Tony Horton: I love this studio!! I’m in my mid-forties and I’ve never danced in my life. I was very nervous about starting a new class and thought I might be with students that had a dance background and I’d be in over my head. I started taking tap dancing there and I am loving it. The instructor is so encouraging and positive and very sweet. The other student are so friendly- we’re all at different levels and that doesn’t matter. There are adults of all ages in class, and I can keep up and I don’t feel out of place.I absolutely love the experience I’m having there and I look forward to every class. I’m also getting a great workout while I’m having fun.

My favorite class is level 2 salsa on Sundays with Deborah. She comes up with some very interesting patterns and it's a challenge but I love that there's always something new to work on in class. I also recently started taking tap with Maria. She's super great with beginners. Sometimes BYS hosts themed social dance parties. I really enjoyed their Halloween and Valentines Day salsa and bachata party! The studio offers amazing classes and hosts a great, warm and welcoming community. I can't wait til they open the new studio in Marina Del Rey.

Molly Kron: I took Body Groove class with Nikki and had the absolute time of my life!When I first heard of Body Groove, I wasn’t sure about the style of dance or how difficult it would be. I have taken a lot of dance classes over the years, and this one was the easiest to pick up by far. All the moves that the class does in unison are open to interpretation, and there are no wrong answers! Seriously! If you’re rusty, have two left feet, or you’ve never even danced before, you can joyfully dance your way through this class. AND if you’re an accomplished dancer, you will have a blast expressing yourself and get a great workout.Nikki was a fabulous teacher: hilarious, uplifting, and great at breaking down the moves. She was attentive to the needs of everyone in class, providing thoughtful options for modifications that still felt fully engaged with the dances. As a bonus, she had so many creative interpretations of the motions that it was fun to watch her for inspiration throughout the songs. I don’t know how anybody on earth could have gotten through even a few minutes of this class without a huge smile on their face.It felt like having an energetic dance party with friends on a weekday morning! I had so much fun that I didn’t even notice that I was doing an insane amount of cardio. Go check it out! You will not regret it!

Sara Rutenberg: I took Body Groove which is taught by Nikki Tilmouth. I always feel like an idiot in dance class, but this was no ordinary dance class. Nikki's exuberant enthusiasm, choice of music, and amazing choreography made everything easy to follow, and I had a wonderful time. If you want to have fun, dance, and just feel great about your body, take this class. There are even chairs to use as props, or if you need to do some sitting movement!. It's truly unique and you will enjoy every minute.

Christina Grace: I'm 41. My WHOLE LIFE I've wanted to dance but due to where i live and other busy stuff i havent been able to. But this is AMAZING!! I can go at my own pace, choose what style i want to learn, what level I'm at, length of classes, etc. It's really an endless supply of choices. And it makes me feel super cool. I AM way cool but now even more so! LOL. Also its a great workout without being a lame workout video. I'm just thrilled and the price is ridiculously affordable and so worth it. Thank you Steezy for allowing me cross something iff my bucket list.

I have frequented over 30+ saunas across the country and I will say this is hands down MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE sauna/studio of all time. The first time I booked, I was greeted by Lani. She welcomed me into the studio on a first name basis and made me feel so welcome. The studio itself is a vibe! It's super clean with the ambiance and lighting being a mood. They offer you a cold towel every time and ask whether you would like it with essential oils. Their pricing is very affordable with different package options or a single session. I feel so welcome every time I stop in as if I'm in a warm, nourishing community space. My first session was a week ago and I've already been back 3x. This is my new go to studio! Thank you Evolve Sanctuary for curating such a beautiful space!

Julia Negroni: Evolve dance studio is the real deal! By far the best pole classes I’ve ever taken. Many places focus too much on conditioning, without much time for practice. Here was 90% practice, and the conditioning just happens from trying the moves over and over. I felt so accomplished that I could achieve more than I thought I ever could! Can’t wait to work my way up and unleash my inner goddess. ✨But not only are the instructors amazing, the service I received from Maddy over text has been top notch. She follows up, and even booked me a class when it was 9pm at night; not to mention, went out of her way to recommend treatments for my kinked neck.Lastly, as a tall girl, I appreciate the spacing between the poles. Lots of room to do your thing and not clash with others!If you’ve been thinking about trying pole, just do it here and look no further.

Wasnt too crowded. Came at 1015 and paid $20. Still the same dj. Saw one guy couldnt get in bc he didnt have a collard shirt. The seat area was closed. Part of the main floor is now a payed table area. They should really try something new with the music and stuff, could be better. I was danced out and the music was getting weak so I left at like 1235. Its worth it though. I also saw people wearing whatever as well, they probably payed extra money is my guess. Age is mixed which i love. This place is pretty mature though. Club was very weak in the beginning. Towards 11 it picked up.Old review: I rate a 3.7. Its 3 floors. Went on a saturday. Its like $10 before 1030. For the basement hiphop floor its the Same dj and 90% the same rotation every Saturday for the past two yrs haha. website is informal and easy to navigate. The main floor is usually all kinds of spanish and some mostly edm a hint of techno and house maybe. The other floor is usually reggaeton bachata spanish rock banda merengue etc... crowd is mixed and 21+. Church clothes! Coat check available. Plenty of seats and stairs haha.Fyi: Club picks up the usual LA time, 11ish. My take on LA clubs: they are hit or miss, Takes a while for people to loosen up, Crowd is usually stiff, People start leaving and gets jaded around 2am. Haha. And the music is always okay. Never consistent with top hits back to back. Im from ny so my standards are different. Where are the top40popmusic party spots though.
