Le Petit Gan International Preschool Los Angeles: what do users think?

Hilary Wagner: We are so happy we decided to send our 2-year old to Le Petit. It's clear our kid loves it. When we're slow to get out of the house in the morning, he urges us toward the door, imploring "school! school!" And then he comes home, singing songs and counting in other languages -- things he learned at school. Le Petit also has a good amount of outdoor space, with a bunny, chickens, and a little garden. When we drop him off, we know he will spend the day being loved by the teachers, learning with friends, and eating good food.

Lida Esfandi: My granddaughter goes there and she loves it. The owners and the staff are great. The location is great it's close to my house. Sometimes I volunteer my time there.

Omer Nissani: Amazing preschool. The staff is warm and professional and they treat the children as if they were their own.5 Star!

Jay.V Lara: The staff is extremely loving and it feels like they are a part of your family. The kids are always exposed to new and fun interactive learning. It is such a happy place, I highly recommend this school for your child!

Inner Peace: Sophie and Simon are always warm and having smile on there faceStaff's all like family they're so nice and thoughtfulEvery morning Irene runs into LPG

Kathryn Rohrer: We could not be more delighted with this wonderful school and community. It is such a happy place for the whole family. Our daughter is 2 years old, and she loves going to "school" each day. When she is home, she pretends to drive her car to "go see kids!" Like the other families, we are deeply grateful for the healthy menu and for the loving, nurturing environment Sophie, Simon, and all the staff create. We could not be happier! Thank you!

Priscilla Levy: I am so happy and I feel privilege and lucky to have my son in "Le petit Gan".The program is great, the kids are evolving in a loving and happy environment. The teachers and staff are so nice and efficient! I could not have dream of a better school for my baby.Thank you to the all team!!!All our love

Desiree' Akhtarzad Ghalili: . Another bonus is that they post up to date photos everyday on a private Facebook page and hundreds of more photos at the end of the month. I get to see what the kids do everyday, making me feel like I was there! I honestly can go on and on about the school and everything that I love about it but this would just become a ridiculously long review! Also they prepare kosher and organic meals which my food hating daughter actually eats!If you get bored of reading the above paragraph, all you need to know is that I recommend LPG with with not just 5 stars but 5 million stars!!!

Shelly Hay Anderson: Le Petit Gan is truly a gem. Wonderful attentive, fun and loving staff. Great curriculum including Yoga, Krav-Maga, cooking and gardening. Not to mention organic food which is a real draw for my family. My daughter is always excited to go to school. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Max Goldberg: A small school with lots of individual attention from good people who care about your children's education.

Asher Kelman: The preschool is a safe and nurturing place for children. They are taught to socialize and respect one another and appreciate the natural world and each other. This is a rich environment for preparing enriching language skills, as they use Hebrew as well as French in addition to English in their play and instruction. Can't recommend this preschool enough!Asher

stephan k: Le Petit Gan de Sophie is really the best school I could have find for my daughter. They take such a good care of the children. You can feel that they care about our children as they were their owns.On top of that, Mathilda has been learning a lot since she started and you can see her growing every day thanks to Le Petit Gan.

Adib Jacob Sage: I am very impressed with the love and care Le Petit Gan gives to every single child. My little cousin attends the preschool there and we couldn't be happier picking him up each and every day! Not only is he learning several different languages like french and hebrew but he is also making new amazing friends. They take such great care of him as he is loved and looked after so carefully. Not to mention the beautiful new location and amazing Kosher/Organic menu for everyday lunch. I cant recommend this Le Petit Gan enough!!

C I: Le Petit Gan is a very special pre-school. From the minute you walk in, it's apparent that there is something different about the aura. Sophie and Simon have created an environment that is so welcoming and loving the children know it the minute they walk in. The campus is beautiful and provides students with so many alternative scenes and options. The yoga room, painting room, classroom, and kitchen are in different locations that are filled with color and highly accessible to all the children. I love that the children eat organic kosher food and are able to be in an environment that is language rich and friendly. Sophie speaks and teaches in French, Hebrew and English which is an incredible commodity and not so readily found. The most important thing to our family, is that our little one is happy, and if he is having a tough day, Sophie and Simon will communicate with him and teach him how to appropriately express his feelings & they will tell us about it. His previous school did not do this and it left Ari really frustrated. When children are young they can't express themselves well yet, and you need to be able to trust who they are with and, without a doubt Sophie and Simon are highly conscious, intelligent, loving, nurturing and wonderful with the children. We are so happy Le Petit Gan now exists in LA, where it has so desperately been needed. I could go on and on about the wonderful experiences we've had thus far, maybe next time....Thank you Le Petit Gan!

Kevin Vaisman: First thing I have to say about Le Petit Gan, is that my son has been so happy since he's been going early 2013. He adapted quickly and I'm sure it had to do with the level of commitment, care and love that Sophie brings to the kids.Second is that same level of commitment focused on the kids is given to the parents as well. On days that I felt unease, I got text messages from the school with pictures of my son happy and having a blast. This kind of communication to me is priceless. It's also great to see the photos Simon takes every week of the kids, he's a great photographer. On another note I have seen my son improve on many levels. He has been a slow talker, and can now speak much better, is more confident and creative. He loves cooking with Sophie as well as gardening and art.I am thankful to have Le Petit Gan in our neighborhood and will highly recommend it.

Roey Burg: This school is fantastic! My son Liam has been here for about a year and we couldn't be happier with the staff teachers and the environment. It took us a long time to find the right school for us and we are so thrilled to be a part of this family of educators. Liam is always so excited to go school to see his friends and his teachers especially. If you trying to find the right school for your child, don't forget to check this one out, as it is everything a family could ask for from a school.

Alexandra Pottier: It's called love at first sight. The first minute I stepped into that school, I just toldMyself that's where I want my boy to go. Unfortunately, he is still too young to be a part of the school, however, we are already a part of this small community. We attended the mommy and me classes and it was amazing. My son loved it even though he was small at that time. He had so much fun. Sophie and Simon are so welcoming, warm and they always try their best to help you.I'm just looking forward for my son to go there. The school itself is so clean, several classrooms, a lot of different activities, outdoor and indoor, organic kosher food and more. Thank you for being just the best.

Coucou Los Angeles: what do users think?

Orion Alix: I've been taking classes at Coucou for a few months now and love my classes. All the teachers I've met there are super nice and caring and really work with you to make sure you understand the language. I only studied French on my own before starting at Coucou and in just the few months I've been there I have seen a huge improvement in my understanding of language. Coucou also hosts a bunch of really awesome culture events as well and every one I've gone to has been a blast. Amazing staff, great community, and the location has a wonderful vibe and atmosphere too. I highly recommend taking a class at Coucou if you've been wanting to learn or brush up on your French. Merci beaucoup!

Joanna Gee: are all super friendly, helpful and patient. The space is custom built for Cou Cou

Mariam Aslanyan: Coucou classes have been very effective for me plus interacting with new people who have similar interests such as learning French, has been really nice during the pandemic. The methodology used is very practical and all the teachers are native speakers. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

Chris Malone: From all the constant barrage of noise and news in this world, this is my weekly breath of fresh air. There are good people in this world and you will find them here. The setting is idyllic: warm, inviting, exactly as you'd envision a French school, but most importantly friendly and fun.The people and professors make this place, they present the perfect balance of foundational/structural learning that then flows into how to speak real world conversational French with an incredibly fun, vivacious, laugh-filled setting. Low stress French learning. So it's yours what you make of it, if you want to learn how the young people really speak French you will get all the tools here and you won't sweat thru your class, dare I say you will smile.

Rebecca Kohler: French! Merci Coucou!

Nicolette: and seen significant improvement in my French. These aren't your typical language classes. They're modern, fun, and prepare you for actual real-life conversations/scenarios. I've gained a newfound confidence with, and understanding of, the French language. Plus, I've made new friends that share my love of French language and culture via their social events! Merci Coucou.

J Anderson: It's been a lifelong goal of mine to learn French and the team at Coucou LA has made it both easy and fun. Since December 2019 I have done a 10-week group program, a 2-week accelerated group program, and weekly private lessons. There is an option for every time and financial commitment.I have to commend Coucou on quickly adapting to distance/online-learning in response to Covid-19. I went from in-person learning to online without any trouble or inconvenience at all. I miss hanging out with my teachers and spending time at the actual school but am glad that I've been able to carry on!If you're looking for a casual/conversation-based program where you can learn both french language and french culture you should definitely consider enrolling at Coucou LA.Bonne chance à tous!

Christian Jimenez: class due to having already studied French before and I have been very happy to have joined another Francophone community that really cares about the students and their passion for the language and French culture. They are very flexible with your needs and provide a lot of support in helping you reach your goals. They have been very inclusive on how they run their school and have made my classes very fun and engaging. Being in Cynthia's class is a delight as she brings a lot of personality to her method of teaching and is patient with every student to make each lesson fun and worth your time and money. If you are looking for a Francophone community to join I would not hesitate to try out Coucou as they also provide many other activities and classes to really live the French language.

Neka Allen: ..but I'm still at Coucou!! -- that speaks to how great the teachers and the program are.I had been using apps on and off for a few years to learn French, but never really got past the basics. That has completely changed with classes at Coucou -- in-person instruction, the course plans they've developed, and the ability to ask questions has really helped me to improve my understanding and abilities in French so much more quickly.

Woan Ni: is the diligent casualness of the class. For me, I’m looking to understand the culture as much as learn the language and my classes at Coucou has enriched my understanding of French in a wholistic way. Classes always have been fun and now it’s super exciting to recognize grammar/ vocabulary when listening to music, watching films or when listening to other speak. A great community run by formidable and caring people. A very warm and easy environment. I’m very grateful. Merci infiniment Coucou ♥️

Jenny Fraker: J’adore Coucou! Wonderful, effective French language classes in a beautiful space + French teachers who make learning fun and accessible to all. In addition to weekly classes, they build community with super-fun parties and special workshops open to all.

Alexa S: I have really enjoyed my classes at Coucou after the first session! I was looking for classes that were more than just sitting there studying French like you were in high school again, but something that could help me maintain my French and learn in a different way.I knew a lot of French coming in so started with level 3. The class size was small and intimate, and my teacher made class feel comfortable and fun.The location is really cute, and doesn't feel like a classroom for children. Parking is on the street which always has open spaces.I also really enjoy the community that Coucou is creating as I continue to take classes. From holiday parties to movie nights to embroidery in French there is so much to offer! I'm learning the French I want to learn, that will help me sound more natural.

Anna Enger: . I’m so glad I chose Coucou over a community college because it’s more affordable, social, and low-pressure. I’m sure all the teachers are great but I’ve loved to get to know the two I’ve had so far, Cynthia and Jean-Baptiste. 100% recommend.

Andrea Grier: Coucou is a great place to learn French. All of the teachers are native speakers and excellent at keeping students engaged in a welcoming atmosphere. Cynthia is amazing! She keeps the classes light and fun, AND she is really good at explaining complicated grammar. Having small classes is great to keep you engaged. I highly recommend Coucou to anyone wanting to learn or improve their French!

Elayna Schranz: . The learning experience is curated at all levels, as I have friends in beginner/intermediate level who are return students. The team at Coucou could not be further from the silly French stereotype of being snobby or standoffish. I highly recommend taking a course here. You will "sans doute" be joining the Coucou fan club and planning your next overseas trip to France, well-prepared to engage with locals! Bisous à ma famille de Coucou.

Madeline Stevens: Have loved my time at Coucou! Friendly and fun instructors who work to meet you where you’re at. The curriculum is designed to teach you the everyday language skills that will be immediately useful. They also strive to create a community with events outside of classes. Recommended!

Shani Am. Moore: Fantastic way to learn French, and to join a Francophile community! Coucou's teachers are smart, full of energy, and brimming with helpful study techniques. The social events that Coucou organizes are fun, and the classes are too. I highly recommend this program. Coucou, merci beaucoup!

nahal: Coucou is a special place. I‘ve been a student for a year now and haven taken both private and group classes here, both of which I recommend. I find the Coucou approach engaging, practical, and effective- I saw great results in just a few months. The vibe is fun & low pressure- you can put as much work into it as you want or can based on your schedule- and will see results accordingly. Beyond classes, they host some really great cultural events that bring the Community together around French language. Everything I’ve attended has been tastefully put together and always a good time. In terms of teachers, I really love learning with Cynthia, but all of the instructors are super knowledgeable and patient.

Nikhil Syam: Highly recommend this program! The curriculum is engaging and makes you feel comfortable to learn and grow at your own pace. The teachers are fantastic and oh so French. I found it cool that as you continue to move up levels, your teachers move up with you and continue to foster your develpment. All in all a fantastic school and set of teachers; out of all the methods and classes I've tried, this is the best!

Megan Dollar: Emmanuel is a wonderful French instructor! He helped me keep up with and improve upon my French skills while also teaching me about French culture and "real life" in France. Upon returning to the states from a year in France, I was worried about losing my language skills. Weekly lessons with Emmanuel were exactly what I needed to maintain my French!

Stephanie Kissinger: , but I am amazed at how far I’ve come since beginning lessons with Emmanuel. He brings variety to lessons

Leah Hagar: I have been taking lessons with Samba to maintain the French I learned growing up and it has been so beneficial and helpful. Samba is very open to tailoring lessons plans to what you are most interested in learning/focusing on. Lessons just fly by as they’ve been so fun. I recommend these to anyone looking to improve or maintain their French.

His classes are dynamic, creating an engaging learning environment. He is committed to improve his teaching every single class. For example, he adapts the content of each class to improve my French in areas that I need the most. He is also a kind and fun person. I couldn’t recommend Encore French Lessons more highly. You should give it try and come join us!

Ashley Boucher: I’ve been taking lessons with Emmanuel for about 4 months now and I could not recommend Encore French Lessons more highly! Lessons are tailored to you and what you want to learn, and Emmanuel makes sure you learn the “French” way of speaking so you don’t sound like a textbook. I can’t wait to take my new French skills with me to practice in France!

Jane Su: It’s hard to learn another language when we are not present with the actual surrounding. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn and master French language!

Karen Tam: I've been taking Encore French Lessons for over 6 months now and very happy with our classes. Emmanuel offers a well rounded curriculum, we focus on different aspect vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar...I wouldn't say I'm a good student especially the grammar part, but Emmanuel is very patient and explains in a way I feel like I'm not just following a book. Everything I learn can be easily apply to everyday life and when I travel abroad.Besides the weekly class, there's also a free weekly newsletter that features French culture, fun facts and quizzes, that keeps me well in the mood of French than only during the class.

Nestor Fernandes: Emmanuel is a great teacher! He tailors his lessons to suit his students’ level and aptitude. Furthermore, he focusses on pronunciation and conversational aspects, while striving to explain grammar as intuitively as possible. He is a natural at teaching and a native speaker, so it doesn’t get much better. The lessons are one-on-one, well planned and enjoyable. I have learned a significant amount in a short span of time. La Petite Ecole Française: what do users think?

Marlene Markari: Caroline has been teaching my high schoolers for almost three years now. She individualizes the classes and makes it fun and interesting for them. They love working with her.

Rachel Gariepy: I have really enjoyed taking class with La Petite Ecole Française. Caroline is very clear and takes her time to make sure everyone in the class is comprehending each lesson. It's nice to have a weekly reason to speak French with other people and I appreciate that the homework isn't too time consuming.

Peyton Limoges: Caroline is a wonderfully patient and encouraging teacher. Her classes feel more like a meet-up with a friend-- she is always willing to spend more time on a topic that you as a student find interesting, or chat in French to improve your conversational skills. She is also incredibly thorough and provides her students with skills early-on that other teachers might overlook-- for example, being able to provide someone with my email address in French didn't seem important until I was traveling in Paris and needed a French-speaking clerk manning the desk at the Palace of Versailles to re-send me my tickets via email!Caroline inspires her students to have a passion not just for the French language, but French culture. I would highly recommend her class to anyone who is interested in learning more about this fascinating country and their language.

Solange Lalande: My teacher, Caroline Busse, is a really good instructor. I enjoy the class and the way Ms. Busse guides us each week. She provides interesting and fun lessons. We have opportunities for conversations within the class, writing exercises, grammar lessons, cultural and historical information about France, all within the context of the class. The homework is manageable and definitely helps the learning process. I highly recommend French classes at La Petite Ecole Française with Ms. Caroline Busse.

Joy Cheng: I'm so glad I had taken French 101 at La Petite Ecole Française. Caroline has the experience and patience to help open doors to the wonderful world of the French language, without making the process daunting at all.

Stephen Santos: Caroline is a great teacher and I am enjoying her classes! Because of the way she structures the course, I am able to learn French as a hobby without being overwhelmed by the work and complexities of learning another language. The weekly homework and exercises to practice what you learn in lessons are manageable and fun. I hope to continue taking more classes in the future.

Jennifer Hayes: Caroline is an outstanding teacher! She makes learning French very accessible with her warm, supportive presence. Taking her classes virtually has been great. Highly recommend her!

Carla Szuch: , what do you know, we are doing just that! Speaking!

Allison Cheffer: Caroline was a great teacher. I took French 101 and really appreciated Caroline’s attention to the little things - like tongue placement and lip movements - to make sure I pronounced everything perfectly. She also made me confident that doing the class virtually was just as good, if not better, than taking it in person.

Sarah Montgomery: , it has been a logical learning process. I look forward to my Monday night French class because of the relationship I have with my peers and Caroline, the discussions about Francophone culture, and the ability to put into practice all the incredible French skills I am developing.

Miriam B Gomez: I always wanted to learn French, and now that I am, I am glad I found La Petite Ecole Française. Learning French from Caroline has been the best investment I have ever made this year. The thing that I like is how honest and patient she is with her students. I am pleased, and for anyone who is thinking about taking French, I strongly recommend La Petite Ecole Française for all levels of French.

Mark Zarem: I'm a regular at the Saturday mornings adult conversation class. It's excellent. It just doesn't get any better than this. Try it!

Sam Lucas: I have really enjoyed my time in class here. It is so good to learn the language from a native speaker. Over the past few weeks my French has gotten a lot better. Highly recommend.

Pamela Poop: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueCaroline is a gifted language teacher. The lessons make sense, are conversational and easily build on each other. Also, she teaches us about French culture. It is really fun!

Jose Hernandez: I highly recommend working with Caroline at La Petite Ecole Français. You will not only learn the fundamentals of the French language, Caroline also takes it a step further by integrating everyday spoken phrases. She provides a modern touch to the French language! The class moves at a pace that’s perfect for working professionals. Best of all, the small class environment provides an optimal opportunity to build long-lasting friendships with your cohort. Throughout the course, Caroline provides a wide array of additional resources, from recommended films, books and music. You’ll have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the French culture in a fun, welcoming and creative environment.

Lily W: Growing up in the French Concession area in Shanghai, I always adored French culture, architecture, and the language. I took two semesters of French back in high school and got engaged in Paris recently, so I thought it would be the perfect time for picking it up again. I have had the pleasure of working with Caroline on a weekly class. She is exceptionally attentive to my personal needs and keeps the lessons challenging and yet fun. She provides a wide variety of learning activities and exposure to authentic materials, including music, movies, drama, and all sorts of things you don't get from just textbooks. I can't recommend Caroline highly enough: she was just what I needed - relaxed, professional, full of enthusiasm, and offers inside information on the French culture that I so enjoy. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to take the course online via Zoom. I hope we will be able to see each other in the classroom in the future when the time is right. Merci beaucoup, Caroline!

Lyndall Vu: I am 41 and have always wanted to learn a new language particularly French. My sister and I have always been fascinated by the French culture - you can say that we are big Francophiles! So when my sister persuaded me to sign up with Caroline’s class I couldn’t resist. Despite my age, I decided to give it a go and try something new. People always say it’s hard to pick up a new language unless you’re a child but I can say with full confidence that I am just delighted to have found a new hobby and interest.Caroline runs an amazing program. And I am so fortunate to have enrolled in her class. In my opinion, Caroline is dedicated to her students. She is knowledgeable, professional, honest and builds on her student’s confidence. Her style of total immersion has definitely made a positive impact on my journey. I look forward to class each week. For anyone who is interested in learning French, I highly recommend Caroline!

Andréa Minkoff: is an incredible teacher who brings a high level of passion and enthusiasm for teaching French language and culture to her students. I love the way she structures her curriculum, as she artfully scaffolds the process of learning a new language in a very accessible way. I look forward to our weekly online group classes, and I love studying French on the days in between class by reviewing the many resources Caroline recommends to her students

AnaElisa Gutierrez: La Petite École Française is a wonderful place to learn French. French language, French culture, French thoughts. The instruction is very enjoyable and incredibly effective - I feel like I grasped the language quickly and was able to run off and use it with all the enthusiasm in the world. Passion is at the heart of this school which provides the best kind of motivation to learn.

Tiffany Carrey: Caroline is simply THE BEST! My son, a Sophomore in high school, was taking an online French course thru UC - and he was struggling to understand it. He started tutoring with Caroline to help him and have not looked back. She is an excellent instructor and truly cares about and understands what teens need to learn a language. We could not be happier with her services!

L'Heritage Francais Elementary & Preschool: what do users think?

Natasha Duperrut: My kids go to L'Heritage Francais and we are so lucky we found this school. Very happy we made the decision to send our children here!

Erin Becerra: , so it's fun to see how he's become conversationally fluent in such a short time. The new La Habra campus has a gymnasium, science lab, brand new computer lab and library where the kids can check out both a French and English book each week. Maybe best of all, there are small student/teacher ratios. The students are a close knit group, and the parents and staff help create a community that feels like home.If you're looking for a great school, French immersion, or even just a great pre-school, L'Heritage Français is a wonderful option!

Miriam Gomez-Rodriguez: We first joined L'Heritage Français in 2010, at that time we wanted a good preschool but we wanted a school where our daughter could start learning and not just a daycare. We were very impressed not only by the clean campus and small class sizes, but we noticed that all the children were very engaged in their classes with their teachers and peers. Parents are given the opportunity to volunteer on campus which allows you see what goes on in the classrooms plus you get to know the classmates and parents. We now have 2 daughters at this school, one in 1st grade and the other is finishing 6th grade, we are beyond blessed and grateful for this village who has helped us raise them.We are a non-French speaking family however, both of our daughters are completely fluent in French now and excelling academically in all areas. The teachers here have encouraged our daughters to not only excel in what they do but to be strong, kind, thoughtful, confident and conscientious about their friends and environment. In 2010, we did not fully realize the gift that we were giving our daughters with the dual immersion language program and today we see all the benefits in our girls.L’Heritage Français is a very diverse school and it is not uncommon that many students speak 3+ languages. If you are looking for a preschool, we highly recommend that you at least take the time to tour L’Heritage Français in person. See attached sample pictures of a book my daughter wrote and illustrated in 5th grade.

Alejandra Perdomo: Absolutely love love L’heritage Francias preschool! I have been so impressed with the teachers and their creativity. Their new location is absolutely beautiful. I haven’t seen any other school in La Habra that comes anywhere close to the quality for the price! Highly recommended!

Dean Pedregon: Our daughter is now a graduate of L'Heritage Français. We are so happy that we found this program. She started with the preschool program, not speaking any french at all, but the full immersion environment was perfect, and the teachers were so caring. She started speaking french in no time, and as she progressed through the grades she became fully bilingual. There are so many great things about the school. While, of course, there is complete french immersion, English and other academic subjects are also fully addressed. I, myself, am a math teacher, and my wife is an English teacher, so a complete academic curriculum was important to us in selecting a school. Ever since graduating from L'Heritage Français, our daughter has been placed in accelerated/honors math, science, and English classes. She continues to do well into high school, earning straight A's in every class. We are so thankful for her experience at L'Heritage Français. The teachers are so nurturing and creative. They really inspire the students to love school and love learning. They incorporate art, music, games, and field trips into learning. It is really a complete experience, and it has a real family atmosphere that includes parents. We have recommended the school to friends who have young children, and all of them have been extremely happy with the school. If you want a nurturing, caring environment, combined with strong academics, this school is an easy choice.

Natalie Valle: I researched many schools in the La Habra and Whittier neighborhoods, but I found most of them to be disorganized and not very clean. I came to an open house to L'Heritage from a friends recommendation and what a difference! The kids are in a new school with plenty of space, the teachers follow a lesson plan even for the 3 years olds and encourage their development. Instead of babysitting which I have seen most school I have observed do. After finding the price and the flexibility of the schedule which allows for half day, full day, part time or full time and even after school care, it works perfectly for my working schedule. My daughter did two years at the preschool and has started the elementary program which is bilingual English/French. Teachers are caring, the campus is new and clean. I encourage anyone looking for a preschool/elementary school and likes small class size and the idea of child becoming multilingual to defiantly come to L'Heritage

Jay Vee: My daughter began the preschool at 2 years 9 months old, she had been at another preschool and we had looked into Montessori schools in the neighborhood, not only was L'Heritage spotlessly clean and well organized but the price is extremely reasonable. We immediately changed preschools after spending a day observing the classroom environment and how well the teachers worked with the kids. It is not simply a day care, it is a full curriculum. Couldn't recommend the school more! After two years my daughter became fully fluent in french even though we don't speak it at home.We have loved it so much that we enrolled her in the elementary program which is run half in English and half in French, and runs through grade 6. We have spent time with other relatives who have children the same age and what is covered at the school and the level of instruction is evident in my daughters progress. All classes are capped at a max of 18 students and the school offers many activities including choir, science lab, and full computer lab. We will be enrolling our second daughter in the preschool as soon as she becomes of age.

Steven Kuyper: My wife discovered L’Heritage Francais in 2001 when she was looking for a pre-school for our son. She was impressed with the way the students treated each other with kindness and the staff were warm and friendly. That positive environment continues today. We now have three more children attending L’Heritage Francais ranging from pre-school to 2nd grade. Our children are learning French at an amazing rate. We love seeing our children reading, writing, speaking and singing in French! The staff is truly professional and caring. L’Heritage Francais really has a family feeling to it. It is a wonderful school that we highly recommend!

John Fuhs: The school not only has high academic standards, but focuses on the entire development of a child. As a public school teacher, I never imagined such a place could exist.

Strommen Spanish, French, German Classes and Translation: what do users think?

Roshi Pandian: !

Michael Carrone: This language class is excellent. You will learn fast. I can’t wait to start my next class. Karen is the best.

Cole Pourciau: I highly recommend Karen for Spanish lessons! I've completed three of the group courses with her and have learned so much. Karen has been great to work with. She is super patient, always pleasant and has a great teaching style. It is great to be challenged while feeling comfortable and not pressured. I look forward to completing more courses and having some private sessions!

Samira Sadri: I have Yvan Reazza as my Italian tutor. I have been working with him for 3 months now and he is the best tutor i’ve ever had. He is so patient and is always available when you need him. He is very flexible and will customize your classes to make them fun and interesting for you. He has made learning Italian so fun and i enjoy every class with him. He knows the rules better than everybody else and i would definitely recommend him. The way he teachers is amazing and he is overall so sweet and fun.

Kerry Stirling: Sara Zanelletti has been teaching me Italian for a few months. I really enjoy my time with her. She is not only a great teacher but also a very kind person. Grazie mille!!

Gina Martin del Campo: I have been learning Italian for 2 years with Garrett Strommen. I'm 3rd generation Sicilian and always wanted to learn Italian. Although it is often challenging, it has been such a blessing to have been able to be learn the language I'm most passionate about. Garrett, who grew up in Rome is so patient with me and an overall wonderful teacher. I highly recommend Strommen languages for anyone who is seeking to learn a new language either with a private teacher or in a group class setting.

Wandie K: I have been lucky enough to take classes with different Strommen teachers over the years and I'm always so impressed with the skilled, creative and kind people on the team. My French classes with Stephanie were the jumpstart I needed to start learning French again after years of "I should really take French classes." She was very gentle and kind with my anxiety about my skill level and the lack of practice I'd had over the years. She was able to completely repair my confidence in actually learning French, now I just have to keep practicing!

Eric Pierre-Louis: Stephanie really helped guide my French progression - providing examples, exercises, and tips/tricks for critical topic areas. Her professional easy-going style easily fits with any learning style!

Toni C: I've been using Strommen for years, learning different languages. I like both the small group classes and one on one sessions. I especially love Valeria. She is so knowledgeable, patient, and makes learning fun. I feel so lucky she's my teacher. Truly a gem.

Madeline DiNonno: I've had the privilege of studying Italian with the amazing Vanessa Spinetti for the past few years! She is a native speaker who is very creative and innovative with her teaching style. I highly recommend Vanessa. I also recommend Strommen as I have taken language lessons at many schools, virtual and in-person and they do offer the best!

Paige Annette: Stephanie is my French tutor and she is amazing! I’m so happy I found her! She’s personalizes each lesson to each student. She’s very detailed knowledgeable and patient! Hidden gem!

Aliya Chen: I've been taking group French classes with Erin and she's amazing! She's super patient and kind, and she happily accommodates every student regardless of proficiency. She adjusts the pace based on our needs and tailors lessons to our personal experiences, so that I feel like I can already use French in real-world situations even after just a couple months. Definitely recommend Erin for an awesome learning experience!

Diana Gould: Erin is an excellent French instructor. The classes are interesting and fun and I'm enjoying them. If you are interested in learning French, I would definitely recommend Erin.

Cherif Gueye: Since December, I’ve been learning French with Erin, she’s genuinely the best teacher I’ve had. So kind, patient and specific to my ambitions in the language. She carefully builds programs for me that come to life in our 1:1 sessions. After about three months, I was comfortable enough to only speak French during our classes. She created a sage space for me to stumble into words and phrases, never making me feel like I wasn’t improving. In July, I went to Europe and saw family, surprising them with my ability in French. Shoutout to Erin for her teaching!

Guk yun Kwon: I've been taking classes with Erin for around 3 years. She is friendly teaching English. I definitely recommend her if you need English or French tutor.

Dmitry Bogatov: My teacher is Erin and everything is great. I like it a lot!

Thaïs Castrale: I started Italian classes with Vanessa 2 months before going to Italy for a full month.I highly recommend her if you want to take your learning at a quick pace and are committed to the homework load.I was happy to train and learn while in Italy by speaking the language every single day and felt very comfortable. She gave me a solid base. She provides tools in all areas for you to surround yourself with the language in a daily basis: from reading recommendations to songs and films, to news. She guarantees you can move fast through the grammar book.Advancing a chapter per class if you are committed.

Kim Minji: Erin is absolute great teacher. I've took her lesson for this few months as a group session and it's been very good. She's always making sure everyone's doing well and always makes class fun and easy to understand. Thanks Erin!

Christine N: I definitely recommend Vanessa if you're looking for a French tutor. It was towards the end of the school year when we realized we really needed a tutor, and fast. After searching online and calling many places, Strommen was reasonably priced and immediately available for virtual tutoring. Vanessa was personable, accommodating and jumped right into the curriculum. She helped my daughter with homework and study for tests, and definitely improved the final grade.

St.Timothy School: what do users think?

Sujin Kim: We found the perfect school for our child. The school vibe is that of a small community. The families are down to earth and very invested in their kids and the school. The teachers are passionate, dynamic, engaged, and loved by the students and supported by the parents. The kids are sincerely kind and character is a tenant of the school that's emphasized and rewarded. Kindness and respect are cultivated here.Academically, it's very rigorous and advanced. STS has consistently had the highest test scores in the entire archdioceses for years. The kids aren't coddled but not ignored either. It's very much a deliberate plan in cultivating responsibility and accountability for their academic success. While the curriculum is a year advanced, the school has been very good at accommodating the "lows" and the "highs" on the spectrum of students and can modulate the curriculum accordingly.

Cheyenne Wesley: Good

Michelle Prentice-Leslie: Can't say enough good about this school: good balance of academic, extra curricular activities, comprehensive approaches to learning, and relationship to faith.

kevin king: We have had the best experience with our kids here. The teachers are enthusiastic and clearly care for their students and the administration is supportive and attentive to any issues we raise. It is academically rigorous and I believe helps our kids reach their potential.

Kristine Whittaker: Both of my children attend St. Timothy’s; my daughter is in Pre-K and my son is in 2nd grade. We absolutely love everything about the school – the teachers, the accelerated academics and educational opportunities; even the other students and their parents are awesome. We feel like part of a family here. Everyone from the principal, Lena Randle, to Mr. Jose, the custodian, are kind, compassionate, down to earth and a joy to be around. I enjoy knowing that my children are receiving the best education possible taught by the best teachers. The education is far more academically advanced, and it shows when we interact with children from other schools. The children who attend St. Timothy’s learn invaluable life lessons and about being a good Christian, which is the core of St. Timothy’s teachings. I believe St. Timothy’s is setting my children up to be very successful in life.

Cindy E: St. Timothy’s is a wonderful school. I went to a nearby Catholic School and toured all the local private schools before making the choice to send our son here. I can tell you that St. Timothy’s is the best school by far. They have an accelerated learning program unlike any of the other schools. The kids that graduate from here get into the top high schools of their choice. They have small classroom sizes which I love. My son gets more one on one time with his teacher. The teachers are wonderful and very highly educated. Everyone is loving and caring, including the other parents. We’ve made some great friends. You really feel like you belong to a Community. St. Timothy’s is truly one of Westside’s hidden gems! Our son loves it and we are so happy we made the choice to send him here. I highly recommend taking the tour and seeing for yourself.

St. Francis High School: what do users think?

Matthew Kubly: Most amazing thing that's ever happened to me. My son will go there.

Colin Keenan: Great High School, but not for those who slack off. One of the few high schools that actually put its mission statement into action.

Paula G: St Francis was a stigmatic and i believe this is truly a condition devout types suffer from. Also the campus is really cool. Like a university. They do have some strict guidelines about visitors that ought to be dropped and relaxed. Jmho.

Gabriel Bernal: awesome

Alliance Française de Los Angeles: what do users think?

Charles Chidiac: Nice and tiddy place . They give french lessons and have lot of cultural activities

Manuelle Charbonneau: in a conveniently located, and simple yet stylish setting. Everything is just top notch. Highly recommend.

Guy Hartstein: Excellent French lessons for teens. I’ve been going here for several years now. I found the receptionists desk to be generally unhelpful in getting things done, but besides that, I love the place and the classes.

Pete Hernandez: Teachers are very patient and good at explaining the topics being studied. Everyone is given pretty much the same amount of individual attention. You read out loud, do exercises in class and at home, write, work on grammar, understanding and interpreting literary works and their authors, etc. Great training.

victoria: I really enjoyed taking classes with the Alliance Francaise! Nice teachers and competent team

Mit St: very good course

Brian Blades: Richard Sudar is one of the finest criminal attorneys in Los Angeles and has dealt with every type of case in every criminal court in L.A. and the Valley. He was was a former Trial Attorney of the Year and has excellent relationships with prosecutors and judges. He's comes highly recommended by other criminal defense lawyers and those in the legal profession. His fees are extremely reasonable as well.
