Ayanna Kennedy: I went to Fleming's before a concert at the Peacock Theater in LA Live. I love steakhouses and dine at them regularly, and I would consider this a good steakhouse overall. The food was really good and the cocktails were nice and balanced. We had a bit of an issue with getting seated and serviced initially, but the service definitely improved throughout the dining experience. It was a bit louder than I would say a typical steakhouse is, but I assume that's the area it's located and the fact that there were events in L.A. Live. I would want to come back to try it out again.

robert squyres: First time eating here was on 2/24/2024. It was fantastic food and a great experience. Our table split a couple sharable sides.The first item was the Fleming's Potatoes, which to me was a very rich and flavorful au gratin type of dish.The second item was the crab cakes. I have never had a crab cake before, and I think these spoiled them from here on out. They were jam packed with crab, seared perfectly, and the red pepper and lime sauce was perfect with them.The third item was the flash fried brussels sprouts. I have had brussels sprouts before, but these were the best I have ever had. The crispy texture, along with the sauce that was on it was perfect. I can only guess what was on them, but it tasted like balsamic vinaigrette with either honey or brown sugar. I will have to try and figure out how to cook these at home!For dinner I had the Main Filet Mignon with the Diablo Shrimp on top. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth!Accompanying dinner they served nice fresh bread with 2 different butters. The first one was a champagne infused butter, and the second was a cheddar and herb butter. Both were fantastic, but if I had to choose I would take the champagne butter any day.The other two dishes we had was the Petite Filet Mignon and the Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. I do not have pictures of those two dishes, but I was told that both dishes were fantastic!I would return here again, but I would reserve it for a special occasion or anniversary. It is fantastic food, just not something that can be afforded on a regular basis.

Roberta Holts: The service & food is always top notch here! Depending on how you feel, dining in the bar area is always a winner. You can receive the same food & it may even be slightly cheaper if it falls within the time for happy hour.My go to is the Caesar Salad with Salmon, as pictured, Sweet Chili Calamari & a nice cocktail.Parking: Parking is free for 2 hours, WITH VALIDATION, if you park in the L.A. Live, underground parking garage. The entrance is on Olympic right next to the Yard House Restaurant. Ask your server for validation, they'll provide you with a ticket.

Hal Lester: Quincey & Jesse were just awesome -Couldn’t do enough for us! What a great pre-venue steak house with great food and great people. I wish I’d have taken pictures!

Brandon Griffin: William and Jessie were great. I had lots of gluten free questions and they walked us through everything. It was an enjoyable experience.Dietary restrictions: I wish they had gluten free bread.

Cristine: Food is amazing as always! The Blueberry Lemon Drop is a little different here than at the other Fleming's I've been to, but still tasty! Absolutely love their filet mignon. They have a seasonal apricot and thyme green beans side, and that is pretty amazing as well! Would 1000% recommend taking a rideshare to this location. I would honestly drive the extra miles down to other Fleming's locations only because the parking situation here at the DTLA/LA Live absolutely sucks especially on the weekends. The "complimentary" photo was interesting, but nice when you're having dinner with friends you rarely see!

Liam Lynch: Exceptional service and exceptional food. We were served by a bloke called nick who noticed my wife didn't care for her cocktail and comped it for us without us mentioning it, even though it was simply down to personal taste.The restaurant also supports local knife makers offering a choice of handmade steak knives from a local small business instead of the usual cheap restaurant supply knives.If I ever return to los Angeles I will come back here.

Grant Turner: Incredible food, atmosphere. Wine list and sommelier were incredible. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. And we met Curtis Stone! How can you beat that?Wagyu was incredible!Bread is to die for - we got seconds!

Service, Food, Atmosphere, everything was beyond belief.We celebrated my best friends birthday last night and had an unforgettable experience. Private room, the best food, the best service by Martin and the team, what more could you ask for.We will 1000% be coming to more often to celebrate future milestones.

Magda Kernie: Delicious, Beautiful and Welcoming!!Seriously. I've never been to a fancy place like this, and I think it's like 250 a person. As someone who is frugal, this places is well worth the money.This experience was like no other. I'd never had caviar, scallops, duck, wagyu. Everything was delicious. And very fillings. Like I was very full 75% of the way in. And could have stopped but the courses kept coming.And it was all bomb. Not all of the dishes will knock your socks off, but many will, And you won't leave hungry.And the service...nailed it. Kind and welcoming people. Educated us on every dish, and treated me, the host of the dinner, extremely well. They treated everyone well, but especially me, which was awesome.This experience could not have gone better. Marlene Guardado: You absolutely have to dine here! Everything from the food, to the service, to the wine/cocktails and ambiance was absolutely incredible. My significant other doesn’t eat raw fish and I forgot to mention it when booking, but the staff asked at the start of the meal and they were happy to accommodate the preference despite it being last minute. The somm absolutely nailed the pairing the night I was there. My group loved every single pour so much that we asked for a detailed list of the tasting. Overall, everything was fantastic and I quite enjoyed the perfect balance between friendly and professional when it came to the service.Thank you for an incredible night!

Chiara Gallo: We celebrated our 10years anniversary at Providence LA and we had such a tasteful culinary journey. Everything was phenomenal. From the main dishes and the different side menu such as Maines oysters, chitarra truffle pasta, prawns, Comte truffle. There were the best things we put into our body in 2024 so far. Again everything was excellent and very well wine paired. One of our most desirable restaurant to revisit.

David Baker: A very nice experience.Service was a little spotty: At one point, a diner was served a dish they were deathly allergic to, after the restaurant had multiple warnings. On another course, half the plates at the table didn't have the sauce that went with the protein. The room was a bit cramped, with servers having to ask diners to push in their chairs. Halfway through the meal, our server had to leave and handed off duties to someone else. We waited a long time for the bill at the end of the meal and eventually I went hunting through the restaurant for a server, learning that they'd charge everything to the credit card on file; it would have been nice to be told that, and given the opportunity to review the charges.Still, the food was fantastic.

[None]: , and the only thing better than the food is the service by a warm, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive staff.The portions are rich taste and in aesthetic value, bountiful and captivating in flavor and presentation, and are a good size and not disappointing like other high-end restaurants where you're served foam on half a pea and a grape stem on the left of the plate only to be charged $400 for "the chef's vision"

John Turner: Wow wow wow! If you’ve never been to this place, you’re missing out. Presentation is everything at this place. Talk about elegance, this is it. The way the food comes out like carnival and fair foods is amazing. The ambiance of this restaurant for one puts you into a good feeling. They have the best drinks also. Look at my videos and pictures. My wife took me for Valentine’s Day and I didn’t pay so I can’t tell you about the price but whatever it cost, it’s worth it. The service is 5 star. Big parties are more than welcome too. It’s really a fun environment or it can be sexy. Your choice.

Brittenay Causieeetko: This place was really fun! We have something very similar in Charlotte which is why we tried it. I loved the Cotton Candy Martini and a steak. The only thing I would say is they take the props away very quickly and that might be because they are limited. I noticed people wanted to hold onto them for pics. The food was ok but something was missing and I felt the menu wasn't as diverse. I think adding just a few items that people are familiar with would be helpful.

Even the kids enjoyed the experience and food. I hope they open one in Dallas.We sit and wait for our dessert to wrap up the night! 😋

Leonard: Highly recommended for their steaks, the meat served is top quality.Can recommend the bone in ribeye, as well as the mash and grilled mushroom sides, they were absolutely delicious.The service on both occasions was very good.Waiters are knowledgeable and engaging, and genuinely friendly.I suggest booking in advance as I did a walk in on both occasions with the table at the back of the restaraunt window seating yo be avoided as it is highly trafficked and can spoil what is a very good restaraunt experience.

We were originally due to go to another restaurant but were recommended by friends to go to the Capital Grille instead We are so happy that we took their advice. From the moment we stepped through the door, the whole evening was just wonderful. We were looked after by the lovely Stephanie. She was absolutely incredible. Her service was impeccable and she has the most lovely manner. She really loves her job and this certainly shines through.A birthday note along with some table decorations were laid out for our arrival. A lovely and welcoming touch.The interior and ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and the food was absolutely outstanding and thoughtfully presented. My partner is actually vegetarian and ordered a selection of sides along with the French onion soup which she said is the best she has ever tasted. We were also offered some 'off menu' vegetarian options which was amazing considering this is predominantly a steak house. The evening was topped off by a wonderful birthday desert and a chat with the manager, Lismarie, who wanted to say “hi” and check we enjoyed our evening. How many managers do that!Due to such a memorable evening, we popped in last week on a whim. We hoped to see Stephanie again but she was taking care of a private dining party. She did take the time to talk to us though and left us in the hands of her lovely colleague Alie whose service style, again, was incredible.Alie was amazing and also offered a selection of 'off menu' vegetarian options. My partner had a tasty vegetarian pasta dish and I had the salmon. It was so full of flavour and cooked to perfection by the wonderful and talented chef, Laura. We got to meet chef Laura at the end of the evening which was a lovely experience. The whole team are like a family who all work together to create this amazing restaurant.We really cannot speak highly enough of this fabulous restaurant and would definitely recommend a visit. As well as the beautiful dining area there is a very inviting bar which is very popular.Ps. The onion bread and the creme brûlée are out of this world!Thank you to all the team at the Capital Grille Downtown and we look forward to our next visit ☺️

Fulvia Gomez: Yesterday I hosted a large luncheon party for my mom’s 90th birthday at Capital Grille, downtown LA. My favorite restaurant of all time did not disappoint. The service from planning, to table details, to actual execution was flawless. Superb high quality food with a custom menu and the best champagne and wine pairings. The serving time for all of my guests was synchronized and the overall presentation was perfection.The overall team from the event director, to the chef and his staff, to the AMAZING waitresses left my entire party in awe of what turned out to be the most memorable celebration ever! I dine at Capital Grille frequently, but they just took it up a notch for this event. The attention to detail was extraordinary. The food was superb, let me repeat myself because I want to be emphatic enough, so that you understand that CG must get on your bucket list right away. The custom menu was cooked to absolute perfection. I am so grateful for this experience and from now, every event I plan will be here for sure!!! Well deserved shout outs to LisMarie, Dora, Brittany and McKayla…you guys rock!

Griffen Stapp: One of the best dinner places with shareable plates for everyone!We booked this place since we a local concert to watch in the late evening. The inside layout is amazing cozy and perfect for a date night. They even have a wine room with shelves and rows of wine, quite the look!We sat down and got a couple drinks, I ordered an old fashioned and it was delicious, they really know how to make their drinks!We ordered a handful of dishes, appetizers, mains, and some pasta. There were so many items that looked amazing it was tough to say no to any of them.Their plates come out in shareable sizes and are perfect, a little taste of everything and that a perfect way to eat dinner. Everything tasted phenomenal and I truly mean phenomenal.The service was great, they were always attentive and took care of us every step of the way.We even finished with a little bit of desert. A perfect date night.Check this place out, it’s an experience you won’t forget!
