I purchased a new one just in case. Luckily I just happened to find Computer Palace on google. Navid answered my email right away and suggested I bring it in. He was very polite and answered all my questions. He said I probably needed a new LCD screen only or he could transfer the data to my new computer. His prices were right and I decided to go with the new screen. He had my computer ready later that day. I ended up taking the new computer back because I was so happy I got my old computer again. I will definitely keep going to Computer Palace. for all my computers maintenance.

George Rogers: The new MacBook Pro had an unexpected bath when the pup jumped up and knocked over a glass of chardonnay. Apple wanted 760 to replace the motherboard. Opened it up and dried it out - it tried to turn on, over and over again. The guys at SFCR took it in, and opened it up. He's cleaning it as we speak, but harvested my daughters report off the drive and gave me the data on a CD so that she can finish it this weekend. Felt really comfortable with their explanations and the metered parking out front was easy. Love this shop.

Never have I had the absolute pleasure of working with anyplace that even remotely compares to Stan's Tech Garage. They diagnosed, repaired and made fully operational my computer which had a failing hard drive and impacted Windows OS. My computer runs better than it ever has. The price was very fair; Their shop, well-designed, clean, organized and professional. Even if you live 50 miles away, that trip will be time very well spent. Most places engage in a lot of trial and error, guesswork and randomness. Not these guys: They get it done right, the first time.

He also accepted to help me with a faster turn around of a few hours for the diagnosis when I asked for it. Most places want two days. I went to the store and he was there ready to take care of my External hard drives. He mentioned that the costs for the diagnostic may be $69. However, he was pretty fair when later on he lower the expense to half based on the relatively simple work done. My first great experience will definitely take me back to Tech Studio

I was able to drop it off right before closing on a Monday, and got a call back by 10:30am the next morning with an assessment.I was quoted a really reasonable price on getting a new part, but they were also very accommodating when I asked to instead use a refurbished replacement part that I was able to source myself, and only charged me for the work to install the part I supplied.The finished result came back to me in like-new condition and works perfectly. 5 stars!

V V: My 2012 MacBook Pro fell victim to a flying cocktail at a DJ gig. Things appeared to be ok at first, but then it started getting kernel panics when using the rear USB port and some devices wouldn't work at all or intermittently. I gave Advance a call and gave them the rundown. They were honest in their prognosis and conservatively advised me that they might be able to repair the liquid damage. I took my chance and 3 days business days later, they called me to ask for a repair approval. They had located the damaged parts on the logic board and reassured me they could fix it. I gave the green light and received a working computer 5 business days after I dropped off the mac. It's been 5 months since the repair and the computer has been working perfectly fine. The final cost was on the lower end of their quote so I couldn't be happier. I had checked around town at 3 other repairs shops beforehand, but have to say they came correct!

Other shops wanted over a grand to replace the board and even suggested I bought a new computer, while Mac Repair was able to go in and fix the defective part, so I could keep the board and save a big chunk of money.
