Guy Hartstein: Excellent French lessons for teens. I’ve been going here for several years now. I found the receptionists desk to be generally unhelpful in getting things done, but besides that, I love the place and the classes.
Pete Hernandez: Teachers are very patient and good at explaining the topics being studied. Everyone is given pretty much the same amount of individual attention. You read out loud, do exercises in class and at home, write, work on grammar, understanding and interpreting literary works and their authors, etc. Great training.

Samira Sadri: I have Yvan Reazza as my Italian tutor. I have been working with him for 3 months now and he is the best tutor i’ve ever had. He is so patient and is always available when you need him. He is very flexible and will customize your classes to make them fun and interesting for you. He has made learning Italian so fun and i enjoy every class with him. He knows the rules better than everybody else and i would definitely recommend him. The way he teachers is amazing and he is overall so sweet and fun.

Gina Martin del Campo: I have been learning Italian for 2 years with Garrett Strommen. I'm 3rd generation Sicilian and always wanted to learn Italian. Although it is often challenging, it has been such a blessing to have been able to be learn the language I'm most passionate about. Garrett, who grew up in Rome is so patient with me and an overall wonderful teacher. I highly recommend Strommen languages for anyone who is seeking to learn a new language either with a private teacher or in a group class setting.

Cherif Gueye: Since December, I’ve been learning French with Erin, she’s genuinely the best teacher I’ve had. So kind, patient and specific to my ambitions in the language. She carefully builds programs for me that come to life in our 1:1 sessions. After about three months, I was comfortable enough to only speak French during our classes. She created a sage space for me to stumble into words and phrases, never making me feel like I wasn’t improving. In July, I went to Europe and saw family, surprising them with my ability in French. Hilary Wagner: We are so happy we decided to send our 2-year old to Le Petit. It's clear our kid loves it. When we're slow to get out of the house in the morning, he urges us toward the door, imploring "school! school!" And then he comes home, singing songs and counting in other languages -- things he learned at school. Le Petit also has a good amount of outdoor space, with a bunny, chickens, and a little garden. When we drop him off, we know he will spend the day being loved by the teachers, learning with friends, and eating good food.

I get to see what the kids do everyday, making me feel like I was there! I honestly can go on and on about the school and everything that I love about it but this would just become a ridiculously long review! Also they prepare kosher and organic meals which my food hating daughter actually eats!If you get bored of reading the above paragraph, all you need to know is that I recommend LPG with with not just 5 stars but 5 million stars!!!

You can feel that they care about our children as they were their owns.On top of that, Mathilda has been learning a lot since she started and you can see her growing every day thanks to Le Petit Gan.

My little cousin attends the preschool there and we couldn't be happier picking him up each and every day! Not only is he learning several different languages like french and hebrew but he is also making new amazing friends. They take such great care of him as he is loved and looked after so carefully. Not to mention the beautiful new location and amazing Kosher/Organic menu for everyday lunch. I cant recommend this Le Petit Gan enough!!
C I: Le Petit Gan is a very special pre-school. From the minute you walk in, it's apparent that there is something different about the aura. Sophie and Simon have created an environment that is so welcoming and loving the children know it the minute they walk in. The campus is beautiful and provides students with so many alternative scenes and options. The yoga room, painting room, classroom, and kitchen are in different locations that are filled with color and highly accessible to all the children. I love that the children eat organic kosher food and are able to be in an environment that is language rich and friendly. Sophie speaks and teaches in French, Hebrew and English which is an incredible commodity and not so readily found. The most important thing to our family, is that our little one is happy, and if he is having a tough day, Sophie and Simon will communicate with him and teach him how to appropriately express his feelings & they will tell us about it. His previous school did not do this and it left Ari really frustrated. When children are young they can't express themselves well yet, and you need to be able to trust who they are with and, without a doubt Sophie and Simon are highly conscious, intelligent, loving, nurturing and wonderful with the children. We are so happy Le Petit Gan now exists in LA, where it has so desperately been needed. I could go on and on about the wonderful experiences we've had thus far, maybe next time....Thank you Le Petit Gan!
Kevin Vaisman: First thing I have to say about Le Petit Gan, is that my son has been so happy since he's been going early 2013. He adapted quickly and I'm sure it had to do with the level of commitment, care and love that Sophie brings to the kids.Second is that same level of commitment focused on the kids is given to the parents as well. On days that I felt unease, I got text messages from the school with pictures of my son happy and having a blast. This kind of communication to me is priceless. It's also great to see the photos Simon takes every week of the kids, he's a great photographer.On another note I have seen my son improve on many levels. He has been a slow talker, and can now speak much better, is more confident and creative. He loves cooking with Sophie as well as gardening and art.I am thankful to have Le Petit Gan in our neighborhood and will highly recommend it.

Emmanuel offers a well rounded curriculum, we focus on different aspect vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar...I wouldn't say I'm a good student especially the grammar part, but Emmanuel is very patient and explains in a way I feel like I'm not just following a book. Everything I learn can be easily apply to everyday life and when I travel abroad.Besides the weekly class, there's also a free weekly newsletter that features French culture, fun facts and quizzes, that keeps me well in the mood of French than only during the class.
Nestor Fernandes: Emmanuel is a great teacher! He tailors his lessons to suit his students’ level and aptitude. Furthermore, he focusses on pronunciation and conversational aspects, while striving to explain grammar as intuitively as possible. He is a natural at teaching and a native speaker, so it doesn’t get much better. The lessons are one-on-one, well planned and enjoyable. I have learned a significant amount in a short span of time. However, and more importantly, my confidence in my ability to converse in French has increased several fold. I would highly recommend his classes.

All the teachers I've met there are super nice and caring and really work with you to make sure you understand the language. I only studied French on my own before starting at Coucou and in just the few months I've been there I have seen a huge improvement in my understanding of language. Coucou also hosts a bunch of really awesome culture events as well and every one I've gone to has been a blast. Since December 2019 I have done a 10-week group program, a 2-week accelerated group program, and weekly private lessons. There is an option for every time and financial commitment.I have to commend Coucou on quickly adapting to distance/online-learning in response to Covid-19. I went from in-person learning to online without any trouble or inconvenience at all. Christian Jimenez: class due to having already studied French before and I have been very happy to have joined another Francophone community that really cares about the students and their passion for the language and French culture. They are very flexible with your needs and provide a lot of support in helping you reach your goals. They have been very inclusive on how they run their school and have made my classes very fun and engaging. Being in Cynthia's class is a delight as she brings a lot of personality to her method of teaching and is patient with every student to make each lesson fun and worth your time and money. If you are looking for a Francophone community to join I would not hesitate to try out Coucou as they also provide many other activities and classes to really live the French language.

That has completely changed with classes at Coucou -- in-person instruction, the course plans they've developed, and the ability to ask questions has really helped me to improve my understanding and abilities in French so much more quickly.

For me, I’m looking to understand the culture as much as learn the language and my classes at Coucou has enriched my understanding of French in a wholistic way. I was looking for classes that were more than just sitting there studying French like you were in high school again, but something that could help me maintain my French and learn in a different way.I knew a lot of French coming in so started with level 3. The class size was small and intimate, and my teacher made class feel comfortable and fun.The location is really cute, and doesn't feel like a classroom for children. Parking is on the street which always has open spaces.I also really enjoy the community that Coucou is creating as I continue to take classes. From holiday parties to movie nights to embroidery in French there is so much to offer! I'm learning the French I want to learn, that will help me sound more natural.

She keeps the classes light and fun, AND she is really good at explaining complicated grammar. Having small classes is great to keep you engaged. nahal: Coucou is a special place. I‘ve been a student for a year now and haven taken both private and group classes here, both of which I recommend. I find the Coucou approach engaging, practical, and effective- I saw great results in just a few months. The vibe is fun & low pressure- you can put as much work into it as you want or can based on your schedule- and will see results accordingly. Beyond classes, they host some really great cultural events that bring the Community together around French language. Everything I’ve attended has been tastefully put together and always a good time. In terms of teachers, I really love learning with Cynthia, but all of the instructors are super knowledgeable and patient.
Nikhil Syam: Highly recommend this program! The curriculum is engaging and makes you feel comfortable to learn and grow at your own pace. The teachers are fantastic and oh so French. I found it cool that as you continue to move up levels, your teachers move up with you and continue to foster your develpment.All in all a fantastic school and set of teachers; out of all the methods and classes I've tried, this is the best!

Rachel Gariepy: I have really enjoyed taking class with La Petite Ecole Française. Caroline is very clear and takes her time to make sure everyone in the class is comprehending each lesson. It's nice to have a weekly reason to speak French with other people and I appreciate that the homework isn't too time consuming.

Her classes feel more like a meet-up with a friend-- she is always willing to spend more time on a topic that you as a student find interesting, or chat in French to improve your conversational skills.She is also incredibly thorough and provides her students with skills early-on that other teachers might overlook-- for example, being able to provide someone with my email address in French didn't seem important until I was traveling in Paris and needed a French-speaking clerk manning the desk at the Palace of Versailles to re-send me my tickets via email!Caroline inspires her students to have a passion not just for the French language, but French culture. I would highly recommend her class to anyone who is interested in learning more about this fascinating country and their language.
Solange Lalande: My teacher, Caroline Busse, is a really good instructor. I enjoy the class and the way Ms. Busse guides us each week. She provides interesting and fun lessons. We have opportunities for conversations within the class, writing exercises, grammar lessons, cultural and historical information about France, all within the context of the class. The homework is manageable and definitely helps the learning process. I highly recommend French classes at La Petite Ecole Française with Ms. Caroline Busse.

She provides a wide variety of learning activities and exposure to authentic materials, including music, movies, drama, and all sorts of things you don't get from just textbooks.
