Susie owns two Makin’ Waves salons in Southern California, one in Huntington Beach and one in Los Angeles, where she offers hair extension classes through her company, Hollywood Hair Extensions.

Susie started in the beauty world doing hair and nails in 1988, but it wasn’t long before she fell in love with hair extensions. Quite a challenge as you can imagine, considering what was going on in her life at the time. I had to quickly transform her neglected locks into beautiful hair and I had to do it fast.

I originally did her extensions back in 2003 and she called me back a year later and said it was the best set of extensions she ever had. Since 2005 I’ve also been the personal hair stylist of Dale Bozzio, the lead singer of the band Missing Persons. I’ve done her hair for all of her concerts and tours since then.”
