p o: These guys are the best. I"ve rented from this location several times. Unfortunately this rental I was not at my best. My electric rental died, and I called them in a panic. You can probably guess. I will never forget how badly I acted. A couple days later I apologized to the person I spoke with on the phone in person. Of course, I was told they deal with all kinds of behavior all the time; he could hear the panic in my voice, and to not give it a second thought. Friends, I'm telling, you don't want this guilt.

Ann Marie Milberg: Reasonable prices. Easy pick up and return with free shuttle to and from airport. Would have liked clearer instructions on where to meet the shuttle, and it would have been nice if they washed the car before I got it.

Kristin at the desk was lovely as well as the man who showed me to the car. It was inside the Renaissance hotel for check in and there is free shuttle to and from airport that runs 24 hours. The employee said that they did not have a small car for me but could offer me a bigger car for an extra $5/day, but if I wanted to wait an hour I could get it for free if there was no other car available. I was surprised that they didn't have a car reserved for me already as I had already reserved it prior to coming.... I was a bit disappointed in that bit. So, I waited an hour to see if someone had returned a small car. Thank goodness someone had returned one and I was able to get a smaller car. Service was OK, only that bit was annoying, and I have read prior to coming that the service here was not very good as they usually "did not have cars available." The staff at the location were friendly and efficient, getting me in and out with minimal wait time.The rental process was fast and easy, especially for Gold Members. I would highly recommend signing up for their rewards program if you rent cars frequently.The staff were courteous and professional, though perhaps not overly chatty.For a smooth and speedy LAX car rental experience, Hertz is a solid option, particularly if you become a Gold Member.Just a heads up, like most airport locations, Hertz LAX might be on the pricier side compared to off-airport rentals. But for the convenience and speed, it can be worth it, especially if you value your time.

Arman Thompson: I am not sure why this place has only 1.9 stars? Sure it might be small but as long as you book your rental ahead of time like a normal person then you shouldn't have any issues. I rented it originally for 3 weeks but had to cut my trip short for work and they were nice enough to refund me for the time I didn't use it.The two gentlemen at the counter were friendly, and the one who showed me to my car was able to answer all my questions which made me feel better after a stressful trip getting their.I had actually got in late and had to call to make sure I could pick it up later, and they were happy to accommodate.Drop off was as easy as just letting the guard at the gate know your dropping off a rental, and he directs you where you need to go.I have noticed most the times peoples negative reviews is from their own doings and then blaming someone else for their mistake lol5 stars from me! Would highly recommend! Clean cars, looked like most had leather seats, or were upgraded packages.

Mark was very helpful and kind. Check in was smooth, quick, and on time. My requested car was there and ready for me. Return was just as straightforward and easy. I couldn’t ask for more.

Sarah Wilkes: Herbert was fantastic and honest we appreciate all of his hard work and customer service.
K Tann: We had a good experience with this rental company. No complains smooth transaction they even gave us an upgraded vehicle no extra charge. Keep in mind you have to take a shuttle to where they pick you up in a van to get to the location.
Sydney Battle: This place was wonderful. This was our first time in LA and Jr made it amazing! He provided us with great tips as first timers in LA and made the process of renting the car super smooth. Definitely recommend him if you are booking with ACE!
Letra Nicks: Junior is the best, 10 stars give him a raise. Great attitude with a smile even when we were waiting in line, good vibes.
Eduardo Bolanos: Besides, I had to take a different shuttle bus to another location and then take me to their location overall it was fine, I need to mention that when I took the car back, they took me to the airport, I'm not sure it was because it was at 5:00 am . I had to call the number on the reservation page to know what to do because I did not see any shuttle bus at the airport driving by, this is my first time renting a car from them so, I was expecting that. The person who was checking me in wasn't friendly at all and not willing to help. The car was clean no compliant about it.
Rogelio Morales: Excellent customer service. Herbert extremely efficient making renta nice and smooth. Was in and out fast to start enjoying Cali. Rental price was unbelievably reasonable cheap comparede to the competition and did not charge me for any extra hidden amounts. Will definitely use ACE Rent A Car on my future travel opportunities. The unit was a 2022 but ran great and had no smoke trace in cabin. Highly recommend ACE.
