What better recommendation could I find than from their repair guys? They pointed me to DV warehouse.I had a bevy of quasi Jurassic Macs that I wanted to restore before relocating from LA. I also have some important software that won’t run on new Macs. Carol and her techs got them all running for reasonable prices and supplied a working older MacBook Pro to keep the software functioning. She also pointed me to some suppliers for the older adapters and cables.While you may only have to deal with them by mail, they also have some amazing outsider art paintings on the wall thanks to her husband’s art businesses. I encourage you to support their business because repair shops this good are few and far between, and sorely needed in this age of disposable hardware.

I called the local number to ask a few questions and Mathew picked up his cell from a location out of town. The request I made was significant and Mathew put the wheels into motion to quickly satisfy my order.I picked up the devices on a Friday so that I could work over the weekend. When I tried to use the RAID drives they were incompatible with my M1 MacBook, which was easily unforeseen. I contacted Mathew and he put me in touch with Victor at the shop on Monday. Victor spent a solid hour trying to solve the issue through various drivers and utilities from the device manufacturer. After all the efforts failed, their solution was to offer me a compatible laptop to use at no cost.They also offered to test everything to make sure that it would work. After picking up the laptop and setting up everything at home, it became quite evident that I needed more time to complete my task than was originally contracted for. But, due to the fact that I had technical issues with their drives, Mathew offered me more time under the same contract.Each and every person with whom I have interacted has been courteous, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way that they can. He's cleaning it as we speak, but harvested my daughters report off the drive and gave me the data on a CD so that she can finish it this weekend. Felt really comfortable with their explanations and the metered parking out front was easy. Love this shop.
