Perch: what do users think?

Erdem: As someone from NYC, I wasn't fascinated by the view. LA's downtown area seemed quite sketchy, too. The food, however, was amazing! The service was friendly too. At the end of our dinner the manager came to check if we had a good time. He was very personable and gave us great recommendations of places to go after dinner.Ps. Valet parking is available.

Olaf Thamm: A must do when in LA!

Olivia Rankin: I truly enjoyed my experience at perch. I arrived during the happy hour around 4 PM. This was the perfect time to go. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded and we got one of the best seats in the restaurant that overlooked the city. Not only was the view awesome, but the food was also very delicious. 🤤I recommend coming during the happy hour honestly because you get the opportunity to order a little bit of this and a little bit of that. During this time you can order from their happy hour menu and fromfrom the dinner menu.

Swats: The rooftop on the 15th floor is great, but it cannot accommodate many groups. Just five groups can occupy most of the amazing view, leaving no seating space for others. It would have been better if there were more seats. The patio on the lower floor is fantastic, and the ambiance is even better than on the rooftop. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the warmth from the heaters. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the food as the kitchen was closed, but the other service staff were polite and friendly.

Becky A.: Really lovely rooftop - gorgeous views during the day and at night.Got the chance to come here for a group event and tried the chicken skewers and brioche beef sliders and they were really good.Had the Moscow mule which was more on the sweeter side than I’m used to due to the candied ginger but it was still a decent drink.

The Dresden Restaurant & Lounge: what do users think?

John Kemler: Service: 5/5

Jeanerette Legaux: An authentic slice of Old Hollywood glamour and history. It almost felt as if Betty White, Lucille Ball and Marilyn Monroe were going to show up for girls night. Wonderful vide.Parking: Please read the parking sighs carefully

Madeleine Davis: Yum espresso martini

hairbylaalba: Atmosphere: 5/5

C Stocker: . We loved the authentic vibe of an old Hollywood bar and restaurant. The decor is not perfect, but genuinely channels the glory years of LA and Tinseltown. The music playlist is epic, the sound system not perfect, but again this is the joy of Dresden. We ate in the bar and the food was well prepared and presented, no delays and served by a happy and charming team. While there’s always a great new spot in the city being recommended, we know half will close within a year. We say visit Dresden, enjoy the real vibe of Hollywood, have fun with well priced cocktails and food and keep a great place going for decades more. Make it your local!

Noe Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Tanuomaaleu Ah You: Took my friend there for his Birthday and they went over the top with celebrating his birthday. They brought a personalized dessert with the piano man singing him a birthday song. Thank you for the excellent service and for personalizing our evening. Thank you Noe Restaurant and staff from the Hostess to the server and for expediter, it was 5 star service! We will be back!

Mayra Aguilar: What a beautiful experience all thanks to our server Evencio! I don’t believe we would have had the ambience we received if it wasn’t for him. He went out of his way to turn on not only a fire pit, but also moved around heaters to ensure we had 2 working ones to keep us each individually warm. Amazing experience!!! I definitely recommend you come and visit and make sure you request the legend himself, Evencio.

Beauty & Essex: what do users think?

Rodrigo “funning”: I’ve heard nothing but great things about this spot and it lived up to the high expectations. The entry way with all the vintage/memorabilia items is a really nice touch. The Notorious BIG action figure is a great piece.I started with a dozen oysters, their classic thick cut fillet, broccolini, grilled cheese, smoked bacon & tomato soup dumplings, crispy prawns and their Burlesque show old fashion. The oysters tasted very fresh and the sauces with grated horseradish were great additions. The broccolini was delicious. The dumplings were really good and my favorite of the bunch. The crispy prawns were seasoned just right and delicious. I ended up eating the whole shrimp, shell and all.The thick cut fillet at medium rare was delicious. Cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. It was very tender and flavorful. The drink complimented the meal & it was an overall great dining experience. The customer service was excellent and I’d definitely come back here again. The ambience is very dark but welcoming. The decor is excellent and it a a very “instagramable” spot. Parking can be difficult and with limited street parking.

Matias Grosso: I loved the placeIt's beautiful and cheap

A V: The level of execution of their dishes was top notch. Every item was exquisite and prepared perfectly. I've had a lot delicious meals in various countries, this was one of the tastiest.A bit pricey but your tastebuds will thank you. Also a cool Hollywood vibe, mixed crowd , great music selection. Must see experience

Patrick Warren: Food was really amazing. Service was above average and the atmosphere was decent. Not necessarily my type of scene when I am spending that kind of money on a meal but I get it. The music was really loud and I could barely speak to my wife or hesr the waiter. I get the appeal but it's just not my type of atmosphere. The food was incredible but I would still rather go somewhere else just based on the atmosphere and jot the food for that kind of money.

West Restaurant & Lounge: what do users think?

Jake Egbert: Loved the food and the view!We made reservations for brunch... But didn't need them. We enjoyed great service and a beautiful morning view.I had almond crusted French toast and Jay had a choose-your-own-ingtedients scramble. Super tasty! I loved the fresh berries and the crisp toasted almond batter on the toast. The drip coffee was also delicious and it always tastes better when the cream comes out of a nice pitcher doesn't it?Next time we are in town we'll definitely check out the happy hour up here.

Carol Platt: We moved our son into UCLA the day we came for dinner. The atmosphere and service made it such a wonderful close to our chaotic move in day. My husband and I hadn't eaten in 12 hours, so we got the scandalous Fried Chicken special. The portions were large, but so delicious. Our son enjoyed the burger and gobbled it all up. Five stars to Johnson that made our evening so wonderful. My only complaint was from the bar. Our wine glasses were not worth the price. Also, we went to Happy hour the following night and the Pigs in a Blanket came out to about $3/ dog for a super small portion. The Martini was full of ice and very weak. Also, not worth the money. My 5 star rating is for the first night's dinner. Amazing 👏

The Black Cat: what do users think?

Harrison Broker: The Black Cat is a great place for a casual meal alone or even a group dinner with friends. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating with their recommendations and overall service. Even the kitchen is mighty fast, I was amazed at how fast my groups meals were prepared. The Chicken Paillard and Steak Frites are classics that are well executed here. Even the Beef Cheek Ragu was divine. The Crème Brûlée was probably one of the best I’ve had outside of France. You can’t go wrong with a meal from The Black Cat, I definitely recommend coming here for dinner as the lounge vibe is great with buzzing conversation in every corner of the restaurant.

Melody: what do users think?

g gerl: Nice natural wine selection to go or by the glass. Liked how they had extra descriptions on the bottles in the shop area. Amazing taco pop up there day went

Ilana “Ana” Llama: , table next to me loved it, though! The sparkling wine is amazing. Friendly staff, got a bit busy when I went. Y'all did great lol breathe and move swiftly. Don't forget to check on your tables.Lovely atmosphere and night overall. Definitely going to return to try more of the menu.

camila carrillo: I went to Melody on my last night in LA with my husband and had an extraordinary time!We were seated outside at a cozy candlelit table. We ordered a bottle of white burgundy and the skirt steak quesadilla from the resident pop-up taqueria and let me tell you that this was by far one of our top dining experiences! They have a really great wine list of so many great things to choose from. We ordered one quesadilla to start and inhaled it because we could not get enough of it. We ended up ordering a second one 😋Cute, cozy, affordable spot for a date night, solo date, or friend date! Highly recommend ❤️ can’t wait to come back next time we’re in LA

Brian “Chef Breeze”: Melody is a well known Pop-Up Hotspot in the heart of Silverlake. They always host well "vetted" chefs to promote their menus alongside their alcohol selection. Normally, they have a live dj playing chill house or downtempo. They do charge a 4% employee benefit on the tabs so be aware and not unpleasantly surprised when the check comes, because they really provide a good service. So far, parking has been generous on the streets close by. They do get super crowded on busy nights and some well known chefs.

Laure BAUDRY: Super cute wine bar and restaurant! It’s a shame there aren’t more wines by the glass. Almost no Californian reference, but that’s a bias.Bohemian chic, a nice clientele of young professionals.

A.O.C.: what do users think?

Nilu F: Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!

Edward Blazejewski: We enjoyed a nice dinner during our visit to LA. The focaccia was delicious and had a perfect crust. I ordered the fried chicken and it was so tender and juicy. The portion sizes are smaller and meant for sharing. We ended up being quite full after our meal. The food was very good, but didn’t blow us away. All very simple and fresh, so can’t complain! The restaurant itself is very nice and great for a nice dinner.

William Mazur: The best brunch in LA, not even close. While there are a lot of fantastic brunch places in Los Angeles and many have had to make adjustments during the pandemic. AOC is undoubtedly my favorite brunch in Los Angeles. The fact that there are more than seven truly rockstar dishes, while also laying claim to the best sticky bun, the best egg sandwich, one of the best burgers, the best crab omelette, and perhaps the best fried chicken and waffle in Los Angeles, the atmosphere, incredible selection of beverages and remarkable service andstaff make this a must.

Briar Burns: Amazing visit! Suzanne was so accommodating and even sent complimentary drinks our way. The food was amazing; halibut was incredibly seasoned and the steak was to die for. Recommend ordering sides as serving sizes are slightly on the smaller side. The fingerling potatoes were good but honestly a little under-salted. House made bread was soft on the inside and has delicious crispy crust. All in all we will be back—every single member of staff was on their A-game and I’ll be thinking about the halibut for a long time.

The Highlight Room: what do users think?

Roman Rios: Great little find in the Hollywood area. Rooftop bar and restaurant right next to the pool with amazing views of Hollywood Including the hollywood sign, my wife came here before we went to a concert at the Hollywood bowl. Perfect. They were able to park my giant a** lifted truck at the valet, which was a real pleasure. Otherwise, it's a real b**** to park. Really cool staff but really come for the drinks and the views and the atmosphere, really great. A++Vegetarian options: Definitely a couple of vegetarian pasta dishes and salads.Parking: Unfortunately, I'm not the best reviewer of parking because I drive such a big truck. It's almost impossible to park anywhere. So when you do find a place that can do it, you gotta take advantage of it at any price. Small cars should have no problem.Kid-friendliness: Not necessarily kid friendly. I think you can bring your kids. They would probably love it, but it looks more like an adult play area

Andreina Vera: Spectacular family experience...

[None]: , and the only thing better than the food is the service by a warm, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. The portions are rich taste and in aesthetic value, bountiful and captivating in flavor and presentation, and are a good size and not disappointing like other high-end restaurants where you're served foam on half a pea and a grape stem on the left of the plate only to be charged $400 for "the chef's vision"
