The owner was super nice and helpful, I honestly feel that when coming to a small business that's owned by a well groomed professional can make a difference. I found many things from water treatment that aren't available in petco or petsmart! Found a spinge filter that wasn't available in petsmart or petco! Found the availability of frozen fish food as well!!! Super happy and pleased. My experience shopping here and being help from the needs I needed was great!!! I try to avoid buying stuff from Amazon because in the end businesses like these beed our help to keep the local economy going. Will be coming back again!!

Ed Parry: Guys this is worth it. And a very helpful a nice selection of reptiles here feeder mice for those of us that need them. It is a little hard to find but I'll tell you how to do it. After Tarzana Medical Center and the rehab station you're going to see a couple driveways that are commercial looking you turn in one of those and you go all the way to the back and the painted reptile is in the back. Now I took the second one so I made a left to get to it but if you make the first one and you make a right and all it has is a sign about the size of a for sale sign on a house that says the painted reptile and in the unit number. The people there are very helpful and patient and I was very pleased with my visit. I got two Hoppers for my king snake and I was only like $3 in change so a very reasonable as well. But this is the place to go for your reptile needs on this side of the valley or that side of the valley. And the ride there was nice I just want a Burbank on next to the parks there and it was really a nice ride but it's really on Oxnard just passed Reseda West of Reseda and then you'll pass the Tarzana Medical Center and then the rehab center in the medical center and then you'll see some commercial stuff and you make a left right there and it's all the way to the back. They go check them out they got some nice looking reptiles.

Blake Scott: One of my favorite local shops. I go here for aquatic life. Their animal enclosures are clean, and the animals are healthy. The owners are highly knowledgeable, and are always quick to recommend the best choices for my aquatic life systems... Even at the expense of encouraging me not to buy what I have my heart set on, and instead recommending a more appropriate choice. They're clearly not focused on just making sales, they're focused on providing happy and healthy life. They've always done right by me, so I shop here with confidence.

For reptiles, they have some unusual stuff that they breed in house. I picked up a pair of CBB bynoe geckos and a tank for them as well as some random supplies. They carry Pangea products. Fair prices and a good selection. Couldn't be happier with the experience I had today.

I gave them a call just to see if maybe there’s any chance they can help me until I went to see the vet and I am so happy I did. I got so much honest information so much help from Rusty. I know it was hard for him not being able to help me in person, but he really did an amazing job, explaining everything through the phone and helping me with my tortoise, and understanding her a bit more than what the Internet provides. Unfortunately, since I don’t live close, I wouldn’t be able to go in but if I ever do need anything, or some kind of advice from them. About my tortoise they will be the first. I would call thank you again for all your help.! Thank you rusty !
