Mondrian Los Angeles: what do users think?

Mannie Daly: Once you learn the hotel is loosely based off Alice in Wonderland, you'll see it in a whole different light! The design choices become so thoughtfully selected, with black and white checkered bathroom floors, pops of teal, multi-dimensional side tables, etc. It combines whimsy, with luxury, with traditional. The in room dining was very fast! I had my order within 15 minutes of placing it, and it was excellent.I wish I'd had more time to enjoy the pool, but learned it's an iconic spot in LA!The hotel is in a great location being clean, safe, and being the perfect central location to lots of other parts of LA.

Eva Boguski: My family and I just spent five nights at Mondrian Los Angeles for March break. Everything was top notch at this hotel, from arrival to departure. The front desk staff, especially Rachel, were beyond helpful and kind. They accommodated every request with patience and understanding. We had a gorgeous, huge room on the 10th floor and we literally never heard a single noise all night. The room was clean and functional with lots of room to sleep our family of four comfortably. The pool is gorgeous and warm and my 12 year old stepdaughter had a ball swimming in it each day. The bar staff made us delicious mocktails. The restaurant in the hotel, Casa Madera, was the best meal we had on the trip. The lattes at Cafecito in the hotel lobby were perfect. The valet staff were excellent. The check out was seamless. I can’t say enough good things about Mondrian LA. Thank you for an amazing vacation! ♥️

Madeline Philp: Such an amazing hotel in the perfect location. The staff is great and goes above and beyond. This was my second time staying here and this time was even better than the last. The concierge is so helpful and a special shout-out to Ben who was extremely helpful when I was sick one day. He even checked on me the next day and was very kind. Also thank you to Mina for helping us book our car service.

K Victoria: We had a fantastic weekend here.I thought the pool would be cold but it was nice. Fantastic views of the city. If you go early you hear lots of birds and see the mist come up into the sky.Fun party on the Saturday night. They handed us earplugs and offered us free entry. If you can't beat em, join em. We were tired but still had fun.The rooms were clean, the showers were really cool with different faucets. The hotel shampoo was lime and bergamot. I used it over the one i brought.Wine key included with the room. Balconies were great, loved the mattresses, pillows, sheets, the breakfast restaurant in the hotel is so good too. So quiet you can have a conversation. We can't wait to come back here.

SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills: what do users think?

Isaiah Herrero: Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, the SLS Hotel at La Cienega offered a brief yet memorable stay during our exploration of the city. Despite our Airbnb in Beverly Hills, we found ourselves drawn to the hotel's elegant rooms and inviting ambiance. While our time was short, the experience was nothing short of welcoming and luxurious, providing a delightful retreat from our adventures across LA.

Ashley Thomas: The only reason this hotel gets 4 stars is because of the food and the hotel staff…the rooms themselves are 2/3 stars. But the food- omg delicious! For breakfast I had the mushroom omelette, bacon, and sourdough toast…the toast I could have done without, but the omelette was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. For a late dinner I had the mini burger + fries and it was the perfect serving size and cooked to perfection - 10/10!The hotel is walking distance to the mall, so I loved the location as well.

Tom Shearer: , and Yori were so pleasant and made sure our stay was truly relaxing. We'll be back for sure. Thank you again!!!Rooms: Rooms a large and quaint.Food & drinks: Best food I've ever had at a hotel in many years.

Joel N: Front desk guy was very kind to upgrade me to a suite. I’m a gold elite member and normally I need to ask this, I didn’t even ask it and he did it, so that was a surprise. I found the staff friendly. The design I found a little strange, with mirrors pretty much everywhere. The foyer seemed to be lacking energy, but overall good experience.

The Standard, Downtown LA: what do users think?

Beckie Slover: We ate at the restaurant, it was pretty good. The mushroom melt was outstanding. We didn't stay at the hotel.

Colton Burns: Upgrading to the suite was super easy! Room was super fun, dope shower, and awesome view. Just needed a microwave and thicker bathroom door lolRooms: Interesting design, fun quality furniture but no microwave!

Aycan Basar: Overall was a lovely stay last december, staff were super kind and helpful. Thank you!

Vibin’ With KK: I called to switch the name on my reservation to my sisters name and I spoke with a man named José. I gave him my information and he repeated the reservation back to me and I realized that I booked my reservation for the wrong weekend! José ended up taking care of everything and he found a room that was even BETTER than the one that I had originally booked. He was extremely professional, kind, as well as all of the other staff members! Thank you guys for making my sister's trip BEYOND what she could've imagined! 🙏🏽✨️ Highly recommend staying here!

KJames__: on our “Get away trip!” Hope to visit again soon.

Renee Chapman-Best: Beautiful renovation of the classic Standard. The staff is exceptional and the rooms are spacious. DTLA is DTLA.Nearby activities: FigAt7th is worth a shopping visit.Food & drinks: Make sure you visit the hotel diner for a meal or two. Chef and staff are amazing. Added bonus is the DJ spinning nice oldies.

Silver Lake Pool & Inn: what do users think?

David Petrusich: and the water was heated which was lovely. The bar was closed, but I believe you could order from the restaurant downstairs, Marco Polo.It is very expensive to stay here in my opinion, with some weekends reaching $600 for a standard room. When you spend that much, you definitely expect a bit more of a luxury experience. For the amount you pay, the service felt void, with most of the staff sustaining a somewhat numb and “blah” attitude. I had many encounters where I felt like I was providing them with customer service vs. the other way around. No one was rude, but no one seemed enthusiastic and they were definitely all doing the least. This was everywhere from the bellhop, receptionists, and restaurant staff. Is it worth the price? That’s debatable. I would stay again, but if the service didn’t improve I wouldn’t come back. From what I can tell, they have an uninspired staff - maybe it’s time for some raises or new management!

Kevinnobacon (Kevinnobacon): My favorite place to stay in LA. Location is 10/10 right in the heart of Silverlake, next to great restaurants and cafes. The service is fantastic - shoutout to Miguel for making our stay extra comfortable. The rooms have a gorgeous design and are quite functional - great place to hangout.

Echo Park Indoor Pool: what do users think?

Daphne Marina: Friendly staff, clean warm pool and staffed security for your belongings.

Jesse Rothstein: Great pool for swimming laps year-round, and staff is always nice and helpful. I only wish it was open for more hours of the morning, not just 6am - 8am on weekdays.

Julio Salguero: Fun with the whole family & I even signed up my kids for swimming classes. It's also indoor so no worrying about getting sunburn.

Diego Santay: Good pool

Guillermo Orozco: Nice pool

Alice Guillen: I really like coming to this pool for my kids lessons. They offer free and low cost classes and are open year round. Staff is nice and the pool is large and open year round. Unfortunately, the parking is small and there are a lot of homeless coming in to shower. There are signs stating no nudity, meaning you have to shower in your swim suit. People don't follow this rule, specifically on the men's side. My boys have told me that there are naked old men walking around. My husband confirmed this and has even confronted these men and pointed at the signs. Staff has been made aware but they don't enforce their no nudity rule. Also you have to walk through the locker rooms in order to get in. Wish there was an option to go around.

felecia wesley: Hotel highlights Luxury

Tia Collins: This hotel has definitely been a home away from home. I travel often and a Platinum Elite member and the staff is very professional and always welcoming. On my last few visits Mr. Daniel Bruington has always gone above and beyond to make my experience more than amazing for myself and my children, and I am extremely grateful. My 8 year old broke her toe and he had a microwave brought up so she could pop her popcorn and watch a movie. This may seem like a small thing, but it made a memory for her that she will always remember. It’s the little things and the attention to detail and noticing things without having to ask. Daniel’s professionalism and work ethic is extraordinary and goes a very long way. The rooms are also spacious and extremely clean. It’s also very safe and private which is also very important to me. When I’m in the area this hotel will always be my first choice.

Clif Kimpson: Top of the line experience, small temp problem with the room. They fixed it with a space heater within 20 minutes of my call. I didn't have much of a view, but so what... definitely first class.Rooms: Roomy clean and timeless.Walkability: There are theaters, restart and UCLA within a mile.Food & drinks: I ate at STK on property 😋. The food was good if it was a bit overpriced.

Barry Schiller: This place was amazing in every way. It's the perfect place of you want to be in downtown LA. Easy access to Broad Museum and Walt Disney Hall as well as Whole Foods and a variety of restaurants and LA's famous food hall. If you are a fitness enthusiast or plan to work remotely the LAAC will meet all of your needs.Noteworthy details: The fitness center is state of the art. They have techno source equipment, an incredible pool , spa services and roof deck with great views of Downtown LA. Great work spaces and dining options too.

Andrea D'Ascoli: but perhaps the best ever.Convenient parking next door which has an agreement

Arslan Umarov: Nice place to stay if you have work in downtown. Nice gym, steam room, sauna, pool. Nice ambiance in the restaurant with live music. All employees are very attentive, professional, and friendly.Safety: Good security. Feel safe inside.

Dale Curtis: Honestly, this place is great. If you like to workout when you travel, this will be unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Imagine a gold’s gym from the 1880’s that’s been kept up, combined with a hotel, combined with an old school feel and multiple dining options and 100 nooks and crannies and you’d kind of have this place. I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels, this is a great, unique experience.

Nick Arquette: Great location downtown next to top restaurants and amazing friendly staff. Great value and lot of amenities.Food & drinks: Amazing new restaurant !

The Highlight Room: what do users think?

Roman Rios: Great little find in the Hollywood area. Rooftop bar and restaurant right next to the pool with amazing views of Hollywood Including the hollywood sign, my wife came here before we went to a concert at the Hollywood bowl. Perfect. They were able to park my giant a** lifted truck at the valet, which was a real pleasure. Otherwise, it's a real b**** to park. Really cool staff but really come for the drinks and the views and the atmosphere, really great. A++Vegetarian options: Definitely a couple of vegetarian pasta dishes and salads.Parking: Unfortunately, I'm not the best reviewer of parking because I drive such a big truck. It's almost impossible to park anywhere. So when you do find a place that can do it, you gotta take advantage of it at any price. Small cars should have no problem.Kid-friendliness: Not necessarily kid friendly. I think you can bring your kids. They would probably love it, but it looks more like an adult play area

The Hollywood Roosevelt: what do users think?

Sara Roger: Staying at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt during the TCM film festival was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were transported to the golden age of Hollywood. The location couldn't have been more perfect for festival attendees, with theaters and event venues just steps away. The accommodations were luxurious and meticulously maintained, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-world charm. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the décor, which perfectly captured the glamour of Hollywood's heyday.Dining at the hotel was an absolute delight! The variety of culinary offerings exceeded our expectations, with each meal surpassing the last. Whether indulging in a decadent breakfast at The Tropicana Café or savoring a gourmet dinner at The Shirley Brasserie, every bite was a culinary masterpiece. The staff at the Hollywood Roosevelt went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly set them apart. From recommending the best local attractions to accommodating our every request, their hospitality was unmatched.Overall, our experience at the Hollywood Roosevelt was nothing short of magical. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and already planning our next visit. Five stars doesn't do justice to the exceptional experience we had. Thank you, Hollywood Roosevelt, for an unforgettable stay!

Jayden Burke: two nights It took longer than we planned. The first night we had a leaking air conditioner, but the bed was great. I told the front desk about the air conditioner and put it in the new room. The new room was perfect and very quick to help. The service was great.Had breakfast there and it was perfect. I didn't eat dinner, but I wanted to. The location is in a very good location. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Richard Horan: , we had decent space for our family of three. There are garages nearby if you don't want to pay the high rate for on-site parking. For the rate we paid, I would definitely stay here again.
