Mega City One: what do users think?

Abhinav Bhargav: Good atmosphere and collection of comics. The storekeeper knew his stuff and recommended comics as well. I'm definitely going back

mario bustamante: Great place is a small business, but full of everything a collector will love, I definitely recommend this store will be back soon for more comics 😊

John F.: nice staff and nice choice

Ane Højsted: Huge selection, but a bit on the expensive side

Aryeh Avila: This spot is the best value for your dollar when it comes to comics. I have bought many single issues comics, t-shirts, epic collection books and collectibles. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. If you are into comics and other similar material this is an essential place. Their prices make it hard to not go and spend some money!

Secret Headquarters: what do users think?

pop alot: Cool comic store

Natalie Andrewson: Best comic book store for a variety of narrative media needs- I can grab a zine, my favorite manga, a recent small press or mainstream comic all in one place. Really helpful for presents. Kind, thoughtful staff. Best gem on the strip.

Adam Scott Mazer: Great local graphic novel selection.

Jake Grubman: . For me, the few rows of older comics make this tiny shop a gem.

Ale Melendez: New location has so much light! Love it

David Kavin: , but I'm getting used to the new place. It's great to go into a store that knows that there is an audience for comics outside of the mainstream and carries stuff that we want to see. Also to discover a comic, book or zine that is completely off of our radar.

Ramon Alberto Ayala Sanchez: Brilliant

Danica Sheridan: and they go out of their way to make it happen. Fun new neighborhood! Parking's insane so call if you're stuck, they'll figure it out.

Giuseppe: New location is cleaner, seemingly more Apple Store than the previous location which felt more like what you’d expect with a name like secret headquarters.

Wiley Burke: Very cool comic book store. They were very helpful.

Alice Villegas: It's a small shop but it's very nice. I loved the vibe and the guy and the register was very helpful and kind! I'd love to go again.

Patrick J. Adie: Best comic book shop in LA. This is where you go to find the stuff you don't see in a regular comic shop. The new location is super cool!

T: My book arrived today in Near mint condition."Mailman proof" Packaging.Very satisfied. Will order from Golden Apple again.

Fermin Iglesias: Jeff took his tome went through the comic books very knowledgeable

Ace C: There's a reason Golden Apple Comics has been here for years.

Abhinav Bhargav: A very cool store, lots and lots of titles. Definitely a must visit

Eric H: The staff is so friendly, and knowledgeable. Will be coming back.

Sylvia Escobedo: Neat comic book store, very friendly staff and lots to look at!

Inkhaus L: The genius of this tight space is how well the management and staff know thier community! They’re on trend without alienating new readers

Neal Breton: A small shop with a lot of great stuff in it, I always find a little something. Parking is ok for the area and the service is great.

Nativeman94 (Josiah): This place was amazing, I could spend hours looking through so many comics and collectbles. Owner was helpful and knowledgeable. Had to leave before I spent all my money lol

Rod N: Comics more Comics and action figures! Loose and sealed items available. Welcoming atmosphere and quality items. A must place to visit and shop if you're in the area.

Byron Nilsen: Staff is great. Ace is an awesome guy!

Patrick Gealogo: Thoroughly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest!! The best experience I’ve ever had in a comic book / toy / collectibles store! They are equally helpful to newbies as they are to comic and collecting veterans!

AJ Cabalu: Ace is the man! Great shop, sweet customer service and lots of titles from which to choose. Also there is a nice memorabilia cabinet display.

Adrian Yuen: It's a small shop, so they'll limit the amount of people inside. So be patient.

Matthew Martin: Very good collection. They have plenty of the well known collections and plenty of off beat stuff

Nathaniel Vega: Thanks for the comic, It was quite the selection. Love the stores homey atmosphere and a nice taste in music. There was like two reviews lower than 5 stars and they don’t have great reasoning.

Other Books, Comics, and Zines: what do users think?

Jamie Ross: The best ever ever

M. D: It is impossible to leave this bookstore without one or more of it's gems. Fantastic curation; great people.

Ale Melendez: They have pretty much everything, classic, vintage, zines, comics, art books, essays. I’m obsessed

Maria Santos: They served me very well and I liked the menu. Very delicious. I recommend them. There is a lot of space outside and inside and they have free parking.

Gerry Jimenez: Please open earlier on weekends, please? I travel far away and need to trade the train. By the time I’m ready to head back, the store isn’t open. I was there twice, I miss it so much!

Will Hand: Simply the best.

christian ponce: One of the most underrated and well curated selection of books in Southern California.

Matthew Bell: A fantastic, community-based bookstore - unlike any other place in Los Angeles. Everything is really thoughtfully and authentically done here.

Aaron Yarlas: Such a hidden gem! Fantastic selection of fiction and graphic novels, as well as political books and lots of other non-fiction. Many used books were greatly discounted. Highly recommended! Support awesome indie bookstores like this one.

天(1S): Rad, rad, rad spot. Friendly, kind, cool staff. From the contents, you can tell they care about the world, people, and they Get It. I love the zine selection and displays. The surprise bonus — vintage clothing. It’s a pretty paradise. Highly recommend for anyone into reading, art, zines, or fashion. There is SO much to look at, browse, and read here!! Unexpected titles and even Midori art notebooks.

Highly knowledgeable and connected to getting you what you are looking forBig note Cat runs two weekly online shows on Instagram for back issues and variants one show on Monday and one on Friday. Things From Another World: what do users think?

Aishik Ashraf: Lots of cool souvenirs and collectibles. Prices are surprisingly pretty reasonable.

Rodrigo Jorge Silva de Lima: Fantastic store, has lots of options, the prices aren't that good but it's worth it.

Jeff Allen: Cool shop, has tons of stuff, you definitely need to stop here if you come to city walk. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable.

May Zhagro: This store has a lot of pop culture merchandise from different tv shows and movies. If you’re a fan of Ironman, there is a life size figurine you can check out at the store. There are plushies, comic books, bags, trading cards, and even board games with the tv show / movie theme. Everything is neatly organized in their sections within the store.

belloq81: Visited for the first time in September, and was hugely impressed by the variety of pop culture merchandise. Fans of comic books, superheroes, sci-fi, horror, and fantasy definitely should make this a priority stop when visiting CityWalk. I could have spent a lot more time in the shop than I was able to, but being able to pick up a few of the week's new comics was a very pleasant surprise after a long day at the theme park!

Edison R. Zaugg: . But come on, they gotta make a profit too. 9.8/10

Janet Q: Team was helpful and great. So many fun items to pick up. Clothing. Games. Props. So cool!

Mr. Mertman: Pretty cool store. Plenty to choose from.

Claudius “ClaudiusL66” Ellpunkt: The name officially says “Comic”, but it could also be called “Merchandise”.A spacious shop spanning many square meters with a very large selection of different comics and merchandise items. The prices are typical for the industry, I enjoyed shopping here.

nicki juno: Great 😊👍 staff Alsome place if u a toy and nerd geek 🤓 fan of cool fun stuff

David Lindsay: Have action figures now great clean store will be going back in near future

おっぱい: Lots of cool and neat collectibles
