The attention to cleanliness, social distancing etc was fantastic, so I felt safe and comfortable there immediately.I had some physical issues causing me pain, primarily acetabular labral tear in my right hip. My doctor suggested muscle strengthening via weight training and I found Lift on a Google search.I have been going once per week and I have been really happy with my progress. I have been getting stronger and am in significantly less hip pain than I was prior to starting. It's challenging in all the right ways and I look forward to going.Dirk and Chenell are both excellent. They are kind, patient and great teachers. I have always found teacher/trainer correction important in yoga and I value the same at Lift, so I'm able to get stronger and not hurt myself. Chenell is also great about reminding me which exercises are which. You'd think I'd know by now, but she's always really patient and nice when I'm looking at my list of things to do and look super confused, haha.It's also a great atmosphere, no judgement, good music.Thank you, Lift!

Beryl Harris: I enrolled in the Data Analytics course for GA during their Aug-Oct session. I was able to collaborate with students from all different industries. I took this course because I am a data analyst in banking and really wanted to learn new technical skills that I could apply right away. I had never used SQL or Tableau before but I was able to learn those within a matter of weeks! I think the best part about GA is the workshops and events that they hold. I have been able to connect with lots of people. GA makes learning very attainable for anyone!
Simone Wojtaszek: GA gave me the resources I needed to completely change my career. The intensive program is in-person and full-time, forcing me to dedicate myself to learning new skills. GA's downtown LA campus is in a great location, close to the Arts District. GA's career placement program has been very supportive and responsive. And the GA alumni network has been a source of mentorship for me. Overall, I'm glad I did the program. Like anything, you get out of it what you put in.
Elizabeth Messick: General Assembly is amazing! I took the WDI course in the Fall of 2018 and I found a job as a Front End Web Developer in January of 2019. I started out knowing nothing about web development and now I can confidently build my own websites and web apps. The outcomes department was very helpful in my journey to finding my dream job. Although the course was hard, it definitely paid off in the end! I recommend General Assembly to anyone who wants to switch their careers and is willing to put in the work!

Pato Ordoñana: I took the Digital Mkt accelerated 1 week course and in general terms I can say it was a great experience. It's definitely a lot of information to digest in 1 week and I think that the final presentation complicates even more the equation because by day 3 everybody is more focused on doing that, than on processing all the different topics. However, I think most of the relevant topics are covered, the teacher shows a lot of knowledge about digital marketing and the course is well structured. Additionally, the school is really nice and well located, plus is a great place to get to know cool people. Overall it's a great option but I would try to do the part-time instead.

Gina Martin del Campo: I have been learning Italian for 2 years with Garrett Strommen. I'm 3rd generation Sicilian and always wanted to learn Italian. Although it is often challenging, it has been such a blessing to have been able to be learn the language I'm most passionate about. Garrett, who grew up in Rome is so patient with me and an overall wonderful teacher. I highly recommend Strommen languages for anyone who is seeking to learn a new language either with a private teacher or in a group class setting.

My French classes with Stephanie were the jumpstart I needed to start learning French again after years of "I should really take French classes." Cherif Gueye: Since December, I’ve been learning French with Erin, she’s genuinely the best teacher I’ve had. So kind, patient and specific to my ambitions in the language. She carefully builds programs for me that come to life in our 1:1 sessions. After about three months, I was comfortable enough to only speak French during our classes. She created a sage space for me to stumble into words and phrases, never making me feel like I wasn’t improving. In July, I went to Europe and saw family, surprising them with my ability in French. Shoutout to Erin for her teaching!

I have frequented over 30+ saunas across the country and I will say this is hands down MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE sauna/studio of all time. The first time I booked, I was greeted by Lani. She welcomed me into the studio on a first name basis and made me feel so welcome. The studio itself is a vibe! It's super clean with the ambiance and lighting being a mood. They offer you a cold towel every time and ask whether you would like it with essential oils. Their pricing is very affordable with different package options or a single session. I feel so welcome every time I stop in as if I'm in a warm, nourishing community space. My first session was a week ago and I've already been back 3x. This is my new go to studio! Thank you Evolve Sanctuary for curating such a beautiful space!

Julia Negroni: Evolve dance studio is the real deal! By far the best pole classes I’ve ever taken. Many places focus too much on conditioning, without much time for practice. Here was 90% practice, and the conditioning just happens from trying the moves over and over. I felt so accomplished that I could achieve more than I thought I ever could! The photo was taken just in my second class. Can’t wait to work my way up and unleash my inner goddess. ✨But not only are the instructors amazing, the service I received from Maddy over text has been top notch. She follows up, and even booked me a class when it was 9pm at night; not to mention, went out of her way to recommend treatments for my kinked neck.Lastly, as a tall girl, I appreciate the spacing between the poles. Lots of room to do your thing and not clash with others!If you’ve been thinking about trying pole, just do it here and look no further.

Sergio Macias: I enrolled in beginner Greek 3 years ago when remote classes were made available. Completing the enrollment process online was slightly confusing as I was completely new to the process but the staff member that called to follow up was patient, friendly and most of all helpful. I felt very well taken care of.My instructor Stefania is always positive and encouraging and our pace is so catered to my needs. Classes are both textbook heavy, filled with real life lessons and include rounds of practice that are invaluable. I have learned so much ... we navigate through the complexities of the language with no short cuts so we have a deep understanding. I especially enjoy learning the background to words that help put perspective into what has become an intuition for the Greek language - even with what still seems like a limited vocabulary. I am excited to use it with family abroad and have genuinely enjoyed sharing the experience with my classmates. If I had the time I would take on another language or brush up on my Spanish - the point is I am motivated and happy to be enrolled and learning at BHLII have a very heavy work schedule and a full life so I am grateful to have been allowed make up classes - and it is fun to have an occasional student visit my class as they make up a class too.

Angela Kalinowski: Very well organized and amazing language school. I originally started a few years ago taking Portuguese with a lovely teacher named Cristiane. Now recently started Spanish class. All classes are small so you feel like it is almost private but with the bonus that you can interact in your language of choice w classmates. I can see the owner takes a lot of pride in choosing wonderful teachers and front desk staff. Lots of good vibes and energy all around! Big bonus that parking is also available in the building for a small fee after validation.

All of my teachers were amazing, and I'm not just saying it to be nice. They are friendly and present the material in an easy understandable way. Ashleigh Chilton: Daria and Michael are fantastic. I bleached my hair at home and had a homemade haircut that had grown out in a clownish fashion. They were patient and just amazing. There were 2 other instructors who assisted, but I don't remember their names. They were equally amazing, especially the barber with the long luxurious curly hair. Everyone was friendly and professional. The salon was inviting and clean. They even had purse hooks. I am going to come back for a corrective color.
Fearless Plays: I had my hair retouched and colored by Brandi Kuhry. What an absolute amazing job she did. She was so professional, and very knowledgeable as to what my needs are. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she matched it exactly. She also blow dried and styled my hair so when I left it looked beautiful.I would highly recommend Brandi to anyone and I definitely will be following her wherever she goes after graduation.

I work across the street and was told about their services and the pricing so I was interested to come check it out.Just for others to be aware: this is a school and they are gaining experience and may not be at their best. If you have high expectations you might want to pass this up. They have you sign a waiver before so you’re aware that this is a school and they’re learning.I got a facial and my eyebrows done. I waited for about 10 min and was greeted and taken downstairs. I had a great experience.The girl asked if I liked my brows and to not be afraid to tell her if I didn’t and I asked her to just fix one spot up and I was happy. I got a facial done as well and it was very relaxing and I was very happy with my experience and I am all about giving my time to someone who wants to learn and get better at something they’re interested in. I was prepared to possibly have bad brows come out but everything turned out great.I was very happy with my experience and the friendly service I got. I will come back again.

Ali Van Dam: Our 7 year son has been taking private piano lessons with Andrew for the last few months and we couldn’t be happier! We wanted him to start learning to read music and he showed interest in the piano. He was nervous at first, but as soon as he popped out of the first lesson he shouted “I LOVE it!” And has repeated that after each weekly lesson. He is encouraged to compose songs and explore the music in a way that is fun and experiential, so different than the boring lessons I grew up with! Bloom’s philosophy is that learning music should be fun above all else, then the drive and desire will develop naturally. I love this approach.They had a parent’s night out in March that was free for enrolled students and only $20 for others. Our two kids had a blast while we got to have dinner and drinks at one of the many local spots. It was fantastic and I hope they offer this again!We love Bloom and feel so lucky to have it in our neighborhood. I expect it to be part of our children’s music and dance rotation for many years. Many thanks to teacher Andrew and the entire Bloom team for creating such a wonderful space for kids to “bloom!”

I absolutely love my instructors they are so knowledgeable, helpful and supportive to my goals.The Atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to my classes of which IDo 6 Classes per week .The Manager Amanda is Absolutely Amazing she checks in with my progress and to see if there’s anything she can do to help which I think is so sweet!If you’re looking for low impact exercise or to strengthen your Core and lengthen your muscles or if you have been injured come Join us I definitely recommend.

I've been going there since they opened in November and am so happy that I signed up. I'm an unlimited member and go every day of the week. All of the instructors are fantastic and have their own styles that offer great diversity throughout the week. This studio doesn't deserve 3 or 4 stars, it should be at 5/5 without a doubt.I look forward to my classes every day and recommend this studio to anyone interested in trying pilates or in need of a studio!

After a few weeks, I could already tell that I was stronger. I was able to do more of the exercises to completion and felt my form getting consistently better.All of the instructor are attentive, keep us safe, and push us to push ourselves. Everyone is friendly and willing to work with you and your body to make sure you get the most out of your experience, while protecting any problem areas
