Since December 2019 I have done a 10-week group program, a 2-week accelerated group program, and weekly private lessons. There is an option for every time and financial commitment.I have to commend Coucou on quickly adapting to distance/online-learning in response to Covid-19. I went from in-person learning to online without any trouble or inconvenience at all. They are very flexible with your needs and provide a lot of support in helping you reach your goals. They have been very inclusive on how they run their school and have made my classes very fun and engaging. Being in Cynthia's class is a delight as she brings a lot of personality to her method of teaching and is patient with every student to make each lesson fun and worth your time and money. I find the Coucou approach engaging, practical, and effective- I saw great results in just a few months. The vibe is fun & low pressure- you can put as much work into it as you want or can based on your schedule- and will see results accordingly. Beyond classes, they host some really great cultural events that bring the Community together around French language. Everything I’ve attended has been tastefully put together and always a good time. In terms of teachers, I really love learning with Cynthia, but all of the instructors are super knowledgeable and patient.

He's comes highly recommended by other criminal defense lawyers and those in the legal profession. His fees are extremely reasonable as well.

Rachel Gariepy: I have really enjoyed taking class with La Petite Ecole Française. Caroline is very clear and takes her time to make sure everyone in the class is comprehending each lesson. It's nice to have a weekly reason to speak French with other people and I appreciate that the homework isn't too time consuming.

Angela Kalinowski: Very well organized and amazing language school. I originally started a few years ago taking Portuguese with a lovely teacher named Cristiane. Now recently started Spanish class. All classes are small so you feel like it is almost private but with the bonus that you can interact in your language of choice w classmates. Nuo XU: I learned very basic ​French several years ago and lately I decided to pick up this habit. I feel I'm quite lucky to find "Speak It Like A Native" and to learn French with Angélique, this is a totally fun and fulfilling experience.There are two highlights I feel it's super beneficial to beginners like me:1. The pronunciation. French pronunciation is quite tricky for me and Angélique has a wonderful series of pronunciation lessons for that. From vowels, consonants, nasal sounds to liaisons and tones, the most amazing part is she can reverse-engineer the pronunciation rules which are taken granted by the native speakers and make you understand all the underlying subtleties. These things take years to figure out if no one elaborates.2. The learning materials are fun and well-organized. It basically covers listen/speak/read/write equally and usually it provides a basic concept and gradually add​s more and more complexity to it so you won't feel overwhelmed. The assignments make sure each concept is well-digested so you can build up solid fundamentals. In a conversation session, you will feel thrilled to ​​try to understand​ the question and​ use what you learned to compose the response.So far I'm satisfied with my progress, I enjoy my journey and am looking forward to my lesson every week. I think the best way to seriously learn a new language is to find a private 1-on-1 lesson as it requires constant exposure and effort. Unlike a typical school class with a generic French book, she has crafted a unique lesson plan over decades to fully and accurately teach you French. Since it's essentially her crafted book, she's able to really adapt her teaching style to your skill sets, even if you aren't starting from scratch. She can intelligently build you a strong functional base of French, that you can truly build off of rather than just learning phrases or generic French.
