few days later for an adjustment and I look and feel amazing. It has done more for my look than any amount of plastic surgery or makeup could. Her salon is immaculate and designed with the bling factor to the max. I get why she had so many celebrity clients on her roster. She also read my energy and spoke words of encouragement to me when I was feeling lost. Her service isn’t cheap and her price varies based on your hair thickness but it’s true you get what you pay for. I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality extensions. She’s the best in the industry, certified and has years of experience under her belt. I’m a harsh critic and only give praise where praise is due. Anush is who you need in your life. Trust me.

His scissor cuts are done with precision and style as he caters to the shape of your head and the growth of your hair. He gave me good tips on maintaining medium hair length and keeping it maintained. He is an expert in his trade and you will be in good hands.

He watches each detail carefully and works fast because of his energy. This was the most exciting haircut I have ever had. He's a professional with years of experience. Outside The Matrix: This Salon is the best!!! It took me my whole life to find a hair dresser that I can trust and that I love going to. Before I found this place I was always jumping around stylists. Russ is truly a gift! It’s been 5 years he’s looked after me, and I also know of many friends that also only go to him now. You may need to be patient for an appointment as he’s in high demand. Erica also does an amazing job and all her clients always look radiant and very happy leaving. I couldn’t recommend them more, very talented hair stylists and always an awesome atmosphere.

I came in for a coloring to bleach and tone my hair and make it as platinum as possible without doing any damage to my sensitive scalp. Ended up taking a couple hours and a small second iteration and we got magic. i was so happy with the entire experience it went by so fast.Not even lying this was my best experience with bleaching my hair in all the 4 times i’ve done it. A few have been nightmare stories so what a relief.The total after tipping came out to 300 which i wasn’t expecting. i looked on the website but i should have asked before and gotten a final estimate so that’s my bad. The quality was worth the price and it took 2 hours so i understood.Overall for hollywood i doubt your gonna find better .
