SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills: what do users think?

Isaiah Herrero: Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, the SLS Hotel at La Cienega offered a brief yet memorable stay during our exploration of the city. Despite our Airbnb in Beverly Hills, we found ourselves drawn to the hotel's elegant rooms and inviting ambiance. While our time was short, the experience was nothing short of welcoming and luxurious, providing a delightful retreat from our adventures across LA.

Ashley Thomas: The only reason this hotel gets 4 stars is because of the food and the hotel staff…the rooms themselves are 2/3 stars. But the food- omg delicious! For breakfast I had the mushroom omelette, bacon, and sourdough toast…the toast I could have done without, but the omelette was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. For a late dinner I had the mini burger + fries and it was the perfect serving size and cooked to perfection - 10/10!The hotel is walking distance to the mall, so I loved the location as well.

Tom Shearer: , and Yori were so pleasant and made sure our stay was truly relaxing. We'll be back for sure. Thank you again!!!Rooms: Rooms a large and quaint.Food & drinks: Best food I've ever had at a hotel in many years.

Joel N: Front desk guy was very kind to upgrade me to a suite. I’m a gold elite member and normally I need to ask this, I didn’t even ask it and he did it, so that was a surprise. I found the staff friendly. The design I found a little strange, with mirrors pretty much everywhere. The foyer seemed to be lacking energy, but overall good experience.

The Hollywood Roosevelt: what do users think?

Sara Roger: Staying at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt during the TCM film festival was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were transported to the golden age of Hollywood. The location couldn't have been more perfect for festival attendees, with theaters and event venues just steps away. The accommodations were luxurious and meticulously maintained, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-world charm. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the décor, which perfectly captured the glamour of Hollywood's heyday.Dining at the hotel was an absolute delight! The variety of culinary offerings exceeded our expectations, with each meal surpassing the last. Whether indulging in a decadent breakfast at The Tropicana Café or savoring a gourmet dinner at The Shirley Brasserie, every bite was a culinary masterpiece. The staff at the Hollywood Roosevelt went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly set them apart. From recommending the best local attractions to accommodating our every request, their hospitality was unmatched.Overall, our experience at the Hollywood Roosevelt was nothing short of magical. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and already planning our next visit. Five stars doesn't do justice to the exceptional experience we had. Thank you, Hollywood Roosevelt, for an unforgettable stay!

Jayden Burke: two nights It took longer than we planned. The first night we had a leaking air conditioner, but the bed was great. I told the front desk about the air conditioner and put it in the new room. The new room was perfect and very quick to help. The service was great.Had breakfast there and it was perfect. I didn't eat dinner, but I wanted to. The location is in a very good location. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Richard Horan: , we had decent space for our family of three. There are garages nearby if you don't want to pay the high rate for on-site parking. For the rate we paid, I would definitely stay here again.

The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles: what do users think?

Gerald Balbalec: Used to be great during the 1980s, 1990s and up until 2015. Nowadays the hotel guests that have stayed there make the hotel look bad. Nowadays, some of the hotel guests are mostly thuggish, criminals or wannabes disrespecting hotel staff, always complaining to get anything FREE and continue to make themselves think they can have anything their way. "Disrespectful degenerates need to show some class, respect and dignity for themselves!" I commend the hotel staff for putting up with these types of guests. As for the rooms and service from hotel staff, I have no problems with since they are respectful and have done a decent job despite being understaffed during the COVID-19 pandemic and at present. Update: 4 Stars for now until the majority of the disrespectful type of people visiting or staying are no longer or discouraged to stay and or visit. If and when the hotel rates starts to increase due to inflation. Hopefully it happens sooner than later. By the way, a lot of hotels in the Los Angeles area are being affected by the same type of degenerates. I also forgot to mention the Valet parking is currently at $49 per day with limited parking spaces and so far, not enough employees in that department to deal with so many vehicles, rude people before or when the "GARAGE IS FULL." Once overcapacity happens,, hotel guests and visitors will be waiting to get inside for at least 1 or 2 hours from the garage entrance and by then you will be denied parking because THE GARAGE REALLY IS FULL. Plus it takes even longer to get any vehicle out. Once everything goes back to some type of normalcy, the star rating will go up in the near future.

Turner Binkley: Absolutely love this place! One of my favorite places to stay when working in LA. Need to update the TV system in the rooms to the Marriott standard please!Rooms: Need an overall update. TV system needs an upgrade big time

Luis Carmona: The Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles offers spacious and pristine rooms, though the furniture may appear a bit dated, it serves its purpose well. The iconic glass elevators provide a unique and enjoyable experience, complementing the stunning city views. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, adding to the overall positive stay experience.

Dr. Cristal: The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles is a fantastic hotel that I had the pleasure of staying at recently. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown LA and offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The lobby is beautifully designed with a central bar and several seating areas, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.Overall, I highly recommend the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in downtown LA. The hotel's excellent amenities, comfortable rooms, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.Rooms: My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.Food & drinks: The food and drinks here were really delicious and authentic in taste.

Gered K: The rustle of whispering crickets roared in crescendo as we approached the precipice. Overwatch from the entrance we see the sound wasn't crickets but the small warbled of a cloverleaf mantle of burbling fountains of crystal clear water. The first view was amazing, the lobby and open courtyard and 24 hour food selections are awesome. They had booked our room though and the "deluxe" room they replaced it with was staring straight at the outside elevator. The elevator ride was fun, but it was so strange to see your room on the 11th floor before you ever enter it.Beds are nice and pillows are variable firmness which allows one to mix and match to achieve the level of comfort home may provide. Both nights here were interrupted by extremely loud talking followed by very loud music. But the first time stopped by itself and the second time a security guard fixed the problem extremely fast. All in all 4 stars is fairSorry this review isn't as funny my others. I was poetic when I'm this tiredGoodnight

mia robinson: There is no level of unfit and can't be of unsatisfying exposer. As far as I am concerned elite at its most highest performance of absolute perfection with all the preparations to prevent any poor performanceRooms: Top perfection and clean as in the day it opened 💞

MORENAZA DE FUEGO QUINTANA: Very good serviceRooms: Two ThreeNearby activities: cento floristsSafety: Not very sure 🙄😔😔Walkability: Very goodFood & drinks: .very expensiveNoteworthy details: Magnificent

ちっぷばなな: . The breakfast buffet was delicious, including pancakes and eggs Benedict. The maple syrup and wild berry syrup were properly heated and served, and I was impressed by the hospitality.

Hilton Los Angeles Airport: what do users think?

J Marshall Schoonover (J Marshall Speaks): Hilton LAX: Where Meetings Take FlightSoaring above the ordinary, my recent meeting at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport unfolded like a first-class experience. From the dedicated staff to the versatile meeting room itself, the entire encounter transcended expectations and propelled our gathering to new heights.A Room That Metamorphosizes: The meeting room itself was a marvel of adaptability, a chameleon transforming to perfectly suit our needs. Chairs pirouetted with ease, morphing from a conference line to a collaborative circle in a seamless ballet. This fluidity mirrored the flow of our discussion, ensuring every participant felt comfortable and engaged in the intellectual dance.A Crew Worthy of Applause: The setup crew, under the watchful eye of Christina Nickerson, deserve a standing ovation. They functioned with the precision of a pit crew, meticulously addressing every detail before our "touchdown." Their attentiveness and professionalism instilled a sense of calm that permeated the entire meeting, allowing our ideas to take flight without turbulence.Christina: Captain at the Helm: Christina Nickerson, the Manager of Catering & Events, embodied the spirit of a seasoned airline captain. She expertly navigated any concerns or questions we presented, ensuring a smooth and successful journey. Her proactive approach and genuine care for our needs were truly first-class service. In conclusion, the Hilton Los Angeles Airport's meeting space and exceptional staff provided the ideal environment for a productive and engaging gathering. For those seeking a venue that elevates your meeting to new altitudes, look no further.Sunday, April 21st, 2024Highly RecommendedJ Marshall Schoonover

Dan Beekhuizen: Very nice counter staff, clean rooms, close to airport, busy place, over 1000 roomsNearby activities: Lots of other hotels near byWalkability: To JW Steakhouse and Andiamo

Mathias Baumann: Paola at the front desk is just incredibly helpful. I travel to this hotel very often for business and can always count with her to help me find the best accommodation possible. She is just the best.I always have to take a star off, due to the high prices at this hotel. When it comes to food, it just doesn't go with the price tag. Breakfast Buffet is not even close to the $36 and that is just an example....

InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Katrina Samen: The Intercontinental downtown is a huge, buzzy, well maintained hotel, and I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, especially assisting guests to navigate the very confusing elevator system to check in and leave/enter the building. Better wayfinding signage is needed. But I did appreciate the china service set for my room service breakfast, not plastic, as in other hotels. The US just needs better coffee overall!Rooms: As an IHG member, I was upgraded to an amazing room with a stunning view.

Richard: There is a lot to like about the hotel. If you're going to stay downtown, it's very conveniently located and very central. Also, the views? Good luck beating the panoramic views of the city anywhere else. The gym is tremendous both in size and offerings. Probably the best gym I've seen at any hotel. Very diverse equipment and they have a real squat rack, lift platform and bench press racks. An extreme rarity for most hotels.I was also impressed that the hotel uses Breydo products, which are fantastic.I did have an issue during my stay, but no hotel is immune from this happening though. It's how the hotel responds and I can confidently say, this hotel is first class. I didn't expect anything but the hotel went way above and beyond to make it right. So in the oft chance you have a problem, this hotel does a very good job here. My dealings with the staff were all top notch. Maria at the front desk was wonderful at check-in as was Franz in the front office.I definitely look forward to returning next time I'm in town and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Jaspal Singh: April 2024 5*Stayed for 4 nights at this place and it is just amazing property. You get one of the best view of Los Angeles. You can view mountain and the 360 degree view of while city.Rooms are very nice and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. I wish American hotel start putting international plug. Toilet are clean and spacious.Hotel lobby is located at 70 floor. You need to go to lobby every time you want to go to your room. It is maze to find the elevator. However, there are multiple elevators so you don’t wait for more than 1 mins.Hotel is fully accessible and has cafeteria and bar. There are meeting rooms for conference and business meetings. Staff is very courteous and helpful.Rooms: Very niceNearby activities: Shopping streetWalkability: Train station is opposite the street

M.d. Washington: A Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of Downtown LANestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Los Angeles, the InterContinental Hotel offers a truly remarkable experience that seamlessly blends luxury and convenience. From the moment you arrive, the top-notch customer service sets the tone, with attentive doormen and staff members escorting you to the elevators, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome. While the check-in process might seem a bit unconventional, as it's not located on the ground floor, it's a small hurdle that's quickly overshadowed by the hotel's many outstanding features. The elevators, although slightly confusing at first, become easier to navigate once you get accustomed to the system.Once you step into your room, you'll be greeted by a spacious and well-appointed sanctuary that exudes comfort and elegance. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed, offering all the amenities you could desire, ensuring a truly relaxing and indulgent stay. But the InterContinental Downtown LA is more than just a place to rest your head. If you're in the mood for a casual atmosphere, the cozy bar area beckons with its inviting ambiance and ample seating, complete with multiple TVs for your entertainment. One of the standout features of this hotel for me was the coffee area on the lower level, providing a convenient spot to fuel up on your favorite caffeinated beverage throughout the day.I was in awe, and for sure will return! It’s no wonder why this hotel continues to be a favorite among me and many discerning travelers. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, the InterContinental Downtown LA promises to make your stay truly unforgettable. As always..if it’s great..we be at it!

Ethan Stone: Incredible views! Nice pool as well.

Raphael Alfred: Not often I have the opportunity to stay in a hotel like this one. Found it to be very nice and welcoming. Staff incredibly nice and helpful. Lobby is on top of building - 70th floor with guest rooms on floors below. Cannot access guest rooms without going first to the lobby on 70. Great views of the city!Rooms: Clean, quiet and comfortableSafety: Great security presenceWalkability: Metro station is across the street and walki g distance to LA Live, Convention Center and Crypto Arena.Food & drinks: Food is so so for price paid

Freehand Los Angeles: what do users think?

Naveen Allin: This place was amazing. Will definitely come back. Affordable. Has a "vibe". I found the shared rooms to be clean and comfortable. The customer service was kind and efficient. The downstairs coffee and breakfast was amazing. The lobby was relaxing, spacious, cozy, and classy. The evening live music was intriguing. The Saturday house music pool party on the roof was mind blowing with the LA skyline around me. It felt like a new discovery was waiting for me every time I returned to the hostel.THEN!John and the security team very kindly mailed me an item I left there with ease and understanding. 10/10.

Wilford Karsten: There were many amenities in the hotel itself with a restaurant, coffee shop, bar, and a rooftop bar with a pool! It can be a little loud at night if you’re on the street side but, you are in a major city after all.

Chit Min Swe Tin: I had a good experience staying there. Especially because I had a very ethical roommates and helpful staffs. The room and the bathroom was very clean. Good quality mattress. Nice view on the rooftop. My only issue was that all electrical outlets in the room were loose and they didn’t charge my devices properly. Other than that, very good experience!

Arul Arul: Highly recommend it thanks

Valerie Thom: While the procedures for registration, check-in & checkout are not yet seamless nor intuitive not to worry, the stay was great. The daytime onsite staff are there to bridge the gap getting you checked in & settled with competence & kindness. The DTLA location, as well as the beautiful historic building, with it’s interesting rooms, rooftop pool & soon-to- be restaurant seal the deal. I recommend the Kasa Stiles Hotel without reservation. Great stay that exceeded my expectations. Looking forward already to my next stay.

Madeleine Terc: I had a wonderful experience and the hotel is a walking distance to just about every attraction downtown. I love that art deco and the feel of a rustic/antique look. Best place to stay.Rooms: The room has a retro/modern look. The bed is a low profile but very comfortable.Nearby activities: Grammy Museum, crypto arena, convention centerSafety: Even thought downtown has it issues with homelessness. I felt comfortable to walk aroundWalkability: The hotel is near all downtown attractions and restaurantsFood & drinks: They have beautiful coffee shop in the lobby. If you want a mid night snack. Theres a taco shop next to hotel would definitely would recommend.

Macarena Howard: Friendly staff that truly were keen to help out with any questions/needs. Staff were bilingual which provided comforting to some friends that didn't know English. The cleaning staff very very lovely thoughtful and understanding. It can get bit loud during the night but they provide earplugs which is very attentive of them to provide comfort.Definitely will consider staying there again. Thanks Kasa Team.Muchas GraciasRooms: Clean rooms diferent prices to different spaces needs.Nearby activities: Different places to walk toWalkability: Pretty central with walking distance to places Palace theatres. To where I needed to attend was 3 min walk so great location for me.Food & drinks: Light snacks available there. Okonkwo Chinelo: Does feel like home away from home! I truly enjoyed my stay here, everyone was effortlessly warm and wore such great smiles and were always ready to help. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and service was perfect. I was here with my friends and everyone had amazing experiences as well. Huge thanks to the Sofitel team, Martha, Sandra, Leo, Eric, Jose, Enrique, Nemo, and everyone who gave us restful and scintillating experience. We enjoyed our stay here and in a heartbeat, I recommend this place!

Leona E.: The services was great! The smile and pleasant welcome I and my family got was amazing. Special shout to Enrique and team at the Valet. Also, the breakfast was amazing from the Chef to the Restaurant staff, Martha, Sandra, Eric, Nemo, Jose and Leo were just too kind. I recommend staying here!Rooms: Clean and spacious!

J.A. Sanders: This is my favorite hotel in Los Angeles. I used to live in L.A., but I've returned on several occasions. I usually stay with family, but I have stayed in hotels, and this is my absolute favorite. I remember the hotel from back in the '90s as well, when it had a very European style throughout, but now it's modernized; I generally don't like modern-looking hotels, but this is probably the only exception. Everything about the Sofitel exudes class. I don't stay here overnight often, but I try to have lunch here at least once every time I come out. I've had nothing but great experiences eating here, and as far as the rooms are concerned, immaculate is how I would describe them. One of my favorite occasions was when a friend of mine had a small dinner party for family and close friends on the eve of her wedding, and the staff went out of their way to make everybody feel special, not just the bride and groom. I'll always remember how kind the staff members were to me after I lost my only pair of prescription sunglasses; the hotel offered to pay for a replacement, but I refused with appreciation. Of all the hotels in L.A., the Sofitel deserves a blue ribbon for quality, service, and overall beauty. I can't wait to come back.

Narjes Marzouq: I rate it 100/100 since i stay 5 nights and was very nice trip, the location is perfect

Benoît: Stayed there for my birthday and wasn't disappointed. Was great with a hapoy birthday, a birthday card, a birthday cake and champagne! Thank you to the team!Room was gigantic, bed was perfect with perfect pillows of various firmness.Staff is really nice.Only weird thing is the use of a transfer elevator which is a bit annoying.I had a great experience here and would highly recommend staying there.

Kunwar Vir DMD, MS: . The maid service was prompt & good. We had a broken fridge so they brought one up. The shower head is in an awkward position & you will get drenched immediately when you turn it on. Our reservation on the app said that we had access to club lounge, but we were firmly denied it. In Los Angeles, you should also have more vegetarian options in your restaurants.

Tanuomaaleu Ah You: Great place to relax. Very Busy on Laker Game day but the service was not compromised. The Fennel Chicken salad needed more champagne vinaigrette. The ambiance is gorgeous and relaxing.Nearby activities: LA live is next door with tons of eateries. And you have Regal Cinemas across the street for a movie night.Walkability: Conveniently located on Olympic and Figueroa in Downtown LA and just outside of Korea town.

PEBBLE SINGHA: Absolutely Amazing. Great location right by LA live and Cypto arena. In heart of DTLAWalkability: Right by the most happening spot in DTLA

Roxanne Gabel: and shared with Joe's parking. The hotel is walking distance from departures though if you don't have heaps of bags. I'd estimate a 10 minute walk.Check in was easy. The room was beautiful! It's a lovely hotel and quite luxurious. There's a nice coffee shop in the lobby as well.I would 100% stay here again. It was so nice and had a very upmarket feel.Rooms: Beautiful spacious room, very luxurious finishings. The bathroom was huge

Alex Meiring: Hands down the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms & hotel itself were spotless! Not once did it give off that nasty hotel smell that you usually get. Staff was nice for the most part, some of the front desk girls seemed uninterested in my questions but they were the late night shift. The shuttle to the airport was a hassle! Drivers were rude! We were fortunate to have a car so we didn’t have to rely on them much. And the roof top deck…some of the most AMAZING VIEWS of Los Angeles & LAX. I can look past the small stuff. I’d 100% recommend this hotel for family & friends. There is a restaurant/bar, coffee cafe, & donuts sold in the lobby.Rooms: HUGE ROOMS, with HUGE WINDOWS. Nice lighting, beds were comfortable, & bathroom was amazing. Only thing that didn’t work great in our room was the mini fridge.Safety: Always felt safe. Never had any issues with anyone. They have security walking around as well. That was almost anywhere in LA.Noteworthy details: The roof top deck is a great place to soak up the sunshine. We enjoyed breakfast everyday of our stay! And the views are hard to beat..even in the mountains.

Michael Sih: Convenient LAX location with free 24 hour shuttle. Leave up to 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick you up. Shannon at the front desk was wonderful both times we stayed there. The breakfast bar was not kept well stocked and the selection was very limited. The suites and dining area were great.Rooms: Suites were great. We had a 2 room suite with a kitchenette, dining bar table, sofa and available adjoining room.

Liz “Lizzzz” Zzzz: it was very nice and i was able to walk to it from the airport

Silver Lake Pool & Inn: what do users think?

David Petrusich: and the water was heated which was lovely. The bar was closed, but I believe you could order from the restaurant downstairs, Marco Polo.It is very expensive to stay here in my opinion, with some weekends reaching $600 for a standard room. When you spend that much, you definitely expect a bit more of a luxury experience. For the amount you pay, the service felt void, with most of the staff sustaining a somewhat numb and “blah” attitude. I had many encounters where I felt like I was providing them with customer service vs. the other way around. No one was rude, but no one seemed enthusiastic and they were definitely all doing the least. This was everywhere from the bellhop, receptionists, and restaurant staff. Is it worth the price? That’s debatable. I would stay again, but if the service didn’t improve I wouldn’t come back. From what I can tell, they have an uninspired staff - maybe it’s time for some raises or new management!

Kevinnobacon (Kevinnobacon): My favorite place to stay in LA. Location is 10/10 right in the heart of Silverlake, next to great restaurants and cafes. The service is fantastic - shoutout to Miguel for making our stay extra comfortable. The rooms have a gorgeous design and are quite functional - great place to hangout.

The Westin Los Angeles Airport: what do users think?

Aaron Sanchez: to and from the airport. Navigating to the shuttle stop at LAX is confusing, but that's an airport issue. Some shops & restaurants are nearby, but would not say they are walkable.POSH, CLEAN ROOMS - Very happy with my first visit. Large TV, mini fridge, user friendly climate control. Everything looked clean with attention to detail.STAFF WENT ABOVE & BEYOND - Taylor and Inez at the front desk are some of the best! They made sure to address all of my requests with combining reservations, late checkout, and questions about parking. I hope my company chooses this venue again, the staff made it a great visit.
