Coco Guilhem: I use the Roman clay in Shining color. I am thrilled with the result. Looks better in real than on the pictures . I attached a before/ after pictures. I also used the satin paint for the trims and was really disappointed with the quality. I attached pictures as well. Even with stretching the paint, you still can see the brush marks. The quality reminds me the acrylic paint used 20 years ago. I will definitely use the Roman clay in other rooms, but will skip the satin enamel paint. I will get a matching color at Home Depot or Lowe’s, they carry great urethane acrylic paint for cabinetry.
E: New location... Roman clay and lime wash are above and beyond regular paint; they give you an elegant finish.

I thought I wanted to try their limestone wash, but I wanted to see the colors in-person before purchasing and paying for shipping up to Idaho. I'm really glad I did because seeing the larger swatches in a space I decided I liked the roman clay finish better and helped me choose other colors I hadn't even been considering. I also had bought their swatch deck awhile ago, but they were so kind as to update them with the new colors that had come out at no cost. BONUS: They let my mom and son hang on the couch and use the restroom while I browsed! Thanks guys!!

DAISUKE OKAMOTO (OKAINA IMAGE): My most favorite art supply store in Hollywood, CA. Great selections and many suppliers from all over the world. Their service is also so great and they let me try some pens and markers. I bought their arches paper 30” x 22” and made art of my drawing and with posca and golden high flow that I tried at the store before I bought. The art turned out really good and liked working on the paper and pens. Thank you Blue Rooster!

Clayton Varno: I recently had a fraudulent charge on my debit card, the person who stole my information used the card to make a purchase of $495.00 at Blue Rooster Art Supply. I then reached out to Blue Rooster and explained my situation to them. The person who answered the phone was Tuesday, right from the beginning she was exceptionally nice and was super understanding of my situation. She called me back later that day and explained she had found the order, notified her manager, and let me know the order would be canceled. The next day I received a phone call from the manager, Nick Gallow. He also reassured me that the order would be canceled, then offered me the information that was entered for the shipping address and email. Nick and Tuesday really went above and beyond, I couldn't have been luckier, in an unlucky situation. The Blue Rooster Art Supply is an outstanding company.

Aiden Cronus: .Despite the research I had done regarding moody, cozy color schemes for my bedroom, I became a puddling mess of a “DIY-Designer” in trying to find that elusive monochromatic pattern that spoke to me. The real “me”. The cool “me”.Well… it never said a word to me. Not a damn peep!Bryant, however, was able to sift through my over-thinking “ummms…” and nervous “hmmms…” with kindness, patience and gentle understanding. The colors displayed on the wall spoke to her like they were BFFs, as she would run from one end of the wall to the other end, to show me why stone pink can go with bright yellow .I would say, though, her two taller colleagues, did very little to help her despite my large order of cans and lengthy time spent. Not a biggie for me but wanted to make sure that F&B recognized Bryant’s hard work.Now for the paint! The quality of the paint I took home was like nothing I’ve ever purchased before—my wallet was quick to remind me.I did a two-tone wall with London Clay on the lower-half and Mouse’s Back on upper-half + ceiling. For the crown molding & baseboards, I took a chance on a muted rose color: Sulking Room Pink. And I requested their glossiest version! With an equally glossy dark grey-green called Treron for smaller accents near my door and closet door.And OMG. They’re everything I could have hoped for! You just HAVE to make sure to get the appropriate primer that matches their respective undertone
Reds painting inc: At Reds painting inc we know you really do get what you pay for having worked with many types of stains and paints in the last 30 years. If you know what you are doing and apply the paints in the correct sequence. You do achieve some miraculous stunning paint work. The Color pallet is fantastic when used on ceilings and walls. The full gloss enamel flows out and provides a sophisticated look to cabinets and doors. This is one of Los Angeles top paint stores but beware parking is tricky on Melrose Avenue.
